sis as far as i know, dun sa binigay sakin na requirements fro marriage license. either birth or baptismal cert. parang katunayan lang na sya talaga yun. tas wlaa naman ID dun sa reqts. siguro dala nalang kayo 1x1 and 2x2 pic. saka cenomar. yun lang naman mostly ang kailangan

Hi mga sis,

This is for all the brides na overseas ang h2b.. may option pa pala lalo na if ang worry niyo is kulang sa time coz as we all know may 10 days processing time ang ML.. just called qc hall then sinabi ng nakausap ko na we can have our h2b daw to download the form then sulatan na nya yung sa side nya like all his info sign it and go to the phili consulate or embassy sa country nya and have it notarized... after that he can send the form to you.. then u fill up yung side mo like your info and submit it sa cityhall then to follow na lang yung other requirements daw like yung sa seminar etc.. so you dont have to wait for your h2b and count 10 days...

maybe you can check this option sa cityhall niyo...

^yes sis you can get the license after 10 days lang talaga but kahit ikaw na lang kumuha ok lang. you just have to present an ID for identification

Finally! If sa manila city hall kayo.

1. Make sure for 25 and above you have a copy of your NsO [textspeak!], cenomar and valid ID. Dapat original copy ang ipapasa.
2. May schedule ng morning and afternoon.
3. Mga nasa 30 mins lang yung seminar
4. 150 lang ang bayad. Nothing more nothing less.
5. After seminar, submit form sa civil registry then wait for 10days.

Finally done with the pre-marriage counseling and nakapag file na din kami ng application for license. Antay nalang ng ten days, So oct 19, makukuha yung license namin. Konting push nalang sa ibang reqs.

^me sis december 2014 bride. yes nakuha na namin license namin and we'll pass the requirements na this weekend sa church.
bakit sis wala pa yung certificate niyo sa pre-marital counseling? diba usually after ng counseling/seminar binibigay na yun?

^^Ako sis Dec 2014 hindi pa kami nakakakuha license baka next week.  Question lang, kinukuha ba nila yung originial or certified true copy ng birth certificate? o ichecheck lang nila yon? maiuuwi mo parin?

November bride here. Overseas bride din ako. Nag pakuha lang ako ng form sa mama ko then finill-upan ko sa bahay para pag dating namin ni h2b sa city hall submit nalang ng documents. Nag bayad nalang din kami ng P1,500 para hindi na kami mag se-seminar. Then after 10days babalikan nalang ng mama ko yung ML. 

sis blueshoppe, tinanggap naman nila yung birth cert namin kahit photo copy lang.

Hi sis.. san cityhall ka ba.. what u can do is call them.. if taga qc ka i can give yung number ng city hall sa civil registry.. yun nga what u can do is download mo yung marriage license application form then have it notarized sa consul jan tas send mo na dito pa pass mo sa fiance mo..para pag uwi mo di mo na kelangan wait ng 10 days kasi as soon as mapass ng fiance mo yun mag ra run na yung 10 days.. if u want nga call them so lahat ng questions mo masagot nila.. yung nakausap ko kasi na from cityhall yung nagsuggest nun..

Answer: yes. you have to present an original NSO birth certificate.

Lastly, [textspeak!] sa baptismal certificate naman, i did not have the copy of my baptismal certificate so hindi ko din alam kung kelan [textspeak!] date na bininyagan ako. Baka mahirapan yung church na maghanap ng file if kulang yung info na ibibigay ko.

I am assuming the "baptismal certificate" that you referred to pertains to the catholic church. No need to know the exact date when you were baptized. Just approach the parish office then ask for a copy. Although they might ask for the year when you were baptized to help make the search easier.

^sis regarding on your orig  baptismal cert., it depends on the church kung digital na yung records nila. like ako, nung tumawag ako sa church, they only asked for my last  name. i think they searched it on their database, and then they said my fulllname and date of confirmation.. sabi nila punta naalang daw ako dun physically. so yun. try to calll the church first, to check if they are capabla of searching your name a database nila rightaway.

meron na po ba dito na ikinasal sa qc city hall mismo? san po dun ang ceremony? sa office ba ng mayor or sa office ng wedding officiator? paano po ang flow ng program pag ganon?

hello mga sis...ask ko lang since yung marraige license can be used up to 120days, okay lang ba yun if magpre-marraige counseling na kahit 1-2months before ng target wedding date sa church? me & my h2b plans to wed in february 2015 pero this december pa naman uwi nya from saudi...balak ko na sanang i-prepare requirements para makapag-file agad kami...thanks in advance sa makakasagot

^sis kuha ka muna ng requirements dun sa cityhall na pagkukunan mo ng marriage license. (usually personal appearance/birth cert/id pics/fathers consent if 18-21 yo/cert of pre marraige counseling/NSO cenomar/freedom to marry if OFW). and yes 120 days validity nito. kung feb kayo magpapakasal., pasok na sa 120 days, and pang 120 days from today is approx feb 14... so siguro sis handa mo na yung mga NSO copy ng birthcert & cenomar, get copies of your baptismal cert na may annotation na for marriage purpose.. mag ask ka na din ng schedule nung pre cana sa parish nyo.. mga ganun

 in my case, requirement yung pre marriage counselling bago makuha ang marriage license.

Buti na lang din dito sa amin sa Cabanatuan, madali lang mag-apply for marriage license. 5 minutes lang yata kami nagtagal sa City Hall.

1. Fill up Application Form
2. Pay 190php
3. Submit AF, Cenomar and Cedula
4. Attend the Seminar

Hindi pa kami nakaattend ng seminar pero basta daw dapat matapos namin before the release date, which is 10 days after our application date.

^baka you can ask somebody to do it for you... a relative in the province, perhaps. tapos i-LBC na lang sayo.
