What's revlite supposed to be for? Is this good for freckles? How much is it in Belo?

Thanks Mamasqueak for the reply. Nag-chat ako with them last week and sabi nila hindi daw ako pwede pa mag-book for a september appointment dapat daw one month away.

Tinanong ko firmplus, sa The Fort, Trinoma and The Block lang daw. Magtatanong uli ako about Greenbelt baka nagkamali lang sa chat.

^hmm... I used to get Firmplus at GB but this was around two years ago. Since my doctor was transferred to the Fort that's where I go to now. They also have Firmplus there. Re appointments siguro if you contact the branch directly you can get an appointment in September. Ako kasi minsan two months in advance pa since the day and time I prefer gets filled up pretty fast.

@Chili1113, revlite can lessen pore size and pigmentation (age spots, freckles, etc). The price will depend on the area being treated. For the face it's around 8K per session. To get the maximum effect you will have to get multiple sessions, the number will depend on how fast or slow the treated area will respond. Cheaper if you avail of their bundle promos (6+1 or 8+2).

@sarah012, no diamond peel but they have powerpeel. Same concept of microdermabrasion except for the crystals that are used.

Thanks for the reply mamasqueak! Is it painful or does it use a lot of heat? I have a bad experience na kasi with lasers so Im kinda afraid haha... I got blisters which caused permanent craters around my nose when I had little spider veins removed years ago. An Alma laser was used. The doctor said there are some patients who really dont tolerate lasers well. I  hope the revlite is more gentle.

^Revlite is still a laser treatment unfortunately. As with any treatments there are risks involved kaya siguro better talk to your doctor first. Or if you're planning to get revlite with Belo, tell the doctor about your past experience on lasers. Baka they can suggest other treatments that won't involve lasers. It might take a while though but if you want a fast and effective way to remove freckles lasers talaga ang standard treatment.

Re the treatment itself, they put cooling gel over the area to minimize the laser's heat. I have high tolerance to pain so it wasn't really an issue with me but I think you can request for emla if you think the gel won't be enough for you. And no blisters whatsoever after the treatment.

^^^ I had 3 sessions of skin master together with jet peel 3 session also plus 1 zo, alternate coz this is what my doctor recommend after my LHR. Nag light naman UA ko but with regards to chicken skin no drastic change pa kasi nag stop na ko mahal eh, once a week dapat kasi :(

Just sharing our experience with Belo The Block.

I tried Revlite UA. Isang session lang ako kasi light discoloration lang naman & pumuti naman underarms ko pero nangitim when I use their illuminating cream.

Yung husband ko, na-try yung fractional CO2 for his deep acne scars. Walang immediate effect kasi parang sunog talaga ang mukha nya. Pero after a few months of using yung recommended Obagi set nila, ok na yung face nya. May mga acne scars pa rin pero hindi na malalim. Makikita mo lang yung acne scars pag lumapit ka. Sabi naman ng derma, 3 sessions ang kailangan. We are considering another session pero saka na.

I'm interested in doing V-Beam with Belo.. any other clinic offering this for a more affordable rate? 10k minimum sa Belo for each session and may go up depending on the area and in TRAG branch lang meron.

I noticed also that Dr Aivee's clinic has a lot of the same treatments as Belo including Fraxel, Revlite and CO2.. i wonder who is more affordable too. Has anyone tried both and which is better?
