Can I also purchase discounted DL tickets at the hostels/hotels even if I'm not checked in there or dapat nakacheckin ako sa kanila? Free entrance din ba talaga the kids who are below 3 at DL?

^I didn't checked sis. Ang na-checked ko lang prices ng CTS airport sa GC. Sa CTS airport kasi kami bumili ng DL tickets and Madam Tussauds + Tram + Sky Terrace

^HKD375 lang ang adult rate for DL at GC? Kasi I saw in one of the uploaded hotel photos on tripadvisor that it's HKD410 per adult. So mas mura pa pala sya doon?

workinmom, I've always booked our hotel via agoda. Just today, I booked Ovolo Hotel 286 Queen's Road Central for my Sep 6-8 stay. Nakakatuwa kasi on top of their 20% discount, nakatipid ako ng another 65 SGD from the points I earned just by booking thru them and by submitting a feedback. Net na ang rates na iyon. All of the hotels nga lang in HK (or maybe majority) require a deposit (2,000 HKD ata iyong last time namin sa Marco Polo HK, Imperial Hotel, and BP International) upon check in. They will refund it to you upon check out.

^pano their pricing kasi diba nakapost the rate tapos in small print may nakalagay na hotel service charge of 10% n den below it, early booking discount of 25%. So let's say the hotel rate is P5000 + 10% (P500) - 25% (1,375) = P4125 na lang or dun sa nakapost na rate e nadeduct na the early booking discount? Pag nabook thru agoda rin ba, i can pay na thru CC the dp?

workinmom, rates shown are inclusive of the discount na. Pero mag add ka pa ng 10% service charge. Example etong nabook ko sa Ovolo. Sa website it says SGD 202 per night (inclusive of 20% early booking discount with Breakfast). So for 2 nights that would be SGD 404. Plus 10% service charge so that would be SGD 444. Pero may Agoda Rewards ako na SGD65 kaya total rate ko for 2 nights was SGD379. For the deposit upon check in, you may use your credit card (but use the one that you used to book the room) or in cash.

^ GC - Golden Crown. A popular lodging option in TST.

CTS - China Travel Service (yata, hehe). A travel agency.

Madalas sila nababanggit dito kasi they sell discounted tickets for attractions in HK.

^ haven't tried asiatravel nor booking.com. but I've used agoda many times na. Madami-dami na din ako points na-redeem sa Agoda.

For HK, some hostels are not listed in Agoda, so sometimes if you have a shortlist of lodging options, it's good to also contact the hostel/hotel directly so you can compare the rates and the inclusions.

sa mga sis natin travelling with kids, since may powdered milk na dala doon na ba sa red channel kayo dumadaan?

and nililipat niyo ba ng container yung milk? my daughter's milk kasi e nasa box na may 2 foil packs inside. dapat ko ba ilagay sa container or as is ok na?

What I did is I removed it from the box tapos nilipat ko siya sa clear portable storage box. then may baon akong
clip (yung sa damit, sipit) para hindi maging messy kung may matira man sa foil.
