Ibarra's Garden, Malate

Last Saturday, we had our official food tasting with Ibarra's Garden.
We are happy with their foods kasi mas na-satisfy kami compared nung nag-attend kami ng GFT.
Also, consistent ang lasa ng foods nila. Masarap pa rin talaga and nakaka-busog, as what other say "walang tapon".
Nakakatuwa lang din na yung chef/waiter na nag-assist samin doon is very entertaining. He even gave us suggestions and advises regarding our wedding preps.

We finalize na rin our reservation with our chosen hotel which is City Garden Suites na ka-partner nila. Sure na, booked na ang hotel namin.

Very mabait & accommodating talaga yung AE na napunta samin also the Events Manager na sya mismo ang nag-update ng contract namin.

So far, so good dealing with Ibarra's Garden.

Hi sis iameynjh. Oo nga, tagal na din ng last chikahan natin. Hehe.

Uhm hindi sila nag mock set-up sis. It's just that, may iilan din na kasabay kami nag-food tasting, siguro 5 kami at isa isa kaming kinausap at in-accommodate ng waiter to explain everything about the food. We didn't ask kung meron bang mock set-up na magaganap. Ang alam ko lang is meron pang next meeting for the detailing and pagpili ng cake. Yun nga lang wala pang schedule for that, tingin ko pag ilang months nalang before the wedding yun.

Ay grabe sis, doble pala! Mas maganda naman talaga ang Diamond Hotel. Pero ang prefer kasi namin is yung lawak ng hotel at kung ilan yung max na matulog sa room. Practically, mas okay talaga CGS.

Since mauuna ka sakin mag-detailing, balitaan mo ko sis kung pwede mag-mock setup ha? Para marequest ko din sa AE ko.

Kung keri naman ng budget nyo sis, why not go for Diamond Hotel. Wala kasi talagang magandang view sa CGS, puro bldg, hahaha! Kung sa CGS ka, pa-book kana kay Ibarra. Pansin namin pag weekend talaga lagi puno ang penthouse nila. Chambahan lang talaga e.

May ganun palang issue si H&B, pero reiterate nalang din sa kanila. Di ako masyado particular sa cake kasi. Haha! Kaya kung ano meron, edi yun nalang, tutal free naman sya sa package natin. Hahaha!

Papadagdag lang ako ng flowers sa reception sis. Pero di pa ko nakakapili ng florist. May na-shortlist na pero di pa kami nag-go. Ikaw ba sis meron na?

I've been having difficulty communicating with our new AE. Our previous AE was so great and was a factor in our decision to book the place. She gave us lots of tips, freebies, and the like.

With the new AE assigned to us, we rarely get updates, even updates that I specifically asked for.
I'm not a demanding bride. I just asked from their end of our payment scheme as well as the final food tasting, and when do we have to select our final menu. I asked this to lessen our mistakes and not violate out contract. Para at least, from their end yung schedule na susunduin namin, not just a schedule we derived from counting the days in our contract.
I asked her to send me sa email during our visit there. Day after, wala. I sent her an SMS reminder. No reply. After about 5 days, I sent her an SMS again to remind her. She sent me an email of the brochure you can download sa website. I felt frustrated after that.

Kung keri naman ng budget nyo sis, why not go for Diamond Hotel.

i do not know if it's just us pero di kami natuwa sa Diamond Hotel. Nadidiliman kami sa interior nya. Mas ok pa room ng CGS for us, mas maliwanag.

Hi sis nina, tama si sis iameynjhel. Magpapalit kana ng AE mo kung ganyan na you're uncomfortable with her. Pero you can direct it to Bella Ibarra's Event Manager, i-open mo lahat sa kanya yung concern with your AE and ask her na you wanted other AE who's more efficient na mag-handle ng account mo.

Good deal na nakuha mo kay ClinCarl, sana lang maging maganda ang output nila sa inyo at hindi matulad sa ibang sis natin dito.
Okay naman sakin si Ate Inah, gusto ko nga sya kausap. Nagpa-quote kasi ako sa kanya before. Lahat na, church+entou+reception. As what I've posted sa thread ng dangwa florist, namahalan ako sa quote nya sakin. Kaya bigla ako umatras sa Fullblooms. Maybe I'll try nalang na sabihin sa kanya yung budget namin baka sakaling ma-work out pa.
Nasa shortlist namin si Kitktas Flower Shop.
Mukang madaming DIY yan sis ah, share mo if done na kayo.

Hi sis chloe_kazm, soon-to-be IG bride here. Hindi na kami kukuha ng band/strings, playlist lang kami. Pero I will be having 1 singer and 1 acoustic guitarist. Hindi na yun magre-require ng upgraded sound system. Sabi ng AE namin, nire-require lang nila mag-upgrade kapag may band na kukunin. Naka-ilang punta na kami dun sa IG na may ongoing event, as per our observation, maganda na yung tunog ng basic sound system nila.

Thanks sis pogi02! Ganun na lang din siguro kukunin namin mala-acoustic parang bagay din sa church kasi maliit din which is sa Paco Park Church. December pa wedding ko Ikaw sis? Naaral nyo na kung saan mga parking area? Na-try ko palang is from Robinsons, ok naman distance kaso baka mahiya mga ibang bisita maglakad especially kung naka ayos sila hehe...Saan pa ba ibang areas?

Hindi po ba parang super simple nung venue styling nila? Do I need to get an outside stylist pa? or okay na un? and also, are the moodlights worth the money if ever i-add siya sa package?

Napapareminisce naman ako sa thread na to hehe...we had our reception in Ibarra's garden 13 yrs ago and up to now pag nagkikita kame ng HS friends ko parati nila sinasabi na ang sarap ng food nung wedding namin, di hamak daw mas masarap sa mga kilalang caterers ng weddings na naattend-an nila even up to this day

Up to Ibarra's, sana hindi magbago quality & service nila at a reasonable price. Have a blast on your weddings sisses!

Hi Sis, Villa ibarra bride ako. yung freebies namin hindi sa bridal fair ko naavail during their anniversary. You can also ask them I think baka may matyempuhan ka na ongoing promo nila.

Hi sisses! Newbie here. I'm a Villa Ibarra b2b. Ask lang ako ng feedback ng mga Villa Ibarra brides on their reception and if naghire pa ba sila ng stylist? I checked the FB page ng Villa Ibarra and konti pa lang photos ng reception set-up nila. Dipa din kasi finalized theme namin. Basta si h2b gusto majority royal blue. Nasstress na ako kasi Dec 2016 na wedding namin.

Hi sis KopiOreo16 parehas tayu villa ibarra bride and december 2016  Sa FB page nga nila parang nakukulangan din ako ng pictures and pati na rin sa set up ng reception. im still thinking kung maghihire pa ako ng stylist dagdag sa budget din yun eh and need to check pa kung accredited suppliers nila. We are planning to go home on Sept pa so im just relying on their wedding post sa FB for the meantime until makita namin.

^Advice lang mga sis, if nakukulangan kayo sa posts ng Villa Ibarra regarding their styling, you can ask for their portfolio. Tell them na gusto nyo pa makita more of their reception set-up. Ganun kasi ginawa ko when I went back to Ibarra's Garden. And we found out na simple lang talaga sila mag-set up. But I found online some of Villa Ibarra's set-up, I can say na mas okay sila mag-set up dun compared sa ibang branches nila.

^^ Sis, you could try Plaza Ibarra. Friendly ang AEs. I first talked to Rainier at the bridal fair and booked on the spot. Then h2b and I went last week at Plaza Ibarra and Resiel was the one assigned to handle our account. They were accommodating and answered all our specific queries. Though honestly, we're having second thoughts at the place. But nevertheless, AEs were nice and accommodating

Thanks sis, hubby and I liked ibarras kasi all in package siya sulit e. Church kasi namin baka Ermita Church or Malate Churc and Ibarras Garden yung closest. Turn off talaga kami ni hubby dun sa AE na Jetca at Ibarras. And Im hoping sana na di na lang siya yung napunta sa amin when we inquired.

We inquired in Plaza Ibarra ganda din ng place nila and accomodating yung mga AEs.

We are still looking though for an indoor garden venue for our reception in Manila.
