^sis, I bought my unit just last April. So less than 5 months sya, and I've only really used it about 4 months. Alaga ko yung unit ko (as in may binili pa akong pouch for it) and never nabagsak. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nasira kaagad; kasi from what I've read in the internet, basta nakasaksak hindi sya magccharge pero magagamit mo pa rin yung unit. With mine, nakasaksak na nga, ni ayaw mag-on.

Anyway, baka fluke lang yung sa akin. Pero ingat na rin kayo mga sissies kasi sabi nung seller mas marami talagang complaints at sira ang freestyle (siguro the statistics is also skewed kasi mas marami namang bumibili ng freestyle than PIS/PISA).

Ang moral lesson of the story: bili ng warranty at bili ng back up pump.

^^hala grabe naman and to think freestyle (lalo na yung dual pump) doesn't come cheap... I'm more convinced na bibili ako nung camilre kahit, just in case I decided to buy the freestyle at least may back up ako

^i used unimom and it's okay. no feedback yet from cimilre. spectra din ata yun. i read good reviews on spectra naman.

Sis yung unimom mo yung old no? Kasi yung unimom ko,after 5 to 6months, di na ganon kalakas ang suction, need na yata palitan yung breastkit niya. Buti nalang may medela swing na back up ako, tingin ko mas marami ang output ko sa swing,kasi mas mahigpit at malakas talaga suction compared sa unimom ko.

^yung new din sis. mas okay lang yung swing maxi kasi di mabigat. i had the older model also but it is allegro no forte, but it got destroyed kasi milk went inside. eh out of warranty na and end of life na, kaya waley na. I liked that best. maliit na, mas powerful pa.

^what do you mean sis..pag store ng expressed milk sa office after mag pump? sa office namin may ref sa nursing station.then pauwi may dala akong icepack that i bought online sa babymama.ph.hindi na cooler dala ko.just a small thermal bag and two icepacks. Napupuno ko usually sa office 3to 4 na 4oz avent bottles.once i get home lipat na uli aa ref namin

prettypepz, I store my expressed milk sa cooler bag ko. Kung ano ano kasi laman ng ref namin dito sa office, parang masangsang. Pero I bring extra gel packs, I store those sa ref tas I rotate nalang with the ones in my cooler bag.

Thanks sis shooting_star & bluemargarita for answering. So good na po yung expressed milk na ilagay lang sa cooler bag with ice pack? Kahit hindi na iref? Worried ko kasi din yung sinabi mo sis shooting_star na may iba pang laman yung ref eh.. Hindi naman mapapanis yung milk kung paguwi mo pa ilalagay sa ref sa house or ipapainom kay baby?

Yup, pero yung gel pack is good for siguro less than 8 hours? I have 3 in my bag, tas I have another 3 sa office ref that I rotate in the afternoon.

As soon as I get home, I transfer the milk sa ref. My baby will consume these the following day.

Share ko lang mommies, normally kasi sa kitchen ako nagpapump, kanina naisipan kong magpump sa station ko, open area siya,paminsan minsan may dumadaan, so pasimple akong tumitigil  i started around 9:30, then napuno ko yung lagayan mga almost 11 na yata kasi kakahinto ko.. I find it better compared sa kitchen kasi duon nagmamadali ako,kaya minsan di ko mapuno yung bottle, pero kanina sarap lang sa pakiramdam..

Question po, okay lang naman yun diba? Na same bottle, at pahinto-hinto for more than one hour and milk since ang freshly pumped milk naman can stay sa room temp ng 4 to 8hours..

hi sis coffeeflava, I'm also considering the spectra brand pero I'm still choosing between the s2 and the M1. What I like about the M1 is the portability (lightweight and with rechargeable batt). But the s2 is a hospital grade pump and I'm thinking that it might be more durable than the M1, ALthough transport might be a problem. Mabigat ba sya sis? kasi nagcocommute ako and I plan to bring it home din so that I can pump at home and sa office. Thanks!

hi sisses, just want to ask how soon can you pump after giving birth? may restrictions ba kung kelan pwede? will it matter ba kung NSD ka or CS kung kelan ka pwede magpump?

^they say it is best to pump after the 6th week para established na ang milk supply to avoid oversupply. me i pumped on the 4th week. yes, i am a oversupply due to that i think

san makakabili ng milk storage bags? and if i want to donate milk, where can i go? and should it be frozen when donated?

online sellers offers more affordable milk storage bags but ako i use playtex liners then use an electric sealer to seal the top most portion. i donate frozen milk as the fresh milk stash are for my kids (panganay is 2yo, bunso is 3months). i followed the steps in this blog:

Hi mommies! Just wanted to ask, meron ba dito nag pupump lang exclusively? As in hindi nag pa breastfeed instead nag pump na ever since? Hanggang ilan months nag last milk niyo? Thanks sa mga sasagot!

^meron ng mga ganyang mommies but you have to be keen on pumping schedules like sticking to every 2-3hrs pumping schedule. as much as possible, try mo pa rin ang direct feeding kasi it has more benefits apart from nutrition. may tinatatawag silang "enteromamary pathway" na magiging dependent or custom-made sa need ng baby mo yung milk na pinroduce mo. see link below:

Thanks for the reply sis iristacey! I've been pumping exclusively kasi for four months now since ayaw talaga mag latch ni baby sakin.

^kudos to you mommy micaa for keeping it up. i salute you for going this far even if baby doesnt latch. i read  on forums (international) that they go as far as 18++ months of exclusively pumping by just keeping their pumping schedule and eating lots of galactaggogues.
btw, there are mothers who tried to ditch the bottle and get the help of arugaan to relatch the baby. are you a working mom?
