hi i'm just new here. hopefully you guys can help me. im currently working in [textspeak!] and gusto ko sana dalhin mom ko dito and get her a visiting visa. May alam ba kayo agency sa manila na nag process? thanks so much!

^ hi sis, i just recently processed the stamping of my visit visa on my passport, thank God its done i now only have to wait to fly.

you ask your work agency, the one to which you left, if they can do it for you. In my case my husband's agency doesnt  process visit visas, so i looked up to all saudi-agencies over the net, sent inquiries through email and sms.

There were some who replied, but theres this one, Abba Manpower Services replied with all the details of everything that needs to be done, and the staff seemed knowledgeable.

I am from the visayas area, so tinanong ko yung kausap ko sa Abba if okay lang na il just send all the necessary documents via courier to their agency to avoid the hassle of going to Manila, it would mean id have to spend for plane tickets, hotels, transpo etc. Okay naman daw since no personal appearance needed sa saudi embassy.

Payment was made through bank deposit. Nung natapos na yung visa stamping ko, only took 3 days,the staff told me to pick up na yung passport ko sa office nila, pinakiusapan ko na lang na kng pwede nilang i mail back to my adress, nag offer pa ako ng 2, 000 php for the favor na i mail na lang nila sa akin yung passport ko.at first ayaw pumayag, even asked me baka may relative ako in manila na pwedeng mag pick up ng passport ko at yung relative na lang magpdala sa akin ng passport ko, eh wala naman talaga akong relative in manila, pinakiusapan ko na lang and they agreed telling me its not their fault if ever mawala in the process of delivering by the courier.

What surprised me more is that the staff refused the 2, 000 php that i offered, hindi na ako nagpumilit baka mainsulto at magdecide na dapat ako talaga kumuha ng passport sa office nila

Im just happy theres still those who are not after the money So if someone would ask id recommend the agency.

All in all, the processing of my visit visa went smoothly,  but before that i really took time to reasearch over the net about evrything in it, backreading here, asking GTalkers in PM.

thanks so much for your very informative reply sis. actually abba din agency ko so im so happy to hear na nag process din pala sila ng visit visa. ask ko lang ano ano need na requirements? mother ko kasi papapuntahin ko need pa kaya niya birth cert with red ribbon? thanks so much again!

^ I dont know what are the requirements for parents visit visa, email mo na [textspeak!] sis yung staff, she answers promptly to emails, il pm it to you the email ad, mine kasi was sponsored by hubby.

Dun sa sis na nagtatanong about bringing home TV as check in baggage, 40 inches yung inuwi namin sis last 22Nov lang. Wala kami binayaran sa airport. Actually di nga sya pinansin man lang ng customs, dere derecho lang kami pagkabigay nung small paper.

true ba yan sis? kung ganon iuuwi ko nalang ang sakin as check in baggage. sayang din ang 500-600SR na bayad pag pinadala.

ano yung exemption clause? san pwede makuha sis? salamat...

Sis imnuttz- yep. Nakapag uwi kami as check in baggage without paying any additional fee. Yun din sinabi samin ni kabayan ng makati express kasi sya nagpi pick up ng mga pinapadala namin. Tinanong namin how much padala pag sea at air cargo then sabi nya icheck in baggage nalang namin since up to 40 inches daw wala pa bayad. So ayun, check in namin sya then sobra kaba namin nun malapit na kami sa customs kasi nga baka singilin kami hehe pero wala naman pumansin derederecho lang kami.

Hi mga sissies...natuwa naman ako sa thread na ito.nagkakaron ako ng idea lifestyle diyan sa Saudi.nagwowork din si hubby sa saudi,pinag iisipan namin kung magfafamily status siya or stay nalang kami dito pinas kahit paano nakadagdag sa mga considerations namin sa mga nabasa ko dito.kung family status ba,stay at home lang ang mga wife at hindi pwedeng maghanap ng work?pwede din pala visit lang,pero im sure malaking gastos.

Matanong ko pala ulit may idea ba kayo how to spot fake havaianas at ipanema,nalaman ko din dito half the price ang ang presyo sa saudi eh sabi ko pabili nalang ako sa hubby ko.

Ang totoo nyan sis kapag dependent ka ang nakalagay sa visa is "not allowed to work" pero in the past nakasanayan ng mga company na mag hire ng mga dependent since makakatipid sila dahil pwede nila hindi na isponsor since under naman ni hubby. Kaya marami pinay na dependent dito ng asawa or tatay ang nakakapag work. Pero recently medyo naghipit sila kaya karamihan ng dependent na working ay nagresign or inalis ng employer kasi baka nga naman mahuli sila. Sa ngayon, not sure if meron pa tumatanggap ng dependent sa mga company. Pwede siguro basta ililipat nila sponsor mo from hubby's employer to them.
Though, meron mga alam ako nagpa part time padin sa mga village as nanny, linis house, or minsan babantay ng pets.

Sa havs at ipanema alam ko yung orig is malambot dapat.pero di rin ako expert dyan tee hee!.. pero super mura talaga sis wala pa nga yata sa half ng price dyan satin. Kapag nga tumitingin ako dyan sa mall sobra ako namamahalan. Samantalang dito meron pa makukuha 3 for SR100.

Thanks sis for taking time to answer...Oo nga daw medyo naghigpit sila ngayon dahil nadin daw sa saudization.mahal ba magpaaral diyan ng kinder?yung sa mga food niyo diyan sis mahal ba?Iniisip ko din kasi if ever man na sumama kami diyan sa saudi,makakaipon din kaya considering yung salary ng hubby ko.dito sa pinas sa sahod niya mabubuhay kana at makakaipon,yun nga lang malaking sacrifice kasi magkalayo kami ng isang taon.kumusta ka naman diyan sis?ano mga pinagkakaabalahan mo pag freetime ?I know every friday may Bible study din at nagsasalo salo sila.

^His sis. Pasensya ka na hindi ko napansin na di ako nakareply sa questions mo. Kamusta ka na? Tuloy na ba kayo dito? About sa school wala ako idea sis. Pero parang mas mura dito compared sa Dubai.

Kamusta na kayo mga sis? Ako eto, busy sa pag eempake. Mag exit na kami ng husband ko dahil lipat kami sa ibang country pero middle east pa din. Sad dahil magiging job less ako for a while pero hoping pag nakasunod na ulit ako kay husband ay makakuha na ulit ng work.

BTW, ano pala mga sis ang magandang airline na direct na sa pinas from saudi? Gulf air kasi kami pero lagi dammam bahrain manila. Gusto ko sana this time dammam manila or clark na kasi ako lang uuwi sa pinas si hubby derecho na sa new work nya.

Sa nagtanong about tuition fees here, ang kasama namin sa house my grade 1 daughter, enrollment fee 2,000 sr and they pay 450 sr monthly i think its like in our country classes start on june and ends march also.

Hello mga sis. Plano namin na magvisit ako sa kanya jan sa middle east this August. Puede bang jan I process ang visit visa ko? Thru my hubby's visa. And mga gano kaya katagal process. Kailangan ko kc mag file ng bakasyon ko atleast a month before.  Thanks.

Hi ladies!
This thread seems to be silent na. Anyway, just sharing that my daughter and I have finally arrived in the kingdom last September 5th. So far, we are okay. My daughter has well adapted to the new environment. It is easier for kids I guess. Well as for me, still kind of getting used to the new life as a Stay At Home mom. We are staying along Khobar-Dammam Coastal Road here in Rakah. Kakapanibago to stay and drive just within the camp. Nakakalabas lang kami when hubby is around, which is every Thurs to Sat lang because he is stationed off shore in Tanajib. There are company buses which can take us outside pero di pa ata ako sanay lumabas without hubby. We visit our in laws in Khobar on a weekly basis. And I see a lot of Pinoys in that area, parang pinas lang.

Anyway, sana may mameet ako fellow Pinay moms na stay at home lang din.

By the way, what courier means do you use pag may ipapadala kayo items from Pinas to Saudi. May mga gusto kasi ako ipasunod na gamit na naiwan namin.

^hi sis biyach, what name ng village kayo nakatira? Nag work kasi ako sa area na yan before and sa loob din ng village ang office namin. You can go to the mall sis while hubby is in the office. Ako ganun ginagawa ko after office at ayoko pa umuwi sa house at OT si hubby. Pero don't ride a public taxi yung white. Safer if you call a limo taxi. If you want I can give you the number of my service before. From HALA transport sya, pakistani pero mabait at di manyakis (sorry for the word). Saka cheap lang singil nila unlike other limo taxi provider. SR20 lang within khobar. Sya contact ko pati ni hubby kahit pag need namin pumunta airport. Nung umalis nga kami dyan binigyan sya ng tip ni hubby and ngpasalamat for being nice to me at paghatid hatid sakin. Kasi kahit sya nakita rin na mabait sya na driver compared sa una kong service na indiano.

BTW mga sis, we left Saudi for good na last April lang. Hubby accepted a job here in Dubai kaya eto sabit ulit ako. It's just so sad na I had to leave my job as well. Pero masaya since mas normal na ang buhay namin dito na parang Pinas lang minus our family. kaya eto tambay muna sa house pero in time maghahanap ulit ng job.
