^^^ sa Disneyland, 100hkd lang ticket ng senior; Yung octopus card nila, 70hkd instead na 150hkd tapos konti lang ang bawas sa pamasahe.

@workinmom, may ibang exit ng MTR na walang escalator. Yung lift naman nila kakaiba ang location. Nung nag-exit kami sa TST, grabe ang taas ng inakyat namin, buhat yung stroller ng anak ko. Siguro sanayan lang din.

@mom_c, sa Disneyland at bilihan ng octopus card, di na hinanap ang passport ng father ko. Basta sinabi ko lang na senior citizen. Tinanong ko pa nga kung ipapakita ko pa ang passport nya, wag na daw.

Pinaka mura mag bus I'm not sure about the rate though. But airport to Mongkok is around 30+hkd.

Question po mga sissies! Ive read here that it is cheaper to buy OP/Disneyland tickets sa CTS and I've also read na their website is not updated? So to our sisters na nagpurchase nang OP/Disneyland tickets recently sa CTS, may I know the rate po? Kasi sa ensogo, OP's ticket is P1560/pax, sa OP website is 320HKD approx P1920 depending on the conversion rate and sa CTS site, it's 240HKD, approx P1440. Thanks po much! We'll be going first week of Nov.

430HKD ang Disneyland ticket sa CTS. Hindi ako sa CTS bumili, sa Disneyland mismo kasi credit card ang mode of payment na ginamit ko. Sa CTS at GC kasi cash lang tapos wala discount ang senior citizen. Sorry, wala ako idea sa OP.

My daughter and I flew to HKG last Sunday on board PR318. The newly renovated Mabuhay Lounge at T2 is a whole lot better than the cold interiors of the previous setup. Warm and elegant decor, Macs to use, modern shelving with travel literature and tons of charging ports all over the area. There are now different buffet areas, one for hot meals, another for desserts, and another for drinks.

PAL's new A321 is a bit longer than their older A320s and A319s,  with Mabuhay Class, Premium Economy and Economy Classes. There is no IFE on this particular aircraft so we were offered iPads by the crew for free to use but my daughter and I declined.

Upon arrival, service at Regal Airport Hotel was swift and efficient. Bought a tourist travel pass for me and a child octopus for my kid. Took her to the space museum, Avenue of the Stars and did shopping at Elements at Kowloon station. Be advised, the weather right now is still hot, with some rains in the afternoon.

2nd day was Citygate and Ocean Park day. D Superior some shopping at Samsonite, Coach and Fortress. Weather was super hot!! Good thing I brought an umbrella with me.

Even if I've been to HKG so many times, I cannot get over how they push and shove and one girl even sneezed directly on my arm. So disgusting but even if you react, Deadma lang sila. Sayang ang Kaputian and porma nila. No They wonder madaling ma infect ng SARS and bird flu there and mainland. They love cutting into lines, too. Generalization, I know. But it does happen most of the time. Ika nga, money cannot buy you class.  So, like I said before, I will never set foot into OP ever again.  =)  Wish lang kasi of my daughter.

Had a slow morning yesterday . had breakfast at the arrival hall, which is just within walking distance from the hotel. Hubby had a working flt so we were left behind and took the afternoon flt instead. Next stop, Seoul in autumn. Looking forward to the change of weather!

workinmom, RE: Strollers, yes nahirapan kami. There are MTR exits na walang lift at walang escalator. Kaya nagkaka-S baby namin noon kasi kailangan namin gisingin to take him out of the stroller para kargahin.

Yes, I know. But I usually encounter them doing the unsightly activities when I am in HKG. I was in Beijing a few months back, nothing majorly gross happened naman. I've read articles about it, that those from the mainland have money now and are able to travel more but everyone's complaining about how they are around people.

Well, HKG Is Asia's world city so it's understandable all sorts of people would converge there.

Thanks much Sis Bratty and Sis Heatherette. We'll try Golden Crown for the tickets. sa Air bnb kami nakakuha nang apt. We're 2 families kasi and we were able to get a 2 bedroom apt for approx 5k a night. Better compared kng maghostel kami atleast we have the whole apt to ourselves. Around Mongkok area din yata yun.
