^rm1015 I completely agree. Super arte yung 2k and it wasnt even cute. Hehe. Kuripot ako for this item since it's not really that important to me... but i didnt really think kasi na ganun yung mahahanap ko.
Worst case i will DIY it! Hahaha

May kanita ako sa olx yung loft ang name,  sabi 650 daw ang initial quote nila.
Since i know that this is just a kaartehan, I replied saying if they Make it at 500php.

Might skip this altogether---actually my fiance and I want to skip the cake altogether or do something radically different. Hehe still thinking! I do not think a small cake with only bottom edible is worth 7-8k much more the bigger cakes.

Ang gusto ko talaga, no more cake and topper!! Haha but ok fine i need to replace it with something else. I might go radical on this, we'll see. With the same or less budget i can whip up something more unique and worth it.

^mamey We really don't want to serve the 'cake' or whatever form it will be to guests rin eh, kasi usually di naman kinakain. The guests will have enough desserts from the dessert bar.
Plus, serving them to guests will mean i have to produce something bigger for it to be enough hehe. All the weddings i attend the cake is no longer served to guests and di rin naman namin gusto mabigyan nun hehe.

Lets see, i need more time to research. Kinda excited to come up with something unique and cheaper. At worst if wala i will still do a clean, small all-white cake, minimalistic design and with no toppers.

Hey guys, can anyone recommend affordable but still great looking caketoppers like these? We're not into the normal 3 or 5 tier wedding cake. I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this, but did you consider the lighting effect in choosing the color of the cake?

If you opted to have the cake in white color, obviously, the light supplier will have more freedom to play with color, rather that having a colored cake, wherein the light supplier might just put on a white light on it....

^ we didn't consider this because i just wanted a pretty white cake. in your case, will there be a designated spotlight for the wedding cake during the entire reception? hindi ba matutunaw yun sa init? or you're just considering the lighting when its time to "slice the cake" part of the program? parang marian and dingdong ba ito?

I don't think there will be a designated spotlight on the cake, but the light supplier did mention that light will have an effect on the color of the cake. I wanted a colorful/livelier cake sana.. Haha!! Not like dingdong and marian at all

I might end up with white or light pink instead hehe

I've been posting before how i find it ridiculous to be quoted 2-3k for a cake topper. So i decided on a cake design without one and we fell in love with it na. Ordered the cake na.
Plot twist: FMIL buys us an expensive looking cake topper... Which we will now have to use and incorporate... Ugh! Guess my fiance forgot to be vocal about this one hehe
