Probably not.

Ako kasi nag-unlink ako ng lahat ng cards ko (just because I feared baka may maghack ng account ko at limasin ang credit limit at deposits ko). But still I was able to send money, withdraw and pay stuff online.

Hi.. Please help me. Someone will pay me thru paypal. It's my first time. I only got BPI savings account, no credit card to verify. Will i be able to widthraw using my bank account, without being verified? Im confused. 125$ lang naman yung transaction if ever. Thank you...

You have to verify your account - you have to. It's not possible to withdraw unverified. Kumuha ka na lang ng Unionbank EON, BPI myeprepaid or smart money - these are debit cards proven to work with Paypal verification. You need to deposit around P200 sa mga yan before doing the verification.

Among the three I recommend using Unionbank EON - it can double as a bank account at wala pang incoming remittance charge galing sa Paypal so you save on fees. BPI charges P150 per paypal remittance.

Pwede sabay na i-open ang unionbank EON at paypal accounts.

Pero yun ng lang, kailangan intayin mo ang EON mo at kailangan may access ka sa online banking nito para maverify mo ang paypal. Kaya una mo pa ring matatapos ang EON.

I can't send money today. May error lang na lumalabas na "we can't send payment right now." Anyone encountered this?

hala, i received that email also. buti na lang di ko pinansin. paano na kaya, we are planning to use paypal pa naman in our online store. do you think it is still safe to use paypal? baka mamaya irecommend ko sa mga clientns amin then later on magkaproblem sila. paypal kasi ang affordable ang charges for credit card payments.

for unverified account pala, how much is the maximum limit in sending payment?

@msals2007, you cannot send a payment or money using unverfied accounts. May officemate has 8k on her Paypal account and she couldn't send it to me because her account is unverfied. Plan pa naman sana namin isend nalang sakin tapos ako nalang withdraw kasi mine is verified.

For me safe padin naman ang Paypal as long as you know how to spot phishing emails. I've been a user since 2009 and never had problems sending, receiving, and withdrawing money. Wala din funds na bigla nalang nawawala.

so my clients need to be verified pa pala before they can send payment to me? I thought kahit unverified pwede pero may sending limit lang. Mahirap kasing iexplain sa iba na hindi familiar sa paypal yung procedure. Minsan kahit iexplain sa website hindi sila nagbabasa pa rin or hindi nila naiintindihan. May added procedure pa pala ng verification para maka send. Ako kasi verified naman ang account ko, ang concern ko those prospective clients na gustong gumamit ng credit card. Kailangan pa ng mahabang paliwanagan about paypal.

^^Same here sis, been using Paypal for 5 years now. I have encountered lang issues where notifications arent sent to my email but transaction was completed and received to my bank account naman. I received two different kind of phishing emails this month... mga desperado! so careful sissies.

Question po, I opened  paypal account na pero hindi pa verified kasi wala pa ako eon card or myeprepaid.

Can someone still send money to my paypal kahit hindi pa verified?

I have a concern sisses. When I click on the Add Fund link it brings me to this:

Add Funds is Not Available

PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account.

When you make a payment, PayPal charges the buyer's credit card and instantly credits the seller's PayPal account.


I'm using UnionBank EON and my status is verified already. Hope someone could help me with this.
