- Make sure to eat before preps. Applicable ito for the bride and groom.
- Label flowers, boutonnieres and corsages properly.
- Don't forget yung items for offertory.
- Face powder sa bridal pouch. Minsan oily na yung face before mag-lakad sa church.
- Ask the photographer and videographer to take pics of the symbols first. Ito yung parating nakakalimutan.
- Keep the program short, interesting and interactive para di ma-bore yung guests.
- Choose the wedding traditions that you want to do.

Happy preps sissies! =)

Handwritten thank you notes to each person who gave you a wedding present

I agree. In all the weddings I've attended, and I mean dozens upon dozens of weddings, I've only received ONE thank you note so far. The bride and groom sent each one of us thank you notes, handwritten, enclosed with our group photo with them at the couple's table. It was very nice and I'm planning to do that in my own wedding. Hindi ata uso sa Pinas ang thank you notes, but I think it should be.

4. Yung mga bayarin na on the day, may listahan ka dapat tapos pahawak mo na yun sa wedding coor o sa sister  or mother mo na kasama mo sa hotel para sila na mag-aabot ng bayad sa mga supplier

hello ladies... here are some other things you need to consider po on your wedding day

- give the contact numbers of your readers, commentator & offerors.. hindi po sila nakadamit like ng sa abay so hindi sila madali hanapin.. para lang your coordinator can inform them who to look for or where to sit when they arrive at the church

- head count for meals during preps.. aside from crew, kasama din dito ang family ni bride, ni groom na mag-stay sa hotel at lahat ng entourage/ other relatives for make up at kung may kasama pa sila, lalo na kung darating sila before ng scheduled meal time.. sa suppliers naman, ask kung kasama na sa driver [textspeak!] headcount nila

- label your payment envelopes with the supplier name and amount, and make sure to seal it.. para no need na for the coordinator or whoever is going to settle the payment to open the envelopes..

- if you're paying checks on the day, please inform your suppliers.. hindi po lahat tumatanggap ng checks, at yung iba project-based ang staff kaya need nila ng cash only

- if you're playing canned music, always have backup materials, CDs should be burned in 2 formats, same sa mga AVP, back up din sa usb, or kung may HDD kayo, better

- if you're endorsing a laptop (i.e for AVP made by the couple) please don't forget to endorse the charger :) baka lang mamatay sa kalagitnaan ng presentation..

nice tips for brides to be.

Hehe! Yung husband ko nag best man, yung groom puti ang socks habang black ang pants at shoes, pinagpalit sila nung coordinator. Haha!

Awkward moment talaga yun.

4. make sure the souvenirs are placed on nice basket or table for distribution. nung wedding namin, hala binuhat ng staff nung coordinator yung brown box (corrugated box) at pinamingay sa bisita ang souvenir... di na nailipat sa lalagyan, di bagay! haha

Hahaha. :-) glad to help mga bride-to-be... I can't help but be observant kasi lalo na sa mga events, not only para mang okray... ganun lang talaga ako... kaya yang mga small details na yan napapansin ko talaga. hehe

one thing more, make sure you enjoy the day and loosen up... lalo na mga bride. Don't stress yourself on your wedding day... nagawa nyo na lahat ng preparations months before, it's time to enjoy the moment. :-)

I think it's important to make sure the bathrooms and toilets are clean and smell nice. I went to a wedding where the bride herself provided a basketful of nice toiletries including soaps, alcohol, lotion, tissue, sanitary napkins, even mouthwash with little paper cups in the ladies room. It was a nice touch.

Speaking of small, my couturier was telling me about this wedding na the bride ata lost a bracelet that was a family heirloom. Imagine that. Maybe if you will wear an heirloom jewelry, sa ceremony nalang. Then pag party time, tanggalin nalang para hindi mawala.
