Maybe, boring or predictable -- but not necessarily unhappy.

It's nice to have little breaks in our daily scheds kasi that show awareness/connection/appreciation from the one we love.
These don't have to be grand/pricey gestures.  Sincerity & warmth are the better ingredients in such romantic moves.

Not necessarily.

My hubby isn't really naturally romantic (by my definition), but he learned over the years, since he knows that I appreciate even simple romantic gestures. I learned din to manage my expectations (and express appreciation din) since I know na hindi naman nya talaga nature. :)

it depends on the couple. husband ko hindi din romantic (per my definition) :) ako ang mas romantic and mahilig magsurprise by nature and happy na ako na nakikita ko na naappreciate niya yung mga efforts ko :)

niasip ko lang din nung dalaga days ko palagi akong may natatanggap na flowers and sweet nothings. v-day, anniversaries and other occassions. kung kailan nagasawa na ako wala na hahaha sa 6 years kaming kasal once lang ako nakatanggap ng flower arrangement from my husband and talagang hiningi ko pa sa kanya yun  ::) my husband and i would laugh about it kapag napaguusapan namin. tanggap ko na he's not a hearts and flowers type of guy.  palusot pa ng asawa ko masyado daw kasi akong maselan kaya isasama nalang niya ako mamili para sure na magugustuhan ko  :P

Nope. ;D

Romantic gestures for me are necessary to keep the relationship interesting. They dont have to be grand, pero the little things na ineeffortan matter. Minsan yun kase ang nawawala pag matagal na kayo ng partner mo, nagiging kampante na kayo masyado with each other. Para sa akin importante na from time to time, both of you walk the extra mile to make the other feel special and loved.

Hmmm.... yes.. it makes me feel special. Pero dati ang romantic gestures sa'kin would only mean flowers, chocolates, hatid sundo araw-araw, weekly movie and dinner dates.

For some, being friends with the important persons in your life is already romantic. I guess it depends on how you appreciate things. Ako sa ngayon I really find it romantic everytime my partner visits sa bahay and cooks something for me. Even the paggogrocery part namin together i think is romantic. Tapos minsan he would invite my Ate to join us pag kakain kame sa labas.

for me, it depends whatever floats your boat. Preference lang yan and it also depends on the kind of relationship that you want to have. But of course, if you want a romantic relationship, edi syempre, romantic gestures are necessary talaga.

Before, I used to think that romantic gestures are defined by gifts showered, time spent, and of course the stuff I watch in movies etcetera. But I learned a lot when I learned about the different LOVE LANGUAGES. And after knowing my love language and my partner's, I learned to appreciate the things that they do for me more. Kunwari, minsan akala ko hindi romantic yun for me, yun pala yun na yun pinakaromantic na gesture for him. It's quite easy to understand naman, igoogle nyo na lang mga sis it helped me understand and appreciate the people around me more, hindi lang si boyfie. More importantly, alam ko rin paano yun proper way to reciprocate the loving gestures they show me, lalo na si SO :)

Sa'kin oo. Gusto ko yung constantly ako pinapakitaan ng effort, like wait for me after work para kahit saglit e magkita kami, make little surprises, do/give me things na nabanggit kong gusto ko. Haha.

Pero ayon. Yung current bf ko di romantic or malambing. He's practical kasi and prefer things that are convenient. *puffs*

It depends on the people in the relationship.  May mga taong big deal sa kanila ang romantic gestures and must-have ito for them.  Then there are some people na okay lang sa kanila kahit walang sweet moments or hindi talaga sila affectionate.  It doesn't necessarily mean na they don't love each other or that they're unhappy.

For me, I don't think it would hurt to be malambing.  I think it would even help make the relationship better if both people were affectionate with each other, helps show one another how much you love and appreciate each other.

By nature, hindi ako malambing, and ilang beses na din ako nabiro kung babae ba talaga ako kasi wala daw akong kalambing-lambing sa sistema ko. But I try and I think yung effort naman is naa-appreciate. Same with the guy, ayaw ko din yung flowery words and such. But such gestures are nice every once in a while. So yeah, I agree that it depends on the people involves.

He would surprise me all the time, although hinde nya yun ginagawa dati at although hinde sya marunong. So tingin ko talaga importante yun.

I am a sucker for over the top romantic surprises and viral worthy affirmations. My fiance is the very humble, private, low key type of guy. But as I write my vows now, I remember that what makes me love my man is because he just loves me consistently through his actions.

He is very busy with his business but I feel like he's always physically and emotionally with me. Despite his sched, he finds time to supervise our home construction and includes details he knows I will love, helping me with the wedding plans, helping me also with my business and sometimes my petty problems hee hee. And consistently, he surprise me in his little ways. =) Like how he always treats my family when we eat out, occasionally surprises me with little things he thinks would look good on me, or how he proposed to me in a grand one of a kind (but private way) and he even put in a secret video cam just because I mentioned before how I'd want one.

Consistency > romantic gestures for me =)
