First Menstruation Inqury

Hello mga ladies and mommies, I have a question lang I hope someone will help or answer me kahit na daddy o male ako.

My 10 yr.old daughter had her menarche or first menstruation last May 19 it lasted for 4 days. But she did not had her period until now, she skipped the month of June. I did research the internet about menarche at meron ngang skip months (or normal for a girl having a menarche to skip months) but I just want to confirm about this, kasi meron din article dun na nagsasabi na skipping months might indicate health issues so worried ako.

Nahihiya naman kasi akong magtanong openly, baka kasi masampal ako  They might think na nang babastos ako pero hindi naman talaga.

Well here's my question ladies, normal ba talaga magkaroon ng skip months? kayo ba during your menarche nag skip din? How many months did you skip after your menarche? at mga ilan buwan o taon bago mag-regular ang cycle ninyo.

it's normal daddy_007 for pre-teens/teens to skip or be delayed with their menstration. sometimes,
my teen doesn't get her for over a month. it's been over a year since she got her period and still
the cycle is not the same. have you taught your daughter to mark the days she gets her period?
when you bring her to her pedia, perhaps you can advise her pedia and he/she can discuss
menstration with her (although this is commonly discussed in school and is even included in tests).

yes, hindi pa normal agad agad. and like what domestic diva said, monitor nyo. mark the dates.

also, a doctor told me na if there's a cycle, then it's normal. like kung every 2 months sya magkakaroon, then that's normal kasi may cycle.

Yes its normal to skip month/s, i think it takes a year bago maging regular talaga ang cycle.

it's normal. i had mine when i was 11 years old. it lasted for more than a week then after that my cycle skipped 2 months, that happened for a year. i even experienced having a period for almost a month, pale na yung color, but eventually nagregular naman.

Its normal po... I was 12 nung nagstart magmens... Initially mine looked like a small piece of pig liver, actually a blood clot... Then naulit yun after 2 months and by then, it was pale pink na... It was for 2 days only... Then the next one was 2 months after at naging 3 days pero pale pa din at mahina... 2 months after okay na...

Remember the dates na lang po... And if magkaroon na siya, mark the first day of menstruation as Day1 then count niyo po hanggang sa magkaroon ulit siya (the day before the 1st day of the next mens will be the last day of the cycle----- example day1 is june5  then next mens is july10... The last day of the cycle is july9--- cycle is from june5-july9)

In that way malalaman ninyo how long is her cycle... And it actually varies lalo na kapag first year...

I was 11 when I had my menarche and nagskip din ng mga 3 months.  Hindi pa talaga mareregularize ang period wiithin 2yrs.  If after 2 yrs irregular pa rin, you may visit your OB to have her checked.

For the first few months/year, normal lang na irregular pa ang mens.  Meaning pwedeng mag-skip, mahaba or maigsi ang cycle.

For the time being, para sa peace of mind na rin, you can have her checked sa pedia where they can request for CBC.  There are instances kasi na after mens, bumababa ang blood count.  For my daughter (every 3 weeks ang mens), she was given Sangobion to be taken for a week after her mens.  This also happened to me on and off kaya I used to take ferrous sulfate din a week after my mens.  As I remember, it took 2 years bago naging 28 days normal ang mens cycle ko noon.

It's normal of 1 month skip lang, up to now that still happens to me, though i'm 26 na so i think better for me go to an obgyne. Mabahala ka daddy if 2 months, mej red flag yun, sign to take a pt.

Yes, that's normal lalo na sa below 18 years old. Normal cycle ko now pero when I first had my period when I was 11 years old. It was June next period ko October na tapos next March, I remember kasi graduation ko na sa grade 6 noon. hehe And I also remember when I was younger my period lasted from 5-7 days. Now 2-3 days na lang
