it's reassuring to know someone else had a good experience with her ah you met her pala during your preps sis? ako i saw her lang online and made the transaction with her online too. she told me nga to stop by their office some time so she could see me in person. i told her i'll bring her snacks and coffee kasi sulit din yung inclusions na binigay niya sakin sis my coordinator, sheena of sma weddings, also gave good feedback regarding ate inah kaya i booked her na. i think midrange din siya sis. vatel is high end, full blooms by inah is midrange, then dangwa florist is mura? tama ba? natatakot kasi ako to go too cheap kasi baka hindi maging maganda yung experience ko. ate inah seems like a safe choice


so far mukhang consistently attentive siya sa clients niya sis my coord told me that ate inah delivers early daw and the flowers are always fresh. i got her package c sis.

ay sis di ko pala namention, hindi pa tapos ang wedding namin. magaan lang talaga ang loob ko kay ate inah. though my designer, roxy bagano, got fullblooms for her flowers too sa wedding nya last year and she was very satisfied with ate inah's output.

I am helping my uncle's wedding kasi and so far we booked joel faller in tagaytay pas florist but still we want someone to style the event. Catering is k by c and the coordinator is ana sotto. For high end stylists like Gideon... expect to have to shell out 200k for about 200 guests for the reception alone. That is the basic and minimum. If its Gideon, it will even be more expensive.

Pasensha na sa noob question pero does anyone know if hydrangeas are grown locally sa Pinas? Or if it's considered high end flowers? Or low-midrange? Kasi I can't decide what flowers to request for my entourage.  And I asked quotations for it, but then I was just acting on assumption na the hydrangeas are cheap in the Phil., since it's cheap where I'm from. Maganda rin sya, and it comes in varied colours. If not then I have to request for a cheaper option na maganda pa din. Hope somebody can help me out on this one. Thanks

Hi mga sis.. anyone po na pwede magrecommend sa akin ng flowers supplier.. my wedding coord recommend a florist. just for the whole entourage, me and my groom, principal sponsors and parents they quote me 11k, wala pa dun yung sa church. parang ang mahal niya kung kasama na sana yung church okay eh. baka may masuggest po kayo sa akin. salamat po.

Hi bonzaigirl, there are local hydrangeas and imported hydrangeas. The local ones have smaller heads/blooms and as far as I know are more commonly available in the blue/purple shades; I wouldn't consider them high end. If you want white I think you may have to go with the imported ones. Keep in mind that hydrangeas can be hard to work with (they're not the hardiest and can wilt very easily) so you'll want a florist who knows what they're doing, especially if you're having a summer wedding.

You're right sis sevenstars. The bouquet that was used for my civil ceremony was hydrangeas and roses. And tama ka. Medyo madali nga syang magwilt. Kahit nalagay ko na sya sa vase after ng wedding.  Do you mind suggesting appropriate flowers for entourage? We've got a rustic bohemian thing going on, and our colours are mint, champagne gold and peach.  At first I was thinking of baby's breath or yung imported counterpart nya (kasi daw yung local na baby's breath eh madaling magwilt), pero if I could have more suggestions for flowers for a mini bouquet for the entourage   Anyone's suggestions would be truly appreciated.

bonzaigirl, one trick I've heard of is to keep the hydrangea bouquet in water as long as possible (so even during preps etc naka-vase) but it's kind of hassle lol. Carnations are very pretty and quite cost-effective, as are local roses; you could also look into lisianthus, hyacinths, waxflower, succulents, and snapdragons. I'm not sure how easy it is to get peach snapdragons in the Philippines (the white ones are more common) but they're very pretty.

Booked Il Fiore for my Caleruega church arrangement! I'm getting her 10k package. 19k if kasama entire ento ko. But I'm leaning towards Cheri Handicrafts para preserved ang bouquets naming lahat.
Ang saya kasi Il Fiore allowed any amount as reservation fee for my 2016 wedding I deposited 1k lang.

nagdadalawang isip na ko kay amante fleurs, its so hard to reach him. didn't know i'd care this much about flowers, pati the kind and color of the flowers i want something specific for me and my ento. i love his arrangements pero ang hirap naman if we can't communicate well. i want to book na sana fullblooms by inah, love her arrangements too and she replies fast pa, kaso she's more expensive. love in blooms naman is even more expensive. considering going back to my first option, which is ms blessie, im a bit hesitant lang with her kasi it seems like her bouquets are too simple.

Hi! Im a newbie here. I just got married exactly a month ago. Pls think twice if you will book Jocelyn Laguna of Love in Blooms. I regret booking her on our wedding. I was so disappointed and felt cheated. She was the most expensive supplier we've booked but sad to say the worst. Our initial package was 95k, but since i want the reception same as chiz and heart, she asked me for additional 70k. We even had a mock up which we paid for additional 5k but i was so surprised that the mock up was totally different from reception. We paid a total package of 170k but during the reception, her flower arrangement only looked like 95k. She is a cheater! And she's not professional when dealing to unhappy clients. She even blocked me on facebook! She should settle our matter in a professional way. So for the future brides, if you want your reception to be ruined, go and book her.

^ Oh my! That was a big amount. I think she has the intention to do that since she already blocked you in FB. Kasi if wala syang intention or willing man lang sya to settle with your concerns, she might be able to talk & arrange it all with you.

cmeceogo, so sorry to hear about your experience with Love in Blooms. When I met with her and tried to set up an email correspondence, she was quite unprofessional nga which is why we didn't choose her. Why don't you ask your coordinator to help negotiate at least some reimbursement? Do you have photos of the mock-up and the actual reception?
