^ mainit dito ngayon....it didn't rain the whole week...pero since yesterday medyo makulimlim but still mainit.  if you'll do a lot of walking, bring sunblock, esp. pag umakyat kayo ng Batu Caves, i suggest agahan niyo kasi mainit don pag medyo tinanghali kayo ng akyat

Day 1 namin, nagtaxi kami from LCCT to Sky Hotel RM102.50 ang charge sa min, buti may map kami kasi hindi alam ng driver yung hotel namin, pero parang di pa rin niy alam kahit may map, tumawag ap siya mismo sa hotel. lol. After check-in nagdinner kami at Petronas Tower na, long walk siya pero ok naman kasi may walkway.

Day 2 namin, nag-avail ako ng half day city tour for RM200 pero hindi rin namin natapos yung City Tour kasi napagod na anak ko or nabored na rin so punta na lang kami Mid Valley para sa lunch namin. DI na rin natuloy Batu Caves namin kasi may topak na ng anak ko. lol. Pero madami na rin naman kami napuntahan sa city tour like petronas, national palace (old and new) kl gallery, mosque, kl tower, etc. Yung mga temple ang hinuli namin para if hindi umabot sa time ok lang pero hindi na rin namin napuntahan.

Day 3 namin punta na lami airport for SG trip naman. Taxi din for RM90 naman singil.

May malapit na convenience store sa Sky Hotel and since wala breakfast sa hotel, bumibili kami food sa TLJ.

Hi Sis phurple0515 - I have been reading the past two threads and I can say that you have been very helpful to all Girltalkers wanting to tour Malaysia. I admire your patience in answering the questions. Super big help ka talaga. 

We have a trip to Malaysia next month and here's our itinerary.

Day 1     Touchdown 8:05pm
      Take bus (Skybus) from LCCT to Puduraya Terminal (Pudu Sentral) or China Town.
      Check in at Dragon Inn Premium Hotel (along the main road) – reservation confirmed
      Sleep
Day 2     Kuala Lumpur tour
      Walk to Little India Brickfields
      Kuala Lumpur City Gallery
      Merdeka Square
      Bus/Taxi - Batu Caves
      Optional (Istana Negara – King’s Palace)
      Go to Kuala Lumpur City Centre
      Petronas Twin Towers
      Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
      Explore the night market at China Town
Day 3       Check out and travel to Singapore
      Ride the bus from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan or Puduraya
   

Here are my questions sis:
1. Ok ba yung itinerary ko for Day 2? Kaya ba ng 1 day yung mga places and magkakalapit langba sila that would allow us to take the bus lang or walk?
2. Ok ba yung Dragon Inn Hotel sa Chinatown?
3. Do we have buses going to SG from Puduraya station? Pwede ba magbook the same day of your departure?
4. I saw that we can book bus tickets online but I am not sure kung mura na ba yung price na nakita ko. Yung trip from KL to SG is RM55 per person and SG to KL is SG21 per person, mura na ba yun? or meron pang mas cheaper?

^ hi sis, see my reply:
1.  ok naman pero i would suggest you taking the train (cheaper and faster) or taxi rather than bus.  Matagal.  Merdeka Square is in Masjid Jamek and just take the Putra LRT there papuntang KL sentral then from there take the KTM komuter going directly to Batu Caves.  Pabalik naman, from Batu Caves KTM pa rin direct to KL sentral, take the Putra LRT papuntang KLCC.  Same train pa rin pag pabalik kayo ng Pasar Seni (Chinatown area).

2.  Haven't seen it yet sis pero from the pictures mukhang ok naman.  Usually kasi Hotel Geo ang alam ko na pinagpapabookan ng mga sa Chinatown nag-i-stay.  Chinatown i would say is like Binondo.  Mas prefer ko pa rin sa Bukit Bintang mag-stay though.

3.  SG to Puduraya, meron bus don sis.  Pwede magbook sis on the same day as long since di naman peak season ngayon.

4.  depende kasi sis kung anong bus company e.  Check for transnasional na bus kasi yan yong laging sinasakyan ng mga kasama ko dito and cheap naman.  For comfortability, mas gusto ko pa rin ang StarMart since 6 hrs almost ang byahe.  check out here for more details http://www.journeymalaysia.com/ptasingapore.htm

Will be arriving KL via Air Asia then we will have a 3.5hrs layover before our Malaysia Airlines flight to Penang. Will the terminal/airport be the same? If not, how much time do we allot for travel time?

isang tanong pa pla sis, would you know kung nagbebenta ng F1 merchandise in the city area? as i understand sepang circuit is near the airport and far from the city proper. pagdating kasi namin 1 week after grandprix na. I was hoping we can still grab some F1 merchandise after the grandprix. crossing my fingers.

Bukit bintang area since nandoon na lahat ng malls, restaurants and malapit lang din sa KLCC tower.

sis little_princess, no, Air asia is in LCCT while Malaysia Airlines is in KLIA, 10 mins away by shuttle bus.

sis examiner30, yes, you can try Parkson Malls sa mga major malls dito like Pavilion, KLCC, etc.  Authentic pabango yon, or you can just buy at Duty Free sa airports.  tapos sis examiner, ang F1 race happens on April, yong October is MotoGP.  Usually sa KLCC nagbebenta ng merchandise on the events.

sis kittycat228, yes sis....Bukit bintang ang usually sinusuggest ko kasi its in the city centre.

^ thanks, is the shuttle bus free and where can we find it sa LCCT? Also, if we have a 3.5 hour layover (given that Air Air is on time), is that enough time to go through immigration and customs and take the shuttle bus to KLIA?

^ should be ok sis.  the bus is just in the LCCT area, its in the bus loading/unloading area sa labas na ng LCCT building (nea Coffee Bean).  10-15 mins lang naman ang travel from LCCT to KLIA.  Since Domestic travel lang naman ang next flight niyo, abot kayo (ex. 30-1hr sa LCCT, 15 mins travel to KLIA)

Thanks sis Phurple. yap F1 happens on March 28-30 this year. I'll be in KL April 6 pa. Do the F1 stores set up temporary stores in KLCC just as they do sa SG? And aside from stores, may exhibits ba sa city proper? I really hope meron pa kami maabutan kahit mga merchandise lang

^ sa KLCC usually ang exhibits sis.  kasi Petronas ang sponsor ng F1 event kaya sa KLCC siya laging me stores.  Di ko lang sure kung may maaabutan pa kayo kung Apr 6 pa kayo andito.  usually, right after each event palit sila agad.

Sa Sunday na flight namin going to Kuala Lumpur. 6pm dating namin and bus lang kami papunta KL Sentral. We'll be staying Hotel Sentral na walking distance lang (sana) from the station. Can you criticise our itinerary sisses?

March 2

March 3

-Batu Cave (morning)
-Check-out Hotel Sentral (leave luggage there)
-Petaling St/Chinatown/Central Market/Sri Mahamariamman
-KL City Gallery and Merdeka Square

-Return to Hotel to pickup luggage
-KL Sentral Station (overnight train to Singapore)

March 4

-Check in hotel

-Orchard Road (if di pa pagod)

^ sis, ok naman yong KL itinerary mo.  Pero me nasingit ka palang SG (dapat sa MY-SG thread mo pinost).  Yong last day niyo, make sure na kung LCCT ang airport niyo for the flight, and if you are taking the KLIA train, make sure sa Salak Tinggi kayo baba at pag bumili kayo ng tiket sasabihin niyo na agad sa KLIA station na LCCT kayo pupunta para isama ang tiket ng shuttle to LCCT.

just a comment sa SG niyo, hehe, kita ko uunahin niyo ang USS at Sentosa tapos isisingit niyo ang Chinatown? why not unahin niyo ang Chinatown and Orchard Rd sa umaga then USS and Sentosa right after (say by lunch) para di masayang ang USS tickets niyo? me mga shows pa sa hapon din don.

What's a good hotel that has a nice view of the Petronas Towers? Was looking at Mandarin Oriental Traders Hotel. Correct me if I'm wrong but we can't go up, right? Or has that changed?

Change of plans, well be flying from Manila to LCCT then will stay the night before flying out to Penang via Malaysia Airlines the next morning. Is it worth it to go to the city center and see the Petronas Towers or just stay in an airport hotel?

@phurple0515, yes sis sa LCCT flight namin pauwi and take sana namin KLIA train. Pero daan muna kami sana ng Putrajaya. Bale via KLIA train, KL Sentral -> Putrajaya. Then, Putrajaya -> Salak Tinggi. Thanks sa tip sis! I didn't know about the shuttle. Mas convenient samin if combo na.

If magkasama ticket ng KLIA train + shuttle to LCCT, magkano yun sis? Say, if galing ng Putrajaya? EDIT---> I found the fare, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya -> LCCT RM5.50

Also sis, I forgot to mention sa SG trip, sa Chinatown area kami stay kaya yung pasyal sana namin jan ay paguwi na galing USS/Sentosa Ok ba stay sa Sentosa until 6-7pm? Sulit na ba yun? Yung Orchard Road I don't know if feasible pa na late puntahan. Pero ok lang kung next day na yun.

^^^ sis little_princess, if you have the ample time then should be ok for you to visit petronas in between your stay.

^ KL sentral kasi is mostly Indian area, malapit kasi Indian community don.  Mas ok for me ang Bukit Bintang, everything is there, di mahirap maghanap ng kakainan, accessible din sa lahat and near tourist attraction din.
