Nakakuha na kasi kami and intayin ko lang mag 6mons next month para makuha ko yung cenomar para makapag pass na kami ng ibang mga requirement para marriage license na lang.

^ ^^ Yes sissies, yung ginamit ko kasi sa marriage license namin last year mga 2 years or so nang nasa akin. Yun din yung ginagamit ko noon (photocopy) sa mga requirements like philhealth, etc.

Mga sis question tama ba ang count ko, since overseas kasi si h2b, october 10 ang wedding namin pwede na kami kumuha nung mga may 6 mons validity ng april 10?
Kasi ipapakisuyo ko lang sa sister nya yung baptismal ang confirmation nya.

Kailangan ba ng Cedula? Meron kaseng mga munisipyo na nakalagay dapat meron tapos may iba na ok lang daw na wala.. Hope someone can clarify. TIA!

Ang alam ko po sis, birth cert has no expiration  but yung baptismal and confirmation has..kasi yun meron kang notation na for marriage purposes. Also cenomar, has 6 months validity.

2 months before wedding hindi pa kami nakakaapply ng marriage license... wala pa din kumpil si H2b deh pa kami bumabalik ng simabahan eh ang sabi dun bumalik after 2 months. naku pano na?

Sis mija0126 baka pwede sa ibang simbahan magpa binyag si h2b mo? kasi yung marriage license, 10 days mo pa makukuha after mo mag apply.. and you have to attend pa yung family planning before you can even get it.

2 months before wedding hindi pa kami nakakaapply ng marriage license... wala pa din kumpil si H2b deh pa kami bumabalik ng simabahan eh ang sabi dun bumalik after 2 months. naku pano na?

^tama si sis tiffany24 unahin nyo yung marriage license kasi after 10 days pa yun makukuha upon application. dapat pagbalik nyo ng church complete na din requirements for church wedding para hindi kayo magahol sa oras saka may pre-cana pa at canonical interview pa. kung hindi pa nakumpilan si h2b mo kahit dun na lang din sa church kung saan kayo ikakasal ganun ginawa namin ni husband nuon.

Marriage Advice

Walang kinalamang ang wedding banns sa parental advice/marriage advice. required ang marriage advice for parties who are between the age of 21-25. Kung wala kayo nito, 3 months pa ang hihintayin bago ma-issue ang marriage license. Kailangan gumawa kayong dalawa (bride and groom) ng affidavit na nakalagay yung edad ninyo at humingi kayo ng parental advice. tapos i-attach ninyo kung ano yung parental advice (written and signed by the parent/s) ng mga magulang ninyo. na alam nilang gusto ninyong maikasal at sang-ayon sila sa balak ninyong maikasal.

Iba pa yung wedding banns, simbahan ang mag-iissue ng wedding banns. Hindi matutuloy ang kasal sa simbahan kung walang wedding banns.

aside from the documents that you mentioned, kailangan mo mag-undergo ng pre-marriage seminar sa munisipyo kung saan kayo mag-aapply ng marriage license. hindi i-rerelease ang marriage license kung walang certificate of attendance sa pre-marriage seminar.

PARENTAL ADVICE

The rule on parental advice is found under Article 15 of the Family Code. It states that any contracting party between the age of twenty-one and twenty-five shall be obliged to ask their parents or guardian for advice upon the intended marriage. If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor.

A sworn statement by the contracting parties to the effect that such advice has been sought, together with the written advice given, if any, shall be attached to the application for marriage license. Should the parents or guardian refuse to give any advice, this fact shall be stated in the sworn statement.

However, if the marriage license is issued within the said three months and the parties were able to get married on the basis of such marriage license, the said marriage is completely valid but will subject the parties to civil, criminal or administrative liabilities in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 3 of the Family Code of the Philippines which states that:

“An irregularity in the formal requisites shall not affect the validity of the marriage but the party or parties responsible for the irregularity shall be civilly, criminally and administratively liable.”

^as far as I know sis, dito lang sa Pinas pwede mag-apply ng marriage license, kahit saang municipality sa Pinas pwede ka mag-apply.

^Naku sis yung pre-cana kasi requirement yun nung church bago ka makapag-schedule nun need mo magpass muna ng marriage license. Kasi kami nagpablock ng wedding date sa church around September 2014 then pinabalik kami after 2 months mga November yun dun na kami nagsubmit ng requirements namin for church wedding may checklist na binigay yung staff sa parish office dapat ma-complete yun siguro mga a month before the wedding. Nung nagsubmit kami ng requirements saka lang kami nakapagsched ng canonical interview at pre cana. Depende sa church nyo sis kasi yung iba one year before wedding date nagpapareserve na sila to block off the date. Tapos may wedding banns pa sa kanya kanyang parishes ni h2b at b2b.

mga sis dumating na yung cenomar namin kaya lang mali yung place kung saan ako pinanganak. magkakaproblema kaya yun? o pabago ko na. dec 17 2015 date ng wedding ko. plano ko na sana iapply ng wedding license kahit mali yung place.

Mga sis im overseas bride.what i did for the license is nagpakuha ako sa ng form sa pinas,they gave 4coppies,then they send it to me here in canada thru lbc,then i signed it and dinala ko sa philippine consulate here in vancouver then they signed it too then i send it back to philippines.hope it will help to our fellow bride to be.
