Hello!! I'm from Singapore and I would love a short weekend getaway to a nice resort in Malaysia to le my hair down and enjoy the scenic environment. However I am undecided as to where to go, I will probably be travelling in mid November and would like some tips and suggestions if you may?

still can't decide if i'll book a hotel in Sentral or Bukit Bintang.. What do you think, sisses? I'm thinking of booking myhotel either in bukit bintang or sentral. Will spend just a night and they offer triple rooms that are withing the budget. if we need to go to LCCT the following day, sentral location is better than bukit bintang right?

^^^ sis cherry, weather here is makulimlim maghapon.  humid pa rin.  just bring your umbrellas to be sure

^^sis traveldelight, I think from SG, you can go to cameron (if you want something like tagaytay weather) or Langkawi (if you are a beach bum).  The resort we went to sa Langkawi last year was good. Surprisingly, tahimik sa resort kahit along main road.

^ sis resme , bukit bintang kasi is the heart of the city, KL Sentral naman, malapit sa Little India, wala ring masyadong mapupuntahan sa gabi.  Sa bukit bintang madami.  Though pag KL sentral ka nga at papuntang LCCT, mas madali na don kasi andon na yong bus to KL sentral or yong KLIA train to go to Salak Tinggi then from there yog shuttle na to LCCT.

^ Sunset Beach Resort sis.  Ang maganda is mura tska malapit sa Ocean Adventure, malls pero likod nila yong beach.  Here is the website:

nakakatawa nga kasi yong receptionist pinag-usapan namin Marimar while checking in, hehhee...malapit din siya sa Zon mall where they have the Duty free shops.

may i also know kung ang mga taxi dun, kahit saan pwede mag-para parang pinas? hehe tia ulit

^ me queue ng taxi sa LCCT sis, di pwedeng parahin lang basta. before you go out of the terminal, meron don kiosk to pay for the taxi coupon. sabihin mo lang san ka pupunta.  same way if you take the bus to KL sentral, meron na sa loob ng terminal mga bilihan ng tickets.

phurple0515, thank you! Ayan.. meron na kaming mapupuntahan Gusto sana namin initially sa Genting kasi mag eenjoy doon ang 5yr old son namin. Pero eto yung news nung September lang:

GENTING HIGHLANDS: JUST three weeks after 37 people were killed and 17 were injured when a stage bus plunged down a ravine here, another accident has occurred yesterday.

Natakot naman ako Hindi ko napansin anong bus line iyon. Usually kasi Aeroline kami.

sis phurple0515, nagrent kayo ng car? nabasa ko need to rent a car para makapunta sa ibat ibang tourist spot. pano kung di marunong magdrive?

kung need talaga magrent ng car siguro stay na lang kami sa hotel, beach bumming na lang. next time na lang magikot ikot pag may kasama ng marunong magdrive.

^^ sis, yang bus kasi na yan, hindi yong bus ng Resort World.  Public bus kasi yan tapos mabilis kasi silang magpatakbo. 

^ nope, we availed of the day tour ng journeymalaysia.com.  it just took 4 hrs for us to go to all the places (included na yong entrance fee sa tour plus yummy pa ng seafood lunch).

^^ooh public bus naman pala. Kasi ang Aeroline and the like safe naman sila mag drive. Kaskasero siguro itong mga bus na ito.

sabi kase ni manong driver baguhan daw po yung driver nung naunang naaksidente...anyways hindi talaga sila safe magdrive in my opinion, pakurba na hindi pa nakamenor, juice ko takot na takot ako akse ako ang nasa harap, grabe lang sila, taxi itong sinakyan namin pababa at gabi na

hello mga sis.  di ba wala namang visa going to Malaysia? kulit kasi ng bf ko, ipagtanong ko raw kasi sabi sa kanya meron.  anyway, question ulit.  based sa available flight schedules, mukhang mag stay kami overnight sa KL before heading back to Manila.  bali ang flight namin is Krabi to KL, arrive at around 4pm then next day KL to Manila, flight is about 11am.  ok lang naman na lumabas muna kami di ba para mag ikot ng konti sa KL?  saan kaya pwede mag stay na mura?  gusto ko sana yung medyo malapit lang sa KL airport.  but then again, gusto rin namin visit ang Petronas Tower, tamang tama pa-gabi na yung dating namin sa KL.  ano pa kaya ang pwedeng puntahan in that short span of time?
