Looking for a RABEANCO thread but didn't find any. So there.

I'm getting bag obsessed again lately and I keep on visiting Rabeanco Trinoma every time I'm there. I'm eyeing this BONHAM bag. I like the way it slouches and the smell of the leather is just, divine. 

It's quite pricey though, parang 13k yata or something, so I'm still convincing myself to get one.

So the question is, is it worth it, to splurge a little on a rabeanco bag? Quality wise and all. Your thoughts mga sis.

I visited the store in Langham place in Mongkok and their bags are definitely yummy! I like that they are subtle and is all leather. I didn't buy one and don't own one as of the moment so I can't say anything about quality and durability.

If you can afford it, go for it

^I adore Rabeanco bags simply because theirs are buttery to touch.  I love them because theirs are pure leather at more affordable prices than those with names (Read: LV, Chanel, etc).

I currently use my Leighton bag in purple that I adore.

But instead of the short handle, I use the long one to let my bag fall on my waist length.

Got my first Rabeanco bag sa HK last April, sa Hankow St. na store. Naka-sale. I got the Fabia tote in plum (weakness ko ang totes talaga..). My MIL naman got the Flavia crossbody in green tsaka Rosa II tote in red. Binigyan pa sya freebie na cosmetic leather pouch.

I like their leather din. Tapos me understated elegance yung designs nila.

Got my Rabeanco bags ages ago at Hankow, even before the Langham store.  These are the most durable bags, ever.  Short of shooting it, it just doesn't die.  I have used these under extreme circumstances: Bali, extended hospital stays, Cambodia, etc --  where the bags sure gt bugbog. 

My only complaint is:  these are heavy. 

But as to long-term durability, ok.  And the colors stay "true".  I have purple, yellow, royal blue and tangerine.
Hindi rin kapitin ng dirt and seems to not absorb other colors.

I better go see where my old ones are.  ).

I love their plain hobos.  Sana lang they don't copy the styles of famous "IT" bags so much, sometimes it's veering on knock-off category na.  Especially their bag which looks like the PS1.

but i also agree with you sis. they have bags nga na super hawig na. actually the bonham's shape reminds me of the Pandora, but not quite naman, so i dunno if it's just me or what.

^Naligaw din ako sa store na ito sa Langham. Ang ganda ng bags nila. I love the leather parang ang lambot. Hindi lang carry ng budget ko.

hello mga sis.  i had a rabeanco bag 15 years ago pa yata.  sa HK cya.  it was so stylish and long lasting.  definitely worth it. binabalik balikan ko until the strap's leather got scraped off na.  first time that i used a bag till it went dead.    hindi nakakasawa. in fairness.  am also thinking of buying the bonham in blue. when do manila stores have sale?  and up to  how many percent do they give? thanks in advance for replies.

I was in the East Wing of Shangri-la Edsa last week and saw this store. I like their bags. Hanggang ganitong price lang ang kaya ng budget at konsyensya ko.   The leather is so soft at amoy na amoy talagang leather.

I don't know what the styles are called. I was eyeing 3, I will go back soon to get one.  Sisi ako kakabili ko lang ng Fino last month sana eto na lang.

Kaya lang I seldom go to Shangrila Edsa, sana magkaron na sila ng branch sa Makati.

went back to rabeanco trinoma last night and super dami na nilang stocks for bonham. torn ako between camel and taupe. hindi pa ako bumili because i bought another bag. now i regret it. 

i promise myself to get it though before the year ends.

^ sis baby_chichay, get at least one Rabeanco to try it out. I am a fan and was so happy when I realized that a store already opened in Trinoma. Being Cebu-based, I have to get out of here to get one so dati sa HK. Also, I can be clumsy at times, so the lambskin types don't work so well for me kasi laging nagkakaron ng scratch, so I always go for others that are non-lambskin types. Hope this helps!

New to rabeanco but so far I'm in love with it - the leather's smell, the buttery feel (I chose the lambskin type), the many compartments. I bought mine in hankow st last week. The stitches do look even, the zippers zip smoothly, and I really like the grommets.  I hope it lasts long.

wanted the bonham talaga but fell in love with marianna's side buckles and belts.

but of course, bonham is next na talaga.

I love my Rabeanco bag.

I got it from HK for around 10k in 2009 and it still looks new. It definitely looks luxurious for the price, and the color is a nice bluish gray, with no hint of fading. I still get compliments for it from time to time my only issue with the bag is that it's heavy so I use it only when I'm not carrying a lot.

Looking forward to my next purchase, but I don't think I'll be going to HK soon. Are the prices in the Rabeanco stores here fair/within the same range as those in HK?
