on the expensive side: Makeup Forever 128 Brush for precise application of powder. MUFE 130 brush is the bigger one, it's nice too but yun nga big for me. I like 128 better.

cheaper alternatives: Ecotools Retractable Kabuki Brush, easily one of the best cheaper brushes i ever had. but then mahirap hanapin yan dito sa pinas. i sadly lost mine a few years ago, i tried looking for one online here and sa local Ecotools sellers, even sa mall wala.

Real Techniques Powder brush is also a good powder brush. does its job and hindi naman scratchy or too soft. it's cheap plus readily available. just watch out for fake ones. meron naman in SM malls na din ng RT brushes so better get there na lang.

for local brands, CHARM retractable kabuki brush is also okay, both the fluffy and flat top ones.

I have a bias leaning towards Sigma F80 when it comes to buffer brushes. haven't tried Zoeva 104 but i might never try it because of my love for the F80. hihi. 

anyway, check out Jaclyn Chong's ig. she resells Zoeva brushes both preorder and on-hand. you can see the name of her shop in her ig profile. Nu_U something. may fake na din kasi na Zoeva, madami na nagkalat but Jaclyn's are legit.

fan brushes are okay but then hindi sya one sweep. if you're after minimal highlight okay sya but dapat kabisado mo na how to sweep fan brushes on areas where you want your highlight. i find it best for light dusting lang. best fan brush for me is MAC 184 kasi very lightweight lang.

Sigma F35 is one of the best I've used kasi fluffy and precise talaga ang strobing mo dito. but then pricey sya for a brush that's not multi-purpose. go for MAC 109 na lang at least you can use it for blush, contour and even highlight if you're in for the expensive department.

what i'm loving right now is Zoeva 105. i like that it's tapered and has dense bristles but fluffy sa dulo. it picks up powder products really well and you can go from light sweep to dramatic highlight using this one brush. saktong sakto lang sa face ko tong brush na to which i also use for sweeping contour minsan and light bronzing.

I super like the Artis brush dupe I bought on eBay for $4! Feeling ko meron sa 168 niyan kasi Made in China.

It's the brush that looks like a spoon. Super soft, blends cc cream like cushion!

^^ Thanks sis, I'm leaning towards the Sigma f35 and f37, or the Zoeva 105 (must look for the regular, non-rose gold version) I'm buying from Sephora kaya these are the brands na pinagpipilian ko. Yung sa fan brush, meron na nga pala ako sa collection ko kaya pass na muna siguro.

i love these paddle brushes too, but only the foundation brush, i find the smaller sized ones for the eyes basically useless. the bigger brushes too parang so-so lang. but the small foundation brush works so well. the divisoria dupes here retail around 200+ online. i loved the dupe and the idea behind the paddle handle so much that i bought the MAC Oval 6 and now i forgot all about my beauty blender na. it works for all formulas but for liquid foundies, bb and cc, even tinted moisturizers, sobrang ganda ng finish.

^^ Galing no? I only have the one for foundation/base (I don't wear eye makeup, etc) but I find application and blending a breeze. As in wala pang 30 seconds, super blended na. Effect is
even better than cushion. I only have the dupet.

^nice! I also use that for my cream contour products angganda nga! Yet to try for bb, cc and liquid foundies parang ang liit kasi baka matagal vs. cushion/ kamay..

might get the medium sized one meron lang kasi ako nun small one for the face. I bought sa tiangge p200 lang for that. The medium sized around p300

I use alchohol only. Although some makeup artists says it dries out the natural haired bristles, some say it is perfectly OK.

if you're just starting out on contouring:
NARS Ita brush
Zoeva Face Paint brush
Real Techniques 301 bold metals brush
Real Techniques Sculpting brush

i'd still choose the Nars Ita over any contouring brush out there because madali sya gamitin.

How much did you buy your Ita brush? Contemplating on whether to get it or not because I've heard a lot of people saying they have a huge problem with shedding but it's super good naman daw huhu

2k++ sis. i think less than 2500 sya sa rustans. it's quite expensive but worth it naman, cuts contouring time to half. isang stroke then blend okay na.

with shedding, i think kasi dahil sa structure nya kaya it does. mine did nung first few washes. but eventually, it stopped na.
