sa mga nagpa LHR ng legs, did you do lower legs lang or full legs?  Plan ko kasi lower leg lang (pag nagpapawax ako lower lang naman), pero sabi nagiging prominent tignan hair sa thighs once hair free na yung lower legs.  Ganun ba talaga?  Fine yung hair ko sa thighs and it does not bother me, pero hindi nga smooth because of the hair.  Did you regret having having LHR for lower legs lang instead of full legs?

hi sis artegirl, i dont regret having LowerLeg lang lol.. but if you have some budget to spend on having full legs.. i think it is nice to have it .. imo lang

^sis angelholics, hindi ba weird that you have hair sa thighs but none sa lower legs?   I don't wear very short shorts/skirts/dress so I don't see the need to go for full legs.  lower leg wax nga lang ako lagi kahit pa I'm going to going swimming.  Pero napaisip ako kasi yung nakausap ko sabi mas sulit ang full legs, plus mas noticeable na daw hair sa thighs once the lower legs are hair free

how many sessions did it take you to be hair free?

Axilight is an imitation machine that only Skin Station has.  You won't be seeing a lot of reviews aside from the ones in their blog lang unlike its counterpart which is Revlite na kilala worldwide, also popularised by Belo.

Gentlemax Pro naman is common siya in countries like Saudi Arabia and UK where people are very hairy.  This is something to think about because it says a lot about what the machine is capable of, which I believe is lesser sessions.  Research ka din some more

I had LHR removal done at Asian Hospital using Alexandrite laser. Prior to that I've had Ipl and some diode sessions too pero yung sa derma ko lang yung nagwork. Magaling cya mag-adjust ng intensity though nakalimutan ko na yung lang Joules ang ginamit kaya sayang. I only had 3 sessions of Alexandrite I think 3 years ago and now super fine as in wala pero medyo nagkahormonal imbalance ako so medyo naging thick yung hair that's why I'm planning to go back to Dra. Suratos. 2500 ata ang armpits nila but I don't know now baka nagmahal na.

Understanding Hair Removal

The usual remedies for unwanted hair are plucking, shaving, waxing or chemical depilatories. Some are painful, messy and all are only temporary. For long-term hair removal, electrolysis is popular and effective but is uncomfortable and slow.

Now there’s a more effective solution, the new Light Sheer Diode Laser, a state-of-the-art system specially designed to remove unwanted hair faster and effectively with less discomfort than many other methods. Depending on your needs, this is great for men and women, young or old who want to get rid of excess and unwanted hair.


How does the Light Sheer Diode work?
The light emitted by the Light Sheer Diode laser is well absorbed by the pigment located in the hair follicles. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, vaporizing the pigment and significantly impeding the hair’s regrowth.


Is it painful?
The laser treatment itself can cause a slight tingling sensation compared to an insect bite or a snap of a rubber band against your skin. Most patients tolerate the procedure well. But for more sensitive areas of the body, we normally apply cream anesthesia (EMLA) and leave it on for 30-40 minutes before the treatment.


How long is each session?
The length of the laser session may vary from a few minutes to an hour or more depending on the size of the area to be treated. Sessions are spaced every 4 – 6 weeks with an average of 6-8 treatments needed.


What should I expect?
The Light Sheer Diode has a special cool tip that protects and cools the upper layer of the skin before, during and after each pulse while directing the heat energy to the hair root. This allows a safe and effective treatment of different skin colors.

The appearance of the treated area immediately after a laser session will vary from patient to patient depending on the extent of the treatment and skin type. Immediately after the session, one may experience some redness and swelling on the area treated, which will disappear after a short time. There may be a slight tingling sensation. The use of antiperspirants or deodorants must be avoided for the next two days.


What should I do in between sessions?

In between treatments it is important not to pluck or wax the treated area. Shaving is encouraged since the hair grows back thicker making it more detectable during the next session.

yup nasearch ko din sis kaya instead of diode ipush ko nalang ang gentlemax. nabasa ko na capable siya sa fine and thick hair and also din sa skin type 1-3 ata.

and may mga time nga na pag hindi kinaya ng diode nirerefer din daw sa gentlemax para makasiguro doon na talaga sa mas ok mejo mas mahal pero tama ka sis mas konting session ang kelangan.. mejo thick hair kasi talaga sa ua ko eh.. kakapagod na magpawax every 2 weeks..

Hi genelnar, good choice of clinic for hair removal.  I also had mine with skin house and its been like maybe 6 months already since my last session with them?  I will just have touch up with them this coming week since its beach time on the looong weekend this coming May! hehe

May burnt hairs diba?  Those will eventually fall off   Masakit possibly because it is your first time.  Imagine how it feels like in the bikini area pero no choice, I decided to take it all off.  Gentlemax pro is just uncomfortable pero at least fewer sessions in the long run.

Belo in mega mall uses light sheer sis pero not all branches has that machine.  The customer rep probably just answered in general.  If you want something for lower legs, request to get around 4 sessions lang kasi hindi naman supposedly kailangan ng maraming sessions diyan.
Also, those with tight budget might want to check out the buy 1 take 1 at skin house for underarms.

yes sis @nicoletta.. nagshed na siya.. may mga natira pa pero happy ako sa result.. yug sa sister ko since manipis lang hair niya iyon tuwang tuwa din dahil halos wala na nga daw ngayon..

After mga 4 days tumubo na ulit armpit hairs ko pero mas manipis na sila. Excited for my 2nd session this may 22. Mas konti na lang din yung dami ng hairs.
