^^ hi sis, usually StarMart Express sa may Berjaya Time Square sina-suggest ko.  Di ko pa na-try ang train pero feeling ko mas hassle yon

^ meron sis, like Melia Hotel near Monorail station (Imbi), its infront of Berjaya Time Square, likod ng Sungai Wang Plaza at Low Yat Plaza.  Other's will be sa may Ampang area malapit naman sa KLCC.

^ yup, nakalimutan ko din Park Royal   it's a serviced apartment though pero ok naman siya at madami naman daw choices for breakfast.

kakatapos ko lang blog ko on our layover in Malaysia.  ngayon ko lang napansin na malapit-lapit sa Shangrila Hotel yung KL Tower.  hanggang sa Shangrila Hotel yung paglalakad namin when we decided to stop, di na namin napuntahan KL Tower.  yun pala mukhang malapit na kasi malaki na yung KL Tower sa picture, hehe

Mga sis, I am planning to go to Kuala Lumpur. Okay lang din ba na magsidetrip pa Brunei for one day? I have relatives kasi there na gusto kong bisitahin. By air ba best way ko?

Share lang - had a layover in KL for 5 hours . hubby and I decided to leave the airport. We were able to see Petronas. hihi. very impressive at may high end shopping mall pala iyon sa loob. sarap sanang magtingin-tingin kung may time. we also had a quick dinner at Mcdo then balik na aiprort, tapos delayed flight naming ng 2 hours! sayang. na-impress ako sa MRT/trains nila very accessible from the airport.

sis phurple0515 not sure if you remember but thanks for the tips on how to go to the city centre from the airport. Si hubby dapat ang lalabas on the way to Pinas, but his flight from Paris to Malaysia was delayed for 7 hours so hindi sya nakalabas ng KL. Pinagpilitan nyang lumabas kami on the way back here in Dublin kahit 5 hours lang layover.

Punta akong KL on the 16th, pero di ko pa naayos yung accomodation and stuff ko. Plan ko magLegoland so nagbook ako ng flight ng KL to JB, ang problem ko, ang return flight from JB is 10pm. San kaya mura magstay na malapit sa airport?

Hi sisters,

Those of you who are travelling to Singapore must consider a day trip to Legoland Malaysia, especially if you are bringing along children.

Transport options from Singapore
- Coach from Golden Mile Complex
- Coach from Singapore Flyer
- Private transport from your hotel lobby / residence

I recommend that you spend half a day in Legoland Theme Park and half a day in Legoland Water Park. If you are not keen on the Water Park, there is Hello Kitty Town and Little Big Club located just 10 minutes drive from Legoland, which is also very popular with families.

After a day in the theme parks, relax by shopping at Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) where you can find great bargains on brands like Lacoste, Polo Ralph Lauren and Coach. Seafood is also very cheap in Malaysia as compared to Singapore, so do stop by for seafood dinner before heading back to Singapore.

for everyone's information, here are the holidays for Jan and Feb here in KL:
Jan 14 - Tuesday - Mohammad's Birthday
Jan 17 - Friday - Thaipusam - Batu caves will be very crowded, eto kasi yong parang Black Friday ng mga Hindu.  You can see a lot of those with body pierce, etc.  Try to google Thaipusam so you can check.  pero baka di niyo carry amoy
Jan 31 and Feb 1 - Friday & Sat - Chinese new year
Feb 1 - KL Federal Territory Day
Feb3 - in replacement for Feb 1 falling on the same day as Chinese New Year

^^ yes sis, its safe ng ganong oras and maliwanag pa.  it's like 530 pm dyan sa atin.  Yong RM350 ba kasama na don ang meals? Or purely transport lang?  Medyo mahal kasi e.

^^ transport lang sis kaya namamahalan din ako. 2 adults and 1 kid lang kasi kami and for sure half day lang city tour kasi puntahan ko na rin petronas and kl tower ng first night namin. can you give me directions sis from sky hotel bukit bintang, paano lakad namin. thanks!

sis okay lang ba magside trip sa malaysia? I'm reading also the singapore to malaysia thread and there are a few mention na hindi raw safe magala especially sa JB, even daw sa KL mataas daw crime rate like snatching and mugging. Natakot tuloy ako bigla. First out of the country trip nami ng friend ko, dalawa lang kami, both female. Singapore talaga kami then plan namin 1 day sa Malaysia, day trip lang. We plan to visit Batu Caves, Malacca and KL tower. Kaya ba ng isang araw yun. Would you recommend the Legoland and Hello Kitty theme parks kahit hindi kami mahilig sa rides o sayang lang?

Or okay kaya if mag hop on hop off bus na lang kami. Tapos isingit na lang yung batu caves siguro. Yung malacca baka have to forego na muna kasi mukhang whole day din ata kailangan to tour Malacca.

Sis safe ba yung Star Mart Express na bus? we'll be coming from SG to KL and overnight yung schedule. Yung trip naman namin from KL to SG eh by overnight sleeper train nalang.

JB - KL Sentral train sana pipiliin ko kaya lang parang na discourage ako na magpunta sa JB cause hindi raw ganoon ka-safe sa JB. Tska parang hassle rin magbus from SG-JB then train JB-KL. What do you think?

sis abbeydasassy, you can pm me sis...medyo busy lang kasi out stationed ako sa SG ngayon.  definitely it's safer than Manila for me.  pero locals will say to you nga na me mga snatching na rin dito, etc...pero not much in the city centre...pero lagi naman better to be safe than sorry.
