i agree with sis chikit..... halos ganito rin nangyari sa amin.... during our TTC years, 2 years kaming nagpupunta kay OB..... i monitored my ovulation and menstrual cycles.... if di ako makapunta kay OB i used ovulation kit para malaman ko ang fertile days ko.....

also, i don't know if meron sa inyo nakakakapansin na during ovulation cycle meron time na you want to do the deed.... from what i've read yan ang pinaka-fertile time natin....

You might want to check kung ganun din ang case ninyo.  Ang dami ko nasayang na pera only to find out na mali ang timing namen.

i agree. ako nga LMP Feb 27 pero nag-ovulate ako  March 27. Maybe because PCOS ako and the "not normal" is normal for me :D

Thanks sis chikit, for sharing your inspiring story.  ;) Babies are blessings and gifts from God talaga. I guess alam ni God kung kelan ibibigay. Di bale sis sharks, ibibigay din satin yan :)

Hello kina sis imprincessfiona and yannuh, dati sa Engagements and Weddings section tayo, ngayon meron na din dito, katuwa.

TTC na din kami ni hubby. Almost seven months na kami married ni hubby and last July lang ako nagpacheck sa OB only to find out my pcos din ako. Right now, iregulate daw muna ang menstrual cycle para mas madali malaman kung kelan fertile. Is anyone here trying the basal body temperature method para malaman kung kelan ovulation period? Does it work ba? Naka-attend lang kami ng natural family planning seminar and ito yung nirecommend for planning babies and for birth control.

Thanks to all our sisses here who are sharing their experiences and insights.

I started to love taking care of babies when my mom had 2 of my brothers at 42 years old. I was 14 years old then. It was fascinating to watch them learn to move and speak, and most of all, laugh.

I had only one dream: to become a mother.

We started trying in the middle of our 2 year-long engagement. Every month that my period came, my heart broke, again and again.

A few days after our church wedding, we found out that my chances of naturally conceiving is only 0-2%, since my tubes are gone from the 3 abdominal surgeries. Our only option is IVF. After 3 tries, I am now 12 weeks pregnant with a Kato baby.

We are, still, technically childless, until this one comes out of me, alive, healthy and kicking. Realistically, if this still doesn't work out, husband made it clear that adoption is always an option.

Ang alam ko you need at least 3 months of data para you can predict kung kelan ka mag oovulate so medyo matrabaho talaga.

I feel you...
me and hubby want to have a baby for almost 2 years na. but looks like hindi pa napapanahon. I feel pressured kasi lagi na lang kaming tinatanung and I feel pressured din sa kanya kasi araw araw na lang lagi niya akong nareremind about having a baby. which makes me wonder magkanu kaya yung AI na sinasabi nila? I have PCOS but my OB says its all been under control and I read a lot of people having babies even though they have PCOS.

I think it strengthens the bond also. What I don't like lang sa culture natin, parang it's everyone's business to dictate or ask kung may baby na or wala pa. From mga makukulit na mga titas, kamag-anaks and even officemates. Pero I've learned to brush them aside for now. We don't feel pressured so far sa ngayon but we're both turning 30 next year so hopefully makapagconceive na din kami.

Sis jenbaguio, I think you need to be more open to your husband about how you feel, especially since emotionally distressed ka na due to the pressure of making a baby. My hubby willing naman magpatest for SA. He'll be having his first test on Saturday so God willing, ok naman ang results.

Sis bylan, thanks for mentioning this thread, I'll head over there na.  :)

PCOS is highly unpredictable. Swertehan lang talaga kung mahirapan ka sa pagbuntis or not.

I am 46 years old, turning 47 next month. My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We still do not have a child. But, di na rin ako nagho-hope, mainly because of my age na rin. Medyo mahirap (at nakakatakot) na.

Wala naman daw kaming problem sabi ng Gyne and family doctor namin. At first, I was advised to take it slow kasi medyo stressed out and busy palagi because I was a private school teacher at that time. Aside from teaching, may mga extras ako like coaching public speakers, campus journalists, and even Mass readers and program hosts. Nag-moderator din ako ng drama club. So, busy talaga. I resigned in 2006, hoping na magkaroon na ng chance for a baby. Wala pa rin. I was turning 39 years old na rin at that time.

I used to feel really depressed. It's a good thing my husband knows how to make me feel better. Eventually, nalagpasan ko yung pinaka-depressing stage. I can honestly say I'm ok now, although, of course, nanghihinayang pa rin na wala kaming kids. But, I am blessed with a lot of "anak-anakan" - my former students (and their kids). Nakahanap din ako ng diversion in the form of exercise.

Hi mga sis! I was once in this situation (for 9 long years!)... and this month, i will be celebrating my one year of motherhood. Palagi pa rin ako bumabalik sa mga thread that i used to hang out for the past years, to help and inspire other sisses.

I was: PCOS but i have regular period; blocked left fallopian tube. Hubby and I went to several OB din for fertility work ups. We couldn't afford IVF. Hanggang sa napagod na kaming pumunta sa mga doctors (it was financially and emotionally draining), more on my part dahil alam ko nasa akin ang problema.

Until I stopped hoping... BUT i never stopped praying. I asked God to heal my heart... to accept what's His plans for me.

What hubby and I did: We enjoyed each day... we had morning walks before going to work. We went strolling after work. We eat healthy foods. We sleep early. We took royal jelly (anti-stress din daw kasi ito). We go out on date, na mas madalas sa different churches kami nagpupunta (Manaoag, Obando).

Until one day, we had the biggest surprise in our life. And it was BFP. We cried for happiness. Indeed, God is gracious, God is faithful. It may be a long wait, but definitely worth it.

Hold on mga sisses... Keep on praying... God will surprise you one day. Kasama kayo sa mga prayers ko na sana magka-baby na ang mga couples who are wishing for babies!
