Elysium

I Had Been Deciding Between: The movie line-up this week is pretty disappointing. I had high hopes for Elysium though.

What Made Me Watch This: The plot. Reminded me of the YA dystopian novels that I've liked.

My Thoughts:

I liked everything about this film... except Frey and the ending. I hated the fact that she merely sort of dismissed Max's feelings and their promise. I would've loved to know more of her back story. As for the ending, I feel like it was really unfair. I know I've been rooting for Max (and the poor people back on Earth) throughout the entire film, but the ending made me feel highly unsettled. What's going to happen to Elysium then? I'm pretty sure there'd be disorder and chaos without a strong and dignified leader... and it's not going to be pretty.

Rating: 9.5/10
Recommend? Yes.
Would I watch it again? On cable, yes.

3 Idiots

It's the best Indian movie for me. Napanood ko sya with subtitle, hindi ko kasi maintindihan yung ibang sinasabi nila.   

All I can say is "All iz well."

Red 2- 10/10 Super cool ng movie na to and super funny din. I watched it in the Cinema kanina late kasi ipalabas yung mga movie dito. There's this one guy na talagang ang lakas ng tawa the whole time parang sya lang ang nanonood, asar lang!

Ang cool ng movie in the sense na puro mga senior citizen sila pero hataw pa rin sa mga action stunts. Umpisa pa lang nakakatawa na. Worth watching!

Olympus Has Fallen- 8/10 kelan ko lang napanood yung White House Down halos may similarity, parang comedy version lang yung white house down. Pero okay naman, kaumay lang yung laging ganon yung story about the president and white house being attack, parang madami na ko napanood na ganon.
