we were in maldives last november and it didn't rain then entire 5 days we were there. its actually a good month to go since summer is just beginning and d pa ganun ang tourists. bitin pa the 5 days because the first and last day was mostly consumed by traveling to and from the resort, alanganin din kasi the time of flights there.

^thanks for the first hand info bzbee! :)
sis charm0220, we'll be there for a week.. i think 7 days is sakto lang, kase aside from the travel duration mentioned by bzbee, plan din kase namin na walang gawin on the first three days.. purely just chill and enjoy the water villa para relax lang talaga.. then the following days, we can do activities/excursions na like sandbar trip and we'll go surfing to other atoll depende sa swell :)
then the last day, relax na lang ulit sa villa :)

Relax as in Europe, and I don't mind walking, touring and shopping too.  I just don't want heat/ sun/ sand haha  Definitely not a beach person :)  I'm getting excited just reading your posts.  Next year siguro I will have my hubby plan something.

We are so similar nicoletta! :) I so can't decide where to go for the honeymoon. Like to keep jumping across different countries ba or really 'immerse' in 2-3 countries lang for the entire 3-4 weeks...
maybe i will just let my fiance surprise me after all! Haha. I cannot wait to travel and relax and walk all day and shop and eat a lottt!!!

hello.. we're done with our honeymoon last May.. but we are planning to go to Maldives this November for our 1st year anniversary. OKay ba ang weather ng November? I read kasi na end of wet season ang Nov so really praying hard na maganda ang weather kasi nakapagbook na kami ng flight.

Hi sis! My friends and I went to Maldives last nov 22-25. 1st day and last day namin, umulan. Yung first night as in parang may bagyo. But naenjoy pa din naman namin since sunny nung ibang days.

Super enjoy sa Maldives, bagay sa honeymooners. Kami nga [textspeak!] ata yung barkada na nandun sa resort, akala pa nila mga fresh grad kami. Haha!

Yung ginagawa ng ibang couples, for 2 days magstay sa isang resort then lipat naman sa ibang resort. Sayang d namin nagawa yun kasi nakapackage kami.  Enjoy! :)

Hi sis! Can you give me an idea about how much it would cost for a 3-4 nights stay in Maldives? TIA! :)

We booked our package here in singapore. 90k pesos for roundtrip flight via singapore airlines, food and accommodation sa water villa at centara ras fushi resort. Sulit sya kasi buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pero may option din to try their other restos. Unli drinks and alcohol the whole day.

^Oohh tempting! Maldives really is the it place to be for honeymoons ah!

Another idea din yung multiple honeymoon places say Dubai-Europe-Maldives hehe daming pwede kakaexcite talaga! I am exploring now Spain-Morocco, or Cyprus-Greece-Turkey-Moscow since fiance is going to Scandinavia pala this August. Sawa na daw sya sa usual Euro cities so all the more harder to plan :( even if he says iba naman since 1st time namin together syempre gusto ko may bago for ua borh. Im gonna help plan na hehe.

^all i remember of Moscow is bad traffic. And everything gray. Hehe. Just a tip, if you're doing the tour make sure there's an English translator. Nasayang oras namin because we booked an English tour and yet zero English ang guide. Red square and The Kremlin were impressive though.  I suggest St. Petersburg instead Ü

^Ang sad, haha! Sige i will check St.Petersburg also kaso alam ko he's been there nadin! Haha saang lumalop ko kaya dadalhin to?!  Allergic lang kami muna sa Africa and South America for honeymoon kasi mainit and parang more adventurous ata than relaxing.

Hi brendaumnas.. Travel agency ba kayo nagbook ng package here sa SG? May i ask which travel agency? We already booked our flights but we're looking for a package na resort, transfers and food na.

Hi sis.. I believe 90k for 3D2N is per person, so total of 180k for 2 pax.. Kase return-ticket to maldives via singapore airlines costs at least 30k per pax na..

Sis brenda and hallerski. Wow 90k for Maldives. Not bad nga! I also thought we would have to spend 300 to 400k because I've heard resorts there are super expensive!! Thank you sis for sharing! It's something worth considering. :)

Hello! Regarding Maldives, good deal talaga nakuha namin. Nagbook kasi kami nung travel fair dito sa SG kaya nakakuha kami ng discount, saka 8 kasi kami. Pero max of 2 per room. Yung 90k is all in na per person.

We stayed sa Centara Ras Fushi, 30mins or less lang ang travel by speedboat from Airport. Bagong resort lang, 2013 ata, kaya mura pa. Pero 4 star resort din if I'm not mistaken. Yung ibang resorts kasi, mas mahal kasi kelangan pa sumakay ng seaplane. Eto yung itsura nya, at itsura ko haha!

90k is per person for 3 days, so if 2 pax (couple), total of 180k :) if a couple would stay longer, like, for a week, then it would cost them a total of almost 400k already..
Good deal na sis kase all in na siya and via singapore airlines.. True, you'll get nice deals talaga pag natas travel fair :)

sparklingjewel, flights to Morocco are really cheap from Spain/France so I think it's a lovely add-on for a Euro trip. Plus you don't need a visa :)

Heard earlier on the news that Greece is running out of money even for tourists.. :\ Not that we're planning to withdraw money while travelling maybe we'll just bring a lot but the situation is making me anxious. Confirmed ko pa naman that my fiance included Greece as one of the countries he is including in my 'surprise' honeymoon hehe.

^Dont worry sparklingjewel. The "situation" for greece will be more stable by then, in terms of convenience for tourists. Might be cheaper also to stay even in the best hotels! Also planning to include Santorini in my honeymoon. I just hope the direct flight we are planning to get from Athens directly to Dubrovnik will not be cancelled as this is mostly a flight for tourists, and is a seasonal flight. If they cancel the flight, I might have to rethink my honeymoon itinerary!! =( =(
