mostly what we talk about in our soon to be wedding is where will we spend our honeymoon. being in a fianće petition, we can't really choose when is the wedding and even having said that, i am not allowed to go outside US not until the papers are being processed. so question ko mga sis, sa mga nag honeymoon within US, where did you spend your honeymoon? were from SD so aside California san kaya maganda pumunta? we're planning on Hawaii but any other suggestions will do as i don't know any other place para may choice kami ni fianće. thanks in advance mga sis, wedding will be next year so definitely ngaun palang we have to plan it.

^ If you want a tropical vacation, Hawaii would be a good choice because it's gorgeous and doable practically all year round. If you want to go to the Caribbean, you have there the US Vigin Islands (the beaches of USVI seem really beautiful like St. John's Trunk Bay) and Puerto Rico. I think you shouldn't have a problem with those islands but kindly double check. The Florida Keys are supposedly really good too.

It all depends really on what kind of vacation you guys want and when you can go. I don't think you need a year to book everything. About 2-3 months would do. But yeah, lots of areas and attractions, choosy sa seasons.

@shopaholic18, once you're paper is filed you can apply for advance parole. So you can travel outside of US. I think pwede mo sya i-apply at the same time na you apply for working permit. Mabilis yan ma-grant. Usually mga 2-3 months meron na agad and pwede kana mah travel.

@shopaholic18 sa Las Vegas, a lot of things to do and see malapit lang sa SD and there are honeymoon packages to fit every budget.

Hi sisses. Is it okay to have the honeymoon 10 months after the wedding? Im a really busy person and its not easy to file a leave sa work ko. So our plan is to have it during the month na maluwag ako. Okay lang ba yun? European tour kasi ang honeymoon namin so i need atleast 3 weeks for this. And october lang ang feasible time for me to do that. sad hehe

oo naman sis! Kami nasa kamay ng seat sale kung kelan kami maghoneymoon pero kami prefererence namin after nang kasal para relax. Kung walang masakto sa gusto namin date kahit tagaytay muna na honeymoon will do.

^ thanks sis hanson15. you mean pag walang sumakto na magandang date na seat sale, simple honeymoon muna? Is it okay din ba sis na dalawang honeymoon? hehe sobrang stress ko sa pagplan ng honeymoon kasi ayaw namin umalis ng december, mahal na winter pa hahaha hindi maeenjoy ang pagpasyal. tapos ang next feasible month ko na lang makaalis october na hahaha. Kay fiance okay lang pero sakin parang ang lungkot parang feeling ko kasi kami lang yung maghohoneymoon after 10 months pa hahahaha

^sis kami november 15 pa kasal namin. So kung wala akong mabook ng november 16 or 17 basta onward ang ibbook ko after wedding. Strict si mudra para pre honeymoon kami.

Pero sa stress na planning sis. Kung mga december pa ako makapagbook ng honeymoon or the next year pa. Ang layo na nun after the  wedding day. So the day after wedding punta kami sa batangas or tagaytay to relax kahit 3 days lang hehe

Nagaabang lang ako ng seat sale ngayon for november 2014 kasi bora kami.

cream_puff11 kami din hindi pa nagho-honeymoon although sa Boracay naman ang wedding and we live abroad so sabi nila honeymoon na din un. We stayed in Dubai for four days din on the way back home pero I was with the in-laws the whole time so I did not consider honeymoon.

What we did, we booked an overnight hotel lang dito sa Dublin few days after namin bumalik so it was a very very simple honeymoon. We had a nice dinner lang din so feeling honeymoon na.

We might go to Spain for a week this September (got married last Nov - so 10 months after din) para sa aming honeymoon.

Just do something small, even stay in a hotel for two days para relax lang.

shopaholic18 How about Miami, sa South beach, nice din dun, beach and then party party sa gabi. Or Puerto Rico nga if you can, it is really nice, may character ang lugar.

 mooncake and leaves thanks, part of the reason why we're thinking of Hawaii is that most of my relatives are there kaya isahan narin sabay sa honeymoon yung pagpapakilala sa mga relatives na weren't able to make it on our wedding.

SweetheartKo actually gusto din namin mag disney cruise then bahamas kaso yun nga naudlot din kasi nalaman ko na mag aapply pa ko for AP, depende kasi sa paid time off nya yung wedding and honeymoon pero kung it will take time kasi mag aantay pa kami for AP baka sa anniversary nalang yun, thanks.

csiako Las Vegas actually plan namin for the wedding, we might stay there for a couple of days nadin pero we wanted to have our honeymoon somewhere else, thanks sis

shegie_285 thanks sis, i need to check on Florida area, di kasi din ako masyadong familiar dun pero if i remember it right, sa Florida start ng disney cruise na papuntang Bahamas so if we plan on doing that for the honeymoon kung sakaling ma approve kaagad AP ko then that would be great.

^ np. you can't really go wrong with those choices. both hawaii and the bahamas are really pretty. the advantage of hawaii nga lang is it's closer to california and travel would be cheaper and more relaxing than in the bahamas. you also won't need to worry about your papers or any travel restrictions. but these are two different islands. hawaii is more lush and its attractions more varied. the bahamas are mostly flat and the best beaches are in the out islands, far out of reach of most cruise ships.
