we celebrated our 1st wedding anniv sa thailand.
3d2n sa pattaya, then 3d2n ulit sa bangkok.
okay naman po sa bangkok. enjoy na enjoy si misis sa pamimili.
sa lahat ng night market na pinuntahan namin, kakaunti lang ang paninda for guys...
puro pang girls eh. ang mumura pa sobra.

for galagala... you have the various temples and sites like grand palace, reclining buddha...
kung bitin pa din sa temples you can hop a train to ayuthaya. kasama pa yun sa itinerary na hinanda ko noon. kaso sa grand palace pa lang overdose na si wife sa temples. ayaw na daw nya mag ayuthaya.
may ibat-ibang floating markets din na pwede puntahan para makumpleto naman ang thailand experience.

is anyone having or had their honeymoon in bangkok? okay ba yung place for a honeymoon? im considering it..kukuha na lang ako ng magandang hotel to stay and relax for 4 or 5 days. phuket sana kaso budget ang kalaban..

Bangkok is like manila. They have nice temples and it's a shopping paradise but if you are looking for something romantic and quiet, maybe you may need to
Consider another place outside bangkok. suggestion lang naman.

nahihirapan ako iconvince si bf to go to batanes even if the flights are on sale! (im not sure lang until when ang sale!)
making a new list of romantic/relaxing destinations by the beach within the country! Hay! Back to square one!

sis Adam1025 couldn't help sa visa because I haven't been sa Australia. Hindi ba pwedeng diretso na sa Australian embassy apply?

With regard to papers, not sure what exactly you need. I think ok lang punta agad SG basta lagay nyo lang correct information. Just make your name is the same sa passport mo and sa mga tickets. Nung ako, we went to Dubai after the wedding sa status I put single kase un ang status ko upon visa application. Then a month after the wedding, I needed to apply for a UK visa I put 'married' sa status though at that stage I didn't  have yet a marriage license. Naglagay lang ako ng pictures to support my application kase I am using my maiden name pa. Up to now I haven't changed my name kase hassle ang passport.

I think you might want to check the following beaches:

1. boracay
2. panglao (bohol)
3. el nido & coron
4. pagudpod (ilocos)
5. camiguin

24th na lang sa tripadvisor but in 2011 that was No. 2 then went down to 6.

But not being biased, agree the ambiance, the bars, the outdoor activities, plus the mango shake - the best ang Boracay. I lived in the Grand Cayman which is number 23 sa list - its full of luxury hotel - mas maganda pa din Boracay.

for beach lang talaga...
no noisy bars, not so many people...

1. Coron (stayed at Mt. Tapyas Inn. window view is very very nice)
2. Bolinao (forgot the name of the place where we stayed, but around 5 minutes drive from the upscale resorts. much much cheaper though. ganda ng beaches dito pati mga caves.
3. Pagudpud (if your both in to road trips... daan ng vigan and laoag on the way... we stayed at Polaris)

been to boracay twice.
didn't like it n both.
i think the beach is overrated.

Still deciding if we want a place where we can relax after the wedding, Boracay or Panglao, Bohol, or out of the country - Asian Trip  Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong but we might not be able to rest well. Im thinking kasi na the week of the wedding is stressful and busy, so for honeymoon, something relaxing naman.

^If you want an intimate honeymoon, go for beach (Palawan or Bohol). Mala-twilight lang na tipong onti lang yung tao

^^ Sis Papiseed, if Palawan ba, saan mas okay, Coron or El Nido or Honda Bay? hindi pa kasi ako naka punta anywhere doon kaya wala ako idea haha

^^sis rikki21, I've only been to puerto princesa, we did a day tour of honda bay. kung beach and relaxing habol ninyo, I wouldn't recommend honda bay. parang day tour lang doon.

Sis rikki21, i've never been to El Nido, only Coron and Puerto Princesa. Para sakin mas ok ang Coron dahil mas maraming activities ang pwedeng gawin. Sa Puerto Princesa naman, ok din naman. Siguro honeymoon wise, mas ok sa Puerto Princesa. Just check some accomodations na ok. We stayed at Puerto Pension before and I must say maganda sya! Plus some restos na private and intimate (i.e Kalui)

I've been to Puerto Prinsesa, Coron and El Nido.

Kung honeymoon sa Puerto Prinsesa better stay in Dos Palmas na lang para beach front talaga ang rooms and mas may privacy, medyo malayo lang sya sa town proper.

Between Coron and El Nido. Pros ng Coron: mas diverse ang activities, mas maganda ang corals for snorkeling, may freshwater lake! pero bihira din ang beachfront na hotel sa Coron, and for me mas bagay sya sa barkada outing. Pros naman ng El Nido, mas okay sya for beach bumming and mas romantic, less colorful lang corals compared to Coron. Yung mahal naman sa El Nido would depend where you will stay. Ako pangarap ko sa El Nido resorts, kaso umaabot ata 20k a night  Medyo malayo din pla ang byahe to El Nido from Puerto Prinsesa (6-7 hours land travel, with rough roads), but if you have the budget, may chartered flights. Last visit kasi namin budget lang, backpacker. haha di pwede pang honeymoon.

gusto din namin El Nido, but masyado malaki rin magagastos namin so we just opt to have Coron and Ilocos
