Malaysia Guide (Thread 9)

Hi mga sisses, matanong ko lang, since ang Expected Time of Arrival namin in Malaysia (LCC terminal)  is 9:50AM, I'm thinking na dumiretso na agad  ng Singapore by bus,  paano ba makapunta sa bus terminal from the Airport?  Also,kailangan ba magpa reserve or pwedeng doon na bumili ng ticket?  Thank you in advance sa reply

sis phurple0515 gusto sana namin mag overnight sa melaka sat/sun kaya lang ang oras ng flight namin is 10:45 ng sunday makakaya bs kung manggagaling pa kami ng melaka papuntang lcct? Tia.

^^ depende sis kung peak days pero pwedeng dumiretso na.  From LCCT, meron don shuttle bus to KLIA train.  So ang baba mo is Tasik Selatan which is the bus station going to Singapore.

^ sis, just give an allowance na lang kesa magmadali kayo.  kasi minsan matraffic din sa MElaka.  Though pwede namang whole day lang don.

sis question po nakabook na kasi ako sa crown regency near sa petronas ok ba dun ?, base on google map 13 mins walking from klcc station to crown regency safe ba maglakad around 9 to 10 pm or mag taxi na lang kami?  and pwede ba ba kami mag pic taking sa petronas around that time kasi me 5 r old kami kasama kung safe po. thanks a lot po

^ yes sis, matao naman ang KLCC area...you can go to KLCC?petronas via the walkway sa me Pavilion Mall....

help naman mga sis, chinecheck ko kasi yung rail transit map, pacheck naman kung tama intindi ko.

after city tour namin, baba kami sa KL sentral, from there sasakay lang ko ng line 2 papuntang Batu Caves.

from Batu caves balik kami KL sentral tapos sakay ng line 1 papunta ng Mid Valley mall(gusto ko kasi puntahan ang Cath Kidston dito). Mahaba pa bang lakaran papunta ng mall from train station.

Then from Mid Valley balik na kami ng Sky Hotel, so balik lang ko Kl sentral then sakay ng line 8 then baba ng Bukit Bintang, malapit na lakaran rin ba?

May kakainan ba kami sa KL Sentral for lunch? May convenient store din ba malapit sa Sky Hotel? TIA

^ maraming kakainan sa KL sentral sis kasi yon ang station hub ng lahat halos ng train system dito. 

Sorry ha di ako familiar sa mga lines, hehe...from KL sentral, going to Batu Caves, take the KTM komuter train going to Batu Caves.  If from batu caves you want to go to Midvalley, go back to KL sentral using KTM komuter, then from there, transfer to the other platform, KTM komuter going to Midvalley.  The station has an entrance to the mall.  From Midvalley to Bukit Bintang, you take the same train going back to KL sentral, then from KL sentral take the monorail train baba kayo ng Bukit Bintang.  From KL sentral to the monorail, lalabas ka pa ng KL sentral station, lalakad ng konti, mga 3-5 mins to take the monorail train. 

Unless you want to take a cab from Midvalley to Bukit Bintang na diretso.

medyo takot ako magtaxi ng magtaxi dahil sa nababasa ko. hehe! Pero from airport to hotel and back to airport magtaxi ko. =)

From Sky Hotel to Petronas sa Pavillion Mall ako maglalakad? may directions or signs ba na mababasa para hindi maligaw?

^ from Sky hotel, just go papuntang Lot 10 - then Pavilion, andon yong walkway to Petronas.

crowded ang area na yon and lahat halos pumupunta ng KLCC.  tagusan yon sis, from Bukit Bintang, pag andon ka na sa Pavilion, yon yong alley ng mga kainan on your left sa Pavilion Mall, una, me coffee shop tapos Topshop ata, Esprit, don sa other end, andon starbucks, coffee tea then yong walkway na.  me signs naman if im not mistaken

^ mainit dito ngayon....it didn't rain the whole week...pero since yesterday medyo makulimlim but still mainit.  if you'll do a lot of walking, bring sunblock, esp. pag umakyat kayo ng Batu Caves, i suggest agahan niyo kasi mainit don pag medyo tinanghali kayo ng akyat

Is it okay to stay at Metro Hotel? if yes, which one is better in terms of safety and availability of many activities day and night, one night lang kami, Metro Hotel KL Sentral or the one in Bukit Bintang? Or are there any budget hotels na mas maganda.

We decided to tour Melacca for one day. I'm browsing journeymalaysia and yung historical melacca tour is i think 120 or 130. Okay na ba yun? Or madali lang bang mag DIY? Kung mga trishaw naman sa nababasa ko RM40 per hour naman daw ang charge.

^ sis kung Metro Hotel, sa Bukit Bintang area ka na lang kahit medyo malayo yon talaga sa mismong Bukit Bintang   usually ang sinusuggest ko either Sky Hotel sa Bukit Bintang or some also tried Rainforest B&B.

ok mga price ng journeymalaysia sis.  yon din ginagamit namin.  very convenient, mabait mga drivers (tour guides) nila.

Hi mga sis!

I will be in MY on April 6-11 for a convention, although 3 days lang yung convention. Since libre [textspeak!] ang accommodation hubby and son will tag along with me. May mga nakasale kayang VNC or branded clothes on those dates? Hehe And since Shangri-La kami mag stay, may mga pwede bang lakaran na malalapit para sulit kasi 8-5 yung convention.

^shangri-la is in the city centre sis so going to the right is papunta na ng KLCC (just walk straight ng P.Ramlee street (near Monorail), going to the left papunta ka naman ng Bukit Bintang area.  usually sale naman karamihan sa Bukit Bintang area ng mga VNC sis.

Mga sis, help. Will be in KL for a conference. Will try to go around sa gabi, I'll be staying at  Prince Hotel. Any suggestions on where I can go to sight see and shop?

^ hi sis, same ke sis examiner...pero yong hotel niyo, tapat na mismo ng Pavilion Mall, which is pag labas mo sa kabilang side Bukit Bintang na.  Then if you follow the walkway, its KLCC na.
