Have fun :)

@izabelle

Yes, you can have it cancel over the phone, no other documents needed for submission.

I have been a cc holder of rcbc for the longest tome. Type ko yung for a minimum amount of purchase may freebies agad sa tie up na merchant. What cc company would you recommend mga sis na madalas may oromos na ganun? Tia. 💖

I read from their Terms and Condition that you need to send a letter to them for formality kapag magpapacancel ka ng card.

I actually called three times to verify and it's cancelled na daw.

However,  Magulo nga sila kausap kasi before when i ask them to change my address naka 20 times yata akong follow up before they really did.. so ngayon, im having 2nd thoughts if cancelled na ba talaga ang card.

Kaya naiisip ko to send them a letter.. I asked our lawyer pa nga about the letter haahah sabi nya, for formality and wala naman daw mawawala, might as well do it. lol

Do you guys receive your credit card statements on time?  Or laging late din?   I always get mine like a week before mag expire yung due date.  For me hassle siya because I only have a week to prepare payment and most of the time I go out of town so a lot of times I get delayed payments.  Do you guys experience the same thing?  What can you say about online statements?  Isn't it dangerous to send it online?

^ generally i received my statements on time, there were cases of delay but this was due to system changes on the bank which they had informed the clients. Nonetheless, I know the usual billing due date of my cards, so in case there's delay, I either check it online or call the center to verify the amount due, i just counter checked it with my records if the amount is correct, and pay for it even without the billing statement. As for paperless statement, it should be safe, just make sure to use a private mail domain as much as possible.

Hello mga sis! I'm a Metrobanker and I can help with your credit card application as long as you have a gross monthly salary of at least 15k. Or if you have credit cards from other banks with a credit limit of at least 15k existing for a year . . . also if you have a Metrobank account with substantial balance . . . just pm me!

I received a AMEX card from BDO and I decided not to use it kasi wala naman ako purchases masyado abroad tsaka many establishments do not accept AMEX cards. I called their call center 3 months ago and pina-cancel ko na. Although cute yung card,I kept na lang.

I will be sending a letter to RCBC nalang sis through my lawyer para lang documented.. It will be a simple letter lang about the cancellation.

Medyo OA pero wala naman mawawala if i'll do it.

@bhabes_hots

I receive my billing statements online too. For me, isa ito sa most convenient services ng BDO, next to online banking. Re: security, before you can open your bill (pdf), you will have to key-in the last 6 digits of your card, so safe pa din sya for me.

Apply your CC sa online banking if your bank offers. Ako I applied it  1 year ago sa BDO Online banking. I also experienced the same way at narereceive ko 2 weeks late yung billing ko (musta naman yun?). BUti alam ko yung due date ng CC ko kaya I was able to pay on time.  Now, I just check it online if my transactions are correct + fraud transactions na din. I always check my cc from time to time. :-)

I receive my monthly SOA via email too. Always on time  :). Always late nga yong hard copy. Most of the time bayad na ako bago pa dumating sa office yong soa.

@nicola_juliano

Agree, laking tulong yung text acknowledgement from cc usage. How's citibank's text notification na? I cut my citibank long before, when they started having the text transaction it was inconsistent, may time meron may time wala, and almost always delay yung text. So far the best one i tried is from Standard chartered, just few seconds upon usage you get text notification right away.

Hi sis cody makikisagit ha :)

Re citibank, i dont get text notification for my transactions but what i always get on time is text confirmation of my payment. Which is good :)

@mommycute
I have the habit of not waiting for the soa. I always check it online and make sure to pay it the following week agad yung transactions. I usually use card kasi i feel more safe than carrying cash with me. So pagdating ng soa like you sis bayad na ako usually 2 weeks before pa lang ng before the cut off bayad na ako in full :)

^ waley ako cc ng citibank. I just know their feature dati nung nakiswipe ako sa friend ko nung nag-emergency booking ako dati from Palawan and my CC that time is full na. Then my friend texted me asap to confrim she received a text message amounting to Pesoses. Which is really good!

I am bit concerned sa online banking ng BPI because they do not send any codes when signing in. Unlike BDO, it sent codes to your mobile number when signing in.

I think as a CC holder, it is our main responsibility na tandaan our expenses din and due dates para iwas sa penalty ng late payments.
