DIY Waxing

I used to love "Strip It Sugar Wax" pero recently, I noticed na hindi na siya nakakapit sa hairs ko unlike before and it's not as sticky and it's a bit watery na. Parang nag.iba ang formulation, or maybe it's just my seller..

Mga sis what brand do you use (preferably cold wax)? pa.recommend naman po Any suggestions are welcome. Hot wax can do as well if you think it's best for you

I choose not to do it lang sa salon because I'm saving money

hello sis ako bumili naman ako nung Epilin sa Watsons. pero di ko pa na-try eh.. kaso hot wax yun. hehe.. baka bukas itry ko na.. natatakot kasi ako eh.. haha

Bumili ako ng "Strip It" para mag DIY na alng din ako,kaya lang ang hirap pag ako lang mag wax di naman alam ng hubby ko pano..kaya ang ending nagpa wax na lang din ako..doble gastos tuloy

Ako din, Epilin ginagamit ko dati. But I stopped using it and decided to try the diode laser for my UA. Done with 7 sessions pero meron pa rn. Waste of money. medyo na less-en sya compared before. Eversince, nag shashave nalang ako.

Pero curious ako sa Veet wax strips. Try ko yan.

Effective sya. Apply ka muna ng baby powder para d dumikit sa skin mo. Medyo sticky kasi yun. Tapos wag super mainit, mapapaso yung skin mo. Yung kaya mo lang itolerate. Kuha ka ng wax using the stick tapos iblow mo para warm lang.

I suggest watch a video in youtube muna (sana meron) para meron ka guide.

Dati kasi sa salon ako nagpapa wax. So alam ko na kung pano. Masakit sya, pero sanayan lang din. Tiis ganda lang. Hehe

im using honey way nakalagay sa jar. hindi na kailangang initin. spread mo lang then ilalagay yung cloth.

Advil an hour before waxing then a towel to bite on for the "pull" moment.

Sis epilin din akin from watsons! Hindi ko lang matandaan name before.. Grabe pag first time ang hirap hehe nung kasi nagdikitan lahat sa kamay ko, dapat pala may powder! Haha tapos last ko na ginawa yan, nasobrahan ko ang pagtagal sa stove, nagapoy tapos nalaglag ko, haggard! Hehe ayoko na nyan.. Wanna try also yung veet

ahh I saw epilin sa watsons mga sis but takot talaga ako sa hot wax.. takot ako mag.burns.. how do I know if it's just the right kind of "hot" for me?

swerte mo hiyang ka sa veet strips, I used that noon but nag.allergy ako sa wax (nagred bumps every time i use it and I dont like the smell). in fairness natanggal talaga yung strips, kaso allergic ako.

walang cold wax ba mga sisses? aside from veet. di keri ko yung baho kase, but performance wise, gujab siya. and I keep running out of the wipes-thing!!!

Nanny rose okay sakin..

Nakuha ko na yung tamang temperature.. Nilalagay ko kasi sa room ko na nakaaircon kaya namamaintain yung pagkahard ng wax.. Dati kasi iniwan ko sa banyo eh mejo mainit dun naging runny..

Pag gagamitin ko na siya ii it ko sa microcwave for 5 seconds with the lid still on it tapos 5 seconds pag tinanggal ko yung lid.. Sakto lang siya, not too thick not too runny din..and very easy to spread..

Tried veet wax before but hindi ko makuha lahat ng hairs..

i-blow mo lang pag too hot na. Ako I get a certain amount of the wax using the stick tapos habang iniikot ko sya, blow ko lang hanggang magwarm.

mga sis diba sabi dun sa Epilin manual, na gamitin lang yung kailangan.. hmm diba marami siya so hahatiin ko na lang parang ganun? hihi.. sorry first time eh

@babbledoll Ako kasi yung lalagyan na nya mismo iniinit ko sa stove /candle namin. Ok naman sya. Then pag hindi naubos, itatago ko nalang ulit.

I haven't tried hot wax.. StripIt tsaka yung sa Milea palang.. Ayaw ko rin ng hot wax.
