Has anybody been to Maldives? Dito namin balak but I need first hand experiences and stories. I read over the net na bawal daw kasi alcoholic drinks dun? Pero sabi ng kakilala ko na galing dun, nakapag wine daw sila. Pero aside from wine sana pwede rin beer. Kasi mahilig talaga kami uminom ni fiance tee hee!

hi All! newbie here H2B and I are just about to start planning the wedding and our target is december 2015. We dont have anything booked yet but we're firm that our honeymoon will be in Europe. Just not sure whether to wait for a few months or so, or fly na agad right after the wedding.

What would you suggest? Im also considering kasi pagod and stress with the wedding. baka d naman namin ma-enjoy ang tour kung pagod pagod pa kami.

^You better start booking your suppliers NOW because Dec2015 is almost booked for most suppliers. About Europe, there is an existing Europe thread. You can get a lot of ideas from there esp itinerary and budget

I agree, also consider that it's winter in Europe. There could be lots of flight disruptions, snows and mahirap mag-ikot because of the weather.

Got married last October but we haven't had our honeymoon yet. Hubby has a year-long training and requires strict attendance.

We're planning to travel domestic lang muna this christmas break as our first honeymoon. Then after his training by may next year, we're planning to travel abroad. Siguro south korea or japan.

Spring is the best time to go for me. Less tourist, cheaper plane ticktes and hotels plus weather is really nice =)

is anyone having or had their honeymoon in bangkok? okay ba yung place for a honeymoon? im considering it..kukuha na lang ako ng magandang hotel to stay and relax for 4 or 5 days. phuket sana kaso budget ang kalaban..

The place is pretty much like Manila -- lots of cheap thrills, bangketa shopping, but noisy, polluted, hot.

whaaaaaaa.... even my honeymoon is overbudget  =( I'll have to drop the 3 Night Zambia leg of my honeymoon in Africa. Either that, or I pitch in, or I scrimp some more from wedding budget to add to honeymoon budget. Ang mahal pa ng airfare!! Cheapest is 2200+ USD via Emirates per person, economy round trip. If via Cathay it is currently almost 4000usd per person round trip! Grrrrrrrrr kailangan ko magbantay ng airline promos talaga hehe

Ask ko lang suggestion nyo for honeymoon destination, activities, etc. Wala pa kasi talaga kaming napapag-usapan about honeymoon, san kami pupunta at kung anong magandang gawin. September kasi ang wedding ko, medyo tag-ulan. Eh 1 month kaming nagfile ng leave so dun na din namin isasabay ang honeymoon if ever.

Target Destinations:

*Batanes (kaya lang baka maulan ng September?)
*Japan (baka summer na ito of next year)
*Davao

Every year din nagsesave kame to travel kaya medyo nakalakwatsa na din kami kung saan-saan. We've been to Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, Ilocos, Tagaytay, Baguio (yearly tradition, ewan ko ba everytime anniversary namin, dito kame, naeenjoy namin masyado and Baguio hehe). Baguio na lang kaya ulit noh bilang maulan naman? HEHE.

Sis, baka nga maulan in September for Batanas, unless you're willing to gamble and take the risk. Pero my officemate last year went to Batanes during September. Sobrang lucky niya. Week before and after her travel date bumabagyo, but weather was perfect during her stay! Otherwise, choose other destinations na lang

we're going to bohol right after the wedding but that's not our real honeymoon yet :-)
palawan is also a great romantic destination - you can get a boat to a deserted island and spend a night there.
