Croissant Doughnuts

I love croissants, not a fan of donuts. Unfortunately it tasted more like a donut (wildflour) and was soooo geasy!  Bought a box of 4, only shared 1 with my hubby and I gave the rest to my sister.

I tried dropping by dolce latte to try theirs (before I tried wildflour) but you have to order a ahead. They do not have any for sale for walk ins. Pretty stupid. It was 7:30PM and they had boxes put aside for people who "reserved" and they wouldn't sell to me. Hello who is going to pick up pastries past 7:30PM??

Tried Dolce Latte's croughnuts. They have available for walk-ins kaya lang few pieces lang and you have to be there around 3 or 3:30 pm. Our office is nearby lang, we went yesterday around 3:30 pm, they have 5 pcs. available tsaka kung anong flavors lang ang matira. Wala ng Blueberry Cream Cheese yesterday. I ordered Chocolate Valrhona, sarap sya, and it's not too sweet! Swak lang.

Curious pa rin ako to taste Wildflour though, or other croughnuts to compare.

prospect ko pa naman ito sa Wildflour this weekend sana makatyamba pahirapan den pala 2... available na ba ito mga sissy's sa Dunkin Donut?? kasi last 2 weeks nag tatanong na ako niyan wala pa daw..

^ yup, oreo-stuffed croissant sa Wildflour din. Ginaya lang din nila yung idea. Haha gumawa sila version nila, parang nabasa ko somewhere. Meron pa nga, croclair! Croissant-eclair naman, forgot saan nabibili.

@sis purpleish, meron na sa Dunkin Donuts.. sa may Festival Mall ako nakakita last Monday.. sa pagkakatanda ko ay 75 pesos each..

Yup nakita ko ito sa le coeur, kronuts, parang di ko type itsura, haven't tried it yet though

I was at wild flour podium yesterday. Didn't buy it cause ayaw ko pumila. Anyway there's a limit of 3 pcs per person. My friend who was with me said its good naman but its not something you'd go crazy about and fall in line like that.

Na-try ko na yung cronuts ng wildflour, dunking donuts and le couer. For me, the one from le couer was the best. It wasn't too oily or too sweet. The one from wildflour was ok but for all the hype, parang ok lang. it's not something i'd crave for all the time. I think medyo nadala lang ako kasi ang sarap ng coffee na kasabay nung kumain ako dun.yung sa dunkin donuts, hindi masarap. nakakainis.

overall though, I would go for other desserts. I like donuts more. Ang mahal din nya for me ha. Wildflour's at 120, Le Coeuer's at 89 and Dunkin is a grossly overpriced 75.

I love Dolcelatte's croissant doughnuts.  i tried 6 flavors and i love them all! Medyo pricey nga lang at 110 pesos each.

Tried the berry croughnuts ng Le Coeur. Masarap naman sya, croissant na deep fried. Pero for me overpriced sya at P90. Mas gusto ko pa regular croissants nila, mas mura pa.

After Dolce Latte, Anybody's Coffee Cronutz naman na-try ko. Not sure what flavor yung basta yung may cream cheese filling. Disappointed, it should not be called cronut at all, yung bread nya is far from being a croissant, it's a donut lang

Sa Dolce Latte kami umoorder. Ok naman, masarap yung mga choco flavors. Gustong gusto nung
friend ko, nung sis ko at nung isa kong kid.
pero yung isa kong officemate, hindi daw sya impress, kadi pineapple something at raspberry yung
na-kain nya. Ang kinakain ko lang lahat ng choco flavors.
mas masarap sya talaga ag fresh buti find the price,kinda steep.

ayoko sanang maki-uso, pero na-curious ako why many pastry shops seem to be jumping on the bandwagon so i tried one today. i found the double belgian chocolate croughnut (their spelling, not mine) from le coeur de france delicious. mahilig naman talaga ako sa croissants and sweet puff pastries kahit noon pa kaya nagustuhan ko naman yung croughnut. the chocolate topping's really good. gusto kong i-try yung sa iba.

Tried the ones from country style. Para syang doughnuts that you get from a panideria.

Was able to try too the mixed berries (that was the only flavor available) from Wildflour. It's good naman but I guess I was expecting more considered I fell in line for almost 30mins. I find it a bit oily (but I discovered it is better if from the ref).  For me hype Lang talaga 'to. If ever I'll go back to Wildflour it won't be for this but for their other baked goodies.
