Hi mga sis, share ko lang my own opinions regarding party hosts/magicians as I have been to a number of parties these past few years. For me, my top three would be Symond, Leodini and Wanlu. Least na nagustuhan namin ni hubby as well as my daughter is Flooch.

Symond is all in one. Funny, witty, connects well with the audience (kids and adults alike), charming, executes magic well, professional, punctual, etc. Leodini naman, we like him, bec though he is not handsome in a conventional way, he possesses charm and connects well with the audience too. Kakaiba din his magic act and super super galing talaga. Nakakabilib. Yun nga lang he can't do hosting (medyo natatawa kami ni hubby sa pronunciations nya minsan but that is part of his charm). Meron siyang package na may ibang person to do the hosting for a minimal tf lang. Wanlu, we actually watched him when he was invited sa event sa school ng daughter ko. Two thumbs up din. Magaling, excellent magic tricks, adults and kids were glued the entire time he was on stage. Those 3 i have me mentioned, my top three hosts/magicians, i would give them a rating of 10/10. Si Flooch ang host na after ng party, same kami ng reaction ni hubby. Not impressed. Naaartehan si hubby sa kanya and I have to agree. Lol. When I mentioned to hubby na siya yung "ginaya daw" ni Symond before (allegedly ha, from what i have read from a thread before), sabi ni hubby mas magaling kaya si symond sa kanya! Parang for me Flooch lacks charm (baka nataon na he had issues/problems that time? Or wala sa mood?). He's not that funny either. And magic was ok lang.

Regarding other hosts we've seen, I have yet to remember their names pa muna, kasi yung mga top and least talaga naretain sa utak ko. Hihi. Yan na muna for now. Hope this would be of some help to mommies  planning their kids parties.

Hi mommies!  Had Albert Cuaresma for our son's recent 7th birthday, the flow of the event was very smooth and lahat siya ang nag handle from start to finish, parang hindi nauubusan ng energy, the kids, the adults really like him and enjoyed his show, the kids never left the front row during the entire party. at first I thought of getting The Golden Show for added entertainment, its a good thing we did not kasi super fun and packed na [textspeak!] event sa host/magician pa lang. His package includes hosting, magic, ventri, balloon twisting and sound system. and his sound system is really great too. He really had us worry free, he treats the event as if it is his own. Although mommies preferences may vary, eto [textspeak!] sa min, our criteria were funny, entertaining and engaging, not necessarily fluent in english and no greens.

Thank you sa mga mommies who shared their kids party experiences as it was a big part on the success of ours too. Cheers!

hi everyone! mag ask [textspeak!] sna ako ng suggestions regarding host/ magician for my daughter birthday party. nabasa ko [textspeak!] dito c wizzo boring so parang ayaw ko na sya. c albert cuaresma nman ang [textspeak!] nya taglish sya which is ok [textspeak!] nman sa akin pero mejo turn off ako. si erney nman hindi daw nya forte ang magic at ventri. c chayno nman wlang ventri. i cant decide. gusto ko kc host na nakukuha attention ng kids and adults, interactive, lively (no dull moments), wow ang magic skills. pls help po. up to 15k [textspeak!] budget ko. thanks

@funky f & @yrehs-- yup the 11500 rate is with sound system na. My new venue kasi has no sound system pa with d rental fee.  Kaya yun got his na Lang.

I just wanted to share the bad experience of my friend with Boogie and Friends.  Party was supposed to be 11-2 pm.  It was already past 11 and they were not yet at the venue so my friend had to call them.  If he didn't call, they wouldn't have informed him that they were stuck in traffic.

By the way, I also didn't buy his excuse.  The party was in Makati and they were coming from Marikina.  If they knew how far the distance and the traffic situation, they should have left earlier.  My friend ended up hosting his own event because Boogie and friends arrived at 1:55 pm.  I really felt bad for my friend because I knew he started planning this event since April.

They were not even good and not kid-friendly.  Very basic routines and his balloon twisting was pathetic. The balloons would pop or unravel before the kids would get the balloons.

I attended a party where Rico the Magician was the entertainment. I really enjoyed it. Heard his rate was 35K

Hi sis design21, cant send PM yet. was able to get albert at 12k, Cavite pa kasi kami eh, due to our location, we are usually quote almost double, it was the best rate among our choices. turns out sulit naman.

I'm having second thoughts if a magic show/ventriloquist entertainer would fit.  It's been a while since I last ventured into planning for my kids' party.

Hi!  I had Jiggles before (2011) and she was a hit among our guests.  I met her again in 2012 and she had a tragic event struck her, and my heart broke when I learned about it.

Maybe I would finally meet Melody Remorca?

Sis Kelai, you can inquire with Dale Rubio. We got him as our host and magician for my son's first birthday party last Sunday. His style is street magic, not the grand magic that some magicians do in kiddie parties. Bagay siya sa crowd namin since we had really young kids and teens/adults, wala kami masyado nung playing kids talaga (7 to 10 year olds). Our guests enjoyed and got intrigued with his close up magic. Kinakabahan ako when we were planning the party, baka walang sumali sa games but he was also able to invite my guests in joining. He does not have sound system included but he referred his friend to us for the sounds. Pasok sila sa 10k budget mo.

I highly recommend FLOOCH. sulit ang bayad kahit mas mataas rate niya compare sa iba.
we really had fun nung first bday ng baby ko. kuhang kuha niya both adults and kids.
