Orange Is the New Black revolves around Piper Chapman, a woman from Connecticut, living in New York City who is sent to the women's Litchfield, NY federal prison for possessing a suitcase full of drug money for Alex Vause, an international drug smuggler and Chapman's one-time lover. Sentenced to serve a fifteen-month sentence, Chapman must survive the hardships of prison life, and she may have to be a different person to do so.

Totally great show, overall. Fell in love with it right away.  So well-written, good ensemble casting. My fave character is Crazy Eyes.

So glad this show is moving on with the second season. I was thinking it'll be short-lived coz Piper's sentence is only for 10 months....but...things happened (won't spoil).

Just one episode for Alex for Season 2. I wonder how the show will carry out her absence? Prison transfer?

Yeap prison transfer from what i read bummed out when I read it on the news--darn Scientology. Cliffhanger yung last ep I thoroughly enjoyed this show. This is a series tie-in, the book i think became a best seller and got picked up.

Nakahabol din ako dito!  I love this show!  Hindi siya nakakaumay panoorin.  I feel for Piper talaga.  Can't wait for the next season.  Ano kaya ang mangyayari kay Doggerty, napatay kaya ni Piper or sobrang nabugbog niya ito ng husto?

I used to like Sam during the first few episodes kaya lang parang he turned against Piper din.  I think this was around the time when he did not listen to Piper's suggestion to open the track and field so Pipes had to tell it to one of the female guards who told Mr. Caputo na nagustuhan naman ni Fig dahil they can save more in doing that (Pero yun pala, increasan ang budget ng prison at lahat ng iyon ay napunta kay Fig -- she is driving a Mercedes).  Natuwa ako doon sa season finale kasi si Norma eh maganda pala ang boses at hindi pala siya mute.  My favorite characters are from the ghetto section of the prison - Crazy Eyes, Poussey, Taystee, Sophia (ang ganda niyang tranny ha?), at si Janae.

Confirmed na pala talaga yung news na konti na lang ang scenes ni Alex sa second season.  Naman!  I am missing Miss Claudette na nga as it is.  And Trish, so sad what happened to her.

I'm currently watching Episode 11 of Season 1 and I am hooked! Just wondering how many seasons they can stretch this show since Chapman's sentence is only for 15 months.

Naawa ako kay Crazy Eyes when Larry spilled their individual stories via radio. Parang he's using Piper's misery for his own path to fame.

^ that's good to hear! i love this show very much. although minsan banas ako kay Piper. grabe ang mga character dito. they are all effective actors lalo na si crazy eyes. gosh, who wouldve thought ala michelle obama siya in real life.

Finished Season 2 last Sunday. Fantastic ending. Piper is no longer doe-eyed like the first time, which I kind of miss. Her story, somehow, took only half the storyline this season. But I love the new character they introduced. Pure evil. I also like that there's a bigger story with the prison staff. Crazy Eyes is as crazy as ever. Next year ulit for Season 3!
