sa saturday na hk trip namin. ask ko lang mga sis kung ano nasa weather forecast ng hk, ganon talaga weather pagdating don? mainly cloudy with showers kasi forecast sa sat to monday.

i'm not sure if this info is useful  Sept 20 is a holiday. a day after ng Mid Autumn festival. may pupuntahan kasi akong office during our stay there kaya i was asking before kung holiday ba yung Mid Autumn.

we will be in HK sa Nov 17 to 21...ask ko naman, i want to stay at disney hotelpag nag disneyland kami kasi...kelan ko kaya maganda ilagay ang disneyland tour...

nov 17 arrive namin 10am

Nov 21 depart kami ng 7pm pa..


balak ko kasi since lilipat kami hotel...mas ok ba kung nov 17,18,19 sa other hotel, then nov 20,21 sa disney hotel....para 2 days namin maikot dineyland...

pede namn iwan gamit pag naka check out na ng hotel diba?

Hi! We're planning our first HK family trip and since it'll be our first out of the country trip as a family, I was just wondering which would turn out cheaper and more practical for us, to book thru a travel agent or to go on a DIY trip? If the former, which travel agencies do you guys suggest I check out and if the latter, wouldn't it be difficult for us since we'd be travelling with our two kids, a 7yr old and a 2yr old. Also which affordable hotels are okay to stay at either along Canton/Nathan or somewhere near those areas. Thanks very much!

^Definitely cheaper ang DIY. I tried DIY and agency, malaking tipid pag DIY. Sa agency kasi kasama mga tours na di mo naman kelangan talaga puntahan unlike sa DIY, hawak niyo schedule niyo at mapupuntahan niyo lahat ng gusto niyo mapuntahan without time constraints.

^ah really? Concern din kasi namin ang airport transfers and all. Di kaya mahirap n magastos or madali lang coz of the MTR? Mahal ba if magtaxi?

Taxi would cost around 200+hkd.

^Mas Mahal sis pag train. from airport to kowloon station nasa 100hkd/per person.
not counting pa the other stops.

Another option would be the bus, 33hkd per person. Hindi ko lang alam kung may discount ang bata.

I got my octopus card sa MTR station mismo.

I'll be back in HK next week. Sep 6-8. I'll be booking my hotel at Butterfly on Morrison. Maiba naman. Sa TST area kasi ako palagi. I hope this hotel at Causeway Bay ay OK. Mixed reviews (as usual) sa agoda kasi. I hope it'll be worth the money.

We just got back last night from our HK trip. Our hotel was ok but didn't like the location. Kahit nakakapagod ang weather, ang may bitbit na 9-mo old baby boy with no yaya, eh very happy naman esp with my purchases mega shopping at my fave stores. Si hubby naman bought me a matching LV bag and purse on impulse. Malaki kasi ang kasalanan Niya sakin lol

Anyway, on our next trip we will definitely book a hotel at TST instead and go during early/late winter season. Also, will never fly on a budget airline, so inconvenient if traveling with a baby.

Mahal talaga taxi sa kanila. As much as possible, use the MTR or buses.

Dun pala sa hindi maka-book sa GC or New Yiu Fai, check niyo rin Hao's Inn. May friend ako dyan nag-stay, si Raymond din may-ari ng place. Same building as GC and New Yiu Fai.

Thanks guys! So bus from the airport then MTR to travel around town. Safe ba magbook through mga agoda/asiatravel and the like? May real-time reservation confirmation sa booking site na ganon?
