^^ Those coming from the South (Johor/SG), ang station is Tasik Selatan which is far from KL city itself.  Mga few stations pa ng LRT. Or you can check with the bus itself kung magbaba sila sa Pudu station.

^ pwede sis, kung wala nga rin kayong luggage, pwede din niyo naman puntahan ang Petronas, take the KLIA train (take the shuttle in LCCT baba ng Salak tinggi KLIA station, baba kayo ng KL Sentral.  then fro KL sentral, take the Putra LRT, baba kayo ng KLCC).  Mabilisan nga lang.

I found a bus from larkin terminal that alight passengers to pudu sentral. mas ok ba na ito na lang kunin ko na bus? malapit na ba sya sa KL? sorry don't have any idea. ang choice of hotel ko kasi sana pagdating sa kl is yung malapit lang around petronas tower. kaya ang gusto ko sana na bus from jb ay yung may malapit na terminal sa kl city.

^ Yes sis, Pudu is in KL na mismo.  Tasik Selatan is also KL, kaya lang its a few stations pa to reach the city centre itself.

Hi sis phurple0515! pasensya na, lubuslubusin ko na mga questions ko.
I'm planning to book at Impiana KLCC Hotel, I've read that this is near petronas tower. Kaya ba siya lakarin from hotel to the tower? mga ilang mins kaya? And if ever sa pudu sentral terminal station kme, paano pumunta from there to Impiana Hotel?

^ yes sis.  kaya siyang lakarin.  mga 5 -10 mns siguro.

its been quite rainy sa hapon so i think better scratch off Genting na rin muna ngayon from your itineraries.  I have heard they might actually be closing Genting from sept  (2 yrs) ata for renovation.

3. Nakakuha kami ng promo from Firefly  airfare from Subang to Johor Baru going to Legoland. My question is anong best transpo going to Subang? Kaya ba ng mrt or bus? and how?

4. From Legoland to SG madali lang din ba? Anong bus ang dapat namin sakyan goin to SG?

^ here are my answers sis budy:

1) either you take the cab, or take the bus to KL sentral, then from KL sentral either take a cab directly to your hotel or take the monorail.

2) convenience of not having to think of commuting ang advantage ng hop on hop off, and its 24 hrs. validity for the ticket. If let's say you want naman to do DIY, it will be in this order:
- take the monorail to Kl sentral, transfer to KTM komuter going to batu caves station.
- from batu caves, take the same train, baba kayo ng KL sentral, transfer to Putra LRT, baba kayo ng Masjid Jamek.  That is where the Jamek Mosque is.  Pwede niyo na lakarin going to Chinatown or Central Market. then balik kayo to the station, take the Putra again, go down to KLCC where the Petronas is.  from there pwede na kayong maglakad to Bukit Bintang kasi yong walkway will be from KLCC to Pavilion Mall, paglabas mo ng Pavilion is Bukit bintang na.  Pwede na rin niyong lakarin papunta sa hotel niyo via Berjaya Time Square sa likod ng Sungai wang sa Bukit Bintang. 

3) Best way (and fastest) will still be cab.

4) legoland to SG me mga bus na ata.  Pacheck na lang sa thread ng Malaysia-SG.

^ nataon lang na la ko masyado ginagawa ngayon sa office, hehhe...

medyo makulimlim din pala weather dito ngayon, pero as i have said, ang ulan lang naman will last saglit so nothing to worry about.

napanood namin yung Genting Highlands sa "Biyahe ni Drew" - dati wala akong kabalak-balak pumunta sa Malaysia kasi feeling ko parang Pinas lang. pero na-curious kami nung napanood namin sa Drew, hehe.

kaso medyo magkaiba kami ng kuya ko, mahilig siya sa city escape, ako sa nature escape. so i know sa Malaysia merong city escape, pero meron ba kayong mare-recommend na mga nature stuff? for example when we went to Singapore, yung nature stuff na nag-appeal sakin ay yung Night Safari and Singapore Botanical Gardens.

sa Malaysia kaya anong mga recommended nature (i.e., floral, fauna) destinations na di naman kalayuan sa KL?

hi sis phurple 0515! i made a research about dun sa bus that stops at pudu sentral terminal, gusto ko kasi malaman muna kung comfortable yung bus before i make an advance ticket purchase, i found out na ang pangit ng service ng bus na yun. may mga nabasa ako sa net na hindi magandang experience ng mga passengers. ang hirap pala maghanap ng bus na galing sa jb at nagbababa sa pudu sentral. no choice, i think we will settle na lang sa terminal bersepadu selatan. kung dun kame manggagaling going to impiana hotel klcc, advisable ba na magtaxi? ang dami ko kasi nababasa na bad reputation ng mga taxi sa malaysia. si husband pa naman mataas ang paninindigan, ayaw niya ng niloloko. kapag alam niyang mali, talagang aawayin niya. i'm afraid, if ever that happens alam ko na may gulong mangyayari. or pwede naman mag train na lang? the problem is, we are with our luggage, ang dami namen dala plus with kid pa, then palipat-lipat ng train station. parang ang hassle.

^^ sis meimei, di ko lang alam kung ico-close starting this sept ang Genting for renovation.  for near KL, me mga ok na nature trips sa selangor (as per journeymalaysia.com) or you can try out Penang or Langkawi also but its a long drive or short flight.

^ sis, ok na mga taxi ngayon konti, kasi the govt has imposed a stricter rules for those taxis na nangongontrata.  convenient pag taxi and from tasik selatan kasi me queue na don ng taxi.  better get those na naka-queue.

Impiana kasi is medyo lalakarin pa from the train station. so better do get a cab na lang.  me taxi kiosk sa tasik selatan bus station, where you pay the fare to the kiosk then just give the coupon to the cab driver.

@yummieyomi: sis okay sa impiana. May walkway going to suria klcc and pavilion/ bukit bintang area. Mga 5-10 mins walk. Naka-connect walkway sa hotel mismo ok din rooms kahit yung choices for buffet brekky. Dyan kami stay nung summer na nag-travel kami eh

^ i would suggest maybe just around KL city sis, like Petronas Tower.  KL kasi is more of maraming lakad if you want to go and see the different places.  Since me elderly kayo na kasama in a wheelchair, mahirap mag-commute.

Batu caves sana pero hanggang baba lang din siya, may maiiwan while the others are going up the stairs to see the mini temples above.

i just booked mla-kl-sg-mla tickets via 5J. sa 2014 pa naman ang flight but super excited na ako. as of now eto pa lang ang concrete details ko.

solo travel lang ito. wala ako kasama. ang original plan ko was to do kl-melaka-penang-jb-sg.
of course required mapuntahan ang petronas towers. yun pa lang ang sure ako.
in penang and malacca, i just plan to really wander around, eat the local food, tingnan yung colonial buildings and learn more about the culture.
jb is optional but i plan to stay in singapore for 4 days.

so eto na ang mga questions ko. sana makapag bigay kayo ng insight at advice since first time ko magpunta ng malaysia at singapore.

1. ok na ba yung pagkakasunod sunod ng mga cities na gusto ko puntahan or is there a better way to do this? i was thinking kasi na baka puwede ding from airport, go na ako to penang agad then balik ng kl, then melaka then jb then sg.

2. how many days should i allot to tour kl, penang and melaka?

3. i plan naman to stay at hostels, preferably hindi dorm and eat local food. how much kaya ang kailangan ko i-budget for thie malaysia leg of the trip? excluding na yung mga pasalubong.

4. i just read na from penang/butterworth may train din going to bangkok. kaya ko kaya isingit yun or huwag na lang? i'm open to the possibility naman of taking a plane from malaysia to bangkok then bangkok to sg since matagal pa naman yung travel ko and baka makakuha din ako ng murang airfare. pero kung mejo haggard at magiging parang amazing race contestant ako, baka hindi na.

hi u8mypinkcookies! i'm looking for a hotel kasi that is just near petronas tower, and i found impiana. good reviews plus ok pa sa budget, hindi sya ganun kamahal if compared to other hotels around klcc. thank you for that additional info! ask ko lang, can we use that walkway going to petronas tower? and is it always open naman? mejo late na kasi kame makakadating sa kl, and pagdating namen sa hotel i want to have a photo op sa petronas tower.

^^sis prepster, here's my answeres:
1) ang nawawala mo lang is Penang.  It is on the opposite side of KL.  Pa-south ang Melaka-JB-SG, while Penang is pa-North.  So either ang gagawin mo is KL-Penang-KL-Melaka-JB-SG.  So ok na yong plan mo na Penang ka muna.

2) 1 day each should do esp. kung hectic ang schedule

3) i'm not particularly sure how much ang rates ng hostels, pero mag-allot ka na lang ng mga RM10 per meal.

4) as mentioned, Penang is north of KL. So kung kaya ba ng powers mo isiksik lahat, hehe

mga sis, pwede bang matulog sa airport ng Kuala Lumpur? may connecting flight kasi kami if ever, 12.30am ang dating sa Kuala Lumpur, then next flight is around 7am pa from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi.  magastos naman kung lalabas pa kami ng KL...

^ oo sis, me mga nakikita akong mga Europeans/backpackers na don na natutulog pero sa sahig or sa upuan lang.  if you want a more comfortable one, then you can stay at Tune Hotel.  It's just a walking distance away from LCCT (I assume sa LCCT kayo na airport if you have a flight to Krabi)
