Sabi nung friend ko kasi na bumili sa Medela House, chineck na niya talaga yung box wala daw nito. Yan yung ikakabit sa regular nursing bra para di mo nga tatanganan. Di ko lang sure kung di naibigay sa kanya o ano, pero ang conclusion niya kasi nagbebenta sa Medela House ng Hands free bra kaya wala non lol.

Hindi yata magagamit sis hehe tatanganan pa ata? Palagi ko kasi to gamit dahil kasama sya sa binili ko. Di ko kasi to sa Medela House, online seller na nahanap ko sa Sulit yung pinagbilhan ko.

Yung avent na electronic 14k pero meron sa ebay 7k lang. Kung may kakilala ka sa singapore dun ka na lang magpabili mas mura, 6.5k lang

Agree, mas marami akong output sa medela, swing lang yung gamit ko compared sa unimom, pero infairness kay unimom nung bago pa lang siya marami din akong nakukuha, kaso feeling ko lumuwag yung breastkit kaya nabawasan ang output ko. Pag uwi ko sa pinas papalitan ko ang breastkit, mas feel ko pa naman gamitin ang unimom kasi closed system siya.

correct, medela talaga ang pinakamagandang breast pump. we purchased a Playtex breastpump before I gave birth. di kasi afford ang medela but when I started pumping, hindi maganda ang output sa Playtex. sakto, someone gave me a hand me down electric pump from medela. hindi nya ginamit kasi hindi na sya nagbreastfeed talaga. I just purchased a manual pump as back up pero medela pa rin. even the manual pump na medela worked better for me than the Playtex one.

hiyangan siguro but I think medela is the best. swerte ako kasi I didn't need to buy my pump pero even if I did, mababawi ko naman yung gastos because I didn't have to buy any formula for my kid for a full year. in fact until now, im mixed feeding pa rin so hindi kami magastos sa milk.

On the breast pumping thread I posted my experience with Medela Freestyle.

I got the freestyle (it was an imported unit I bought from a reseller, not from Medela shop) and it broke down completely. Sabi nung reseller, maganda ang freestyle and pinaka convenient for on-the-go moms, pero mas madaling masira (mas marami syang complaints na nareceive) than the other medela models. Kaya dapat super ingat sa handling pati na rin sa charging (wag over/under charging, charge for 18-24 hours before using for the first time, etc).

Make sure you have a back up pump just in case you are unable to use your freestyle (kahit manual lang pwede na) and where ever you buy your freestyle, BUY WARRANTY!!!

I bought mine sa Sulit.ph seller. Nabagsak ko na yung Freestyle ko twice. Panic mode kami ni hubby, kasi parang nagkanda loko loko sa charging. Bibili na nga dapat kami sa Medela House ng bagong batt. Pero bago yun naisip ni hubby na buksan yung pump, and nilikot lang niya ng konti yung battery. Naging ok naman na haha. So ayun pag wala ngang warranty kakabahan ka rin Yung pump ko last April ko pa nabili (May 22 ako nanganak, started pumping 5 days after) then nagamit ko until Sept. 3. I'm planning to sell it kung may papatol pa haha. My son won't drink expressed milk kasi at 4 months

For my first baby, I've used medela pumps and super happy ako sa performance nya.  I was able to exclusively breastfeed my baby for 1 year.  Kaya lang during my first I had two medela pumps na single, nabili na namin kasi yung single pump bago ko narealize na mas ok pala na dalawa ang pump. 

For my second pregnancy we're planning to buy the medal freestyle double electric pump.  Kaya lang during my research I've found this site and read good reviews about Camilre pump (eh super mura sya compared to medela) so I'm planning to buy this pump, and just in case hindi kami magkasundo then I'll get a freestyle... back up nalang yung camilre.

ah ganun ba? thanks sis ayami ha. kabibili ko lang kasi ng freestyle sa medela house, hindi ko alam kung papano gamitin, nasanay kasi ako sa manual ng avent. hehe.
pero thanks sa recommendations niyo ha. mukhang magiging maginhawa na ako at ngawit-free this time. hehe

^Kung first time mo gagamitin (as in out of the box), may charge yung battery at technically pwede na syang magamit. Pero the instruction manual says that you need to charge for 18-24 hours muna, or until the "batt" sign goes off. Thereafter, every time you take out the battery (which is not advisable) you sort of reset the system and the battery and therefore need to charge for 18-24 hours again.

For subsequent uses, the charging takes about 2-4 hours depende sa dami ng charge na natitira sa battery. You don't have to wait for the battery to be fully drained to charge it. Pero charge it until you see all four bars of the battery and the battery icon stops blinking.

any other good brands apart from medela for the double electric pump? yung less expensive sana. grabe ang mahal pala  may nabasa ako here na sis na gumamit ng 2 single pumps. would that work the same ba?

Sa may mga medela pumps, nag iisip kasi ako kung Freestyle or Swing Maxi (yung bago nila). Ano sa tingin niyo?

^Depende sayo yan medyo nagsisisi na ko sa pagbili ko ng Freestyle. Ilang buwan ko lang nagamit kasi useless na ang pumped milk ko ayaw na ng anak ko sa bote. Super easy siya gamitin. I have to admit dahil dun abundant ang supply ko. Yun lang di nagamit ng anak ko kaya dinonate ko na lang mga BM. Stay at home kasi ako sa ngayon.

Anyway on topic, easy kasi gamitin si Freestyle so pag on the go ka lagi at nagooffice, better na yun ang kunin mo pero kung sa bahay lang I guess mag Swing Maxi na lang.

hello! same question as kreez, has anyone tried cimilre breast pump, or unimom forte (both are sold at babymama.ph). parang ok nga closed system. mukhang popular choice kasi here yung medela, which seems too pricey kasi at 19k from medela house. thanks in advance!

Hi sis, i bought cimilre s2 from babymama.ph and super love it! What i like abt it is that i can control the speed. Mas concern ko kasi ang speed than suction strength kasi medyo madami naman ako nakukuha na milk sa manual pump. Need ko [textspeak!] ng mabilisan na pump. I can get 4 -6 oz per breast with it. Nung una i didnt knw how to use the letdown button kaya parang nababagalan ako kasi sanay nga ako sa manual na mabilis magpump but then na discover ko na din ow to use it properly. Been using it for almost a month na i got it at promo price last month kaya na sulit ko [textspeak!]. I think among all the products ni babymama eto like ko just bec of i can control the speed and suction.
