My baby recently celebrated her party. Our stylist recommended Marcus the Magician so I got him. during the party, I noticed that guests were coming in but the host is not yet on stage. I asked his assistant where he is. He said that Marcus is on his way from another show. He arrived 2 hours late!!!!! We had to extend and pay some suppliers additional fees. I even asked his assistant if this is their modus where they double book just to rake in more dough. I was super stressed. In all fairness, Marcus did not ask for the remaining balance but He's definitely not woth the stress!

^sis, sad to hear what happened with your party. Wala bang advise na he will be late prior to the event? Sana naging honest na lang sya before ng party. Yun sa party ko january pa yun,i know na may mauuna sken na party and since im from cavite wizzo needed additional time for travelling. So my party planner told me if i can adjust my party to 3 to 4pm. Alam ko na gagawin ko.

Usually talaga sunod-sunod ang parties nila pag weekends.. i got Wizzo and he advised me naman na me panggagalingan syang another party kaya we moved ours to an hour later para me ample time sya for travel and preps.

hi ask ko lang mommies, which is better to booked them (host/magician) through party planners or direct with them nalang? kasi parang mas mura ang rate nila through party planners.

^^ based naman sa naging inquiries ko before, mas mura ng 500-2k pag direct booking with host/magician. And usually kasama na sound system, etc. Kasi wala ng kumisyon ang party planner.

@hakunamatata, sis makakamura ka naman siguro like few hundreds or a thousand. Kung marami kang time na mag confirm, follow-up and coordinate pwede siguro. Pero once na hindi dumating, na-late or nakalimutan wala kang masisisi kundi sarili mo lang din. Unlike pag may pp sya na bahala what time sya dapat dumating,flow ng program etc.

Tagal ko na di active sa girltalk, pero i want to vent out talaga.. Kakatapos lang ng 1st birthday ng baby ko and i got jiggles the balloonlady. I got her for 13k plus sound system.. And di ako satisfied sa performance niya.. She looks so mataray. And bakit ganun, ang konti lang ng nagawa niyang balloons? Karamihan pa e, ginawa na niya before hand at inassemble sa harap! its just sad..akala ko kasi from scratch niya iblow yung balloons. Kasi magaganda comments sakanya. Before??? Inisip ko nalang na baka may sakit?! She not even funny!! I asked her assistant na baka pwede taglish siya para sa kids kasi hindi naman lahat ng kids guests ko e english speaking pero straight english siya! Lesson is, Hindi pala porket mahal ang bayad mo e makakasigurado kana sa prrformance nila. siguro dahil matanda na si ms.jing? I will not recommend her.. I will not get her in the future!! Ang mahal pa niya!

^sis that's so sad to hear! I thought pa naman na ok siya kasi a friend of mine attended a party na siya yun host. She said ok naman daw. Anyway, baka hindi siya consistent so scary!

Ako din now lang ulit nakabalik dito sa forum. So super delayed feedback ito for Erney A. I got him for my daughter's 1st birthday party. If i remember correctly 11K siya with sound system. Anyway, super worth it naman siya! He arrived on time naman (although medyo madami na guests din by that time so late yun music ko) plus may assistant din siyang kasama. In fairness, once he started naman tuloy-tuloy na talaga siya as in pati nun eating time na he was still working by entertaining the guests waiting in line dun sa buffet tables. He only ate nga after the party e. Plus what I really liked was educational yun games niya so the kids will really think and learn something. And the adult guests also liked him a lot kasi super fun and entertaining din yung adult games niya! All in all happy naman ako sa kanya. Although I must say din na hindi ganun kabongga yun magic tricks niya ha and konti lang. So if you want yun more on magic tricks, siguro get someone else. Yun lang. HTH!

nahihirapan pa ko pumili ng host/magician. choices ko si pocholo (10k) ng phijoz (wala ko makita na review).. and si albert cuaresma.. kaso ang mahal niya 13k [textspeak!] tf nya..
