Pwede po bang baptismal certificate na lang ang gamitin instead of NSO birth certificate sa pagkuha ng marriage license? May problema kasi ang partner ko sa b.c niya e.

Hello everyone! Sa mga sis naten na nakagraduate na sa preps, ask ko lang kung napush through niyo ba yung pagpapaasikaso ng marriage license sa iba or sa representative? Ofw bride kasi ako & isa sa mga worries ko ay limited time lang meron ako before the wedding. Thank you!

hello sis @marcee7! pwedeng ipalit ang baptismal cert. nakalagay naman yan sa requirements pagkuha ng marriage license. "in absence of birth cert, baptismal cert may be submitted"... sa case ko, dala ko pareho nung nag-apply kami ng license. una ko pinakita yung birth cert ko. tapos sinabi ko na may clerical error. mali spelling ng surname ko. tatanungin daw nila kung paano. tapos kinuha nila baptismal for back up daw. nung release na after 10 days , sinabi sa akin na baptismal ang kinuha nila. tapos pinayuhan ako na ipaayos para makapa-abroad daw ako. hehe..

Hi ladies.. since my h2b is an ofw, kelangan pa ba nya ng cedula (since they're exempt naman sa mga income tax)? if not, is this something i can get on his behalf? TY!

Hi! I'm confused kung saan dapat mag-file ng marriage license. H2B and I will get married in Cavite (dito kami titira after wedding). But we are both living in Caloocan. Saan ba dapat kumuha? Sabi ng officemate ko, anywhere in philippines naman daw. I just wanna be sure. Malapit na kasi...

^ Yup, agree. Sa mandaluyong nakatira asawa ko while sa valenzuela ako. Pero sa Manda City Hall kami nag apply ng Marriage License, ginamit ko Valenzuela address ko sa application form.

File kayo kung saan current resident either of the couple. In your case, sa Caloocan kayo mag-apply for marriage license. Ibang Civil Registries, one of the requirements ang barangay clearance to prove na resident isa sa inyo dun sa city na nagapply kayo.

Once issued, valid gamitin ang marriage license issued in Caloocan anywhere in the Philppines for 120 days from issuing date.

We already have our marriage license issued in QC and we wanted to get married in Makati City. How do we proceed?

^Not an issue, our Marriage License was Caloocan issued, we got married in Cavite.

Saan or anong office sa City Hall kame dapat magpunta to get a judge who will officiate the wedding?
