I love inabel blankets!  Eto nga ang hinihingi kong pamana sa lola ko eh at yung mga lacasa.  :-)  Para hindi off-topic, ako kasi since I live abroad, I sell goodies from whatever country I am.  Nakakaaliw din, from Korea, lumipat na ako ng Spain, tapos now sa Holland naman, pero may mga clients na hindi bumitiw kahit nagiiba ako ng mga items kasi depende kung nasaan ako.  Side biz ko lang sya, kasi may fulltime work ako eh, pero iniisip ko rin pano ko sya magrogrow, nageenjoy ako maghanap ng new items to offer eh, pero hindi ko pa mafigure out pano i-scale up itong side biz na ito.

Hi everyone! any idea on how to start an online business? First time ko magventure sa ganito since eto yung pinakapractical sa situation ko. I tried looking for full time work pero given na masyadong mabusisi yung sa school ko (im currently taking up law btw), at andami kong kalaban na fresh grads and may mga experience, nagsettle na ko. As of now, naghahanap ako ng mga cheap suppliers, nagiisip sa set-up ng online business, prices, etc. May mga tips ba kayo dyan na pwedeng mashare sakin?

Hi Ladies! I'm new here sa female network and i think this thread is great. I'm a mom of two, currently working as a specialist for markets operations of a bank. however, i just recently launched my business (just last Nov2014). rooting from plain passion hahaha! its mostly online but I've tried being part of a bazaar even. I'm into designing and manufacturing shoes, importing clothing, apparel and accessories to go with it. is there anyone here who can suggest or probably help by giving marketing ideas? or suggesting pages in which i could request or submit a proposal for a possible feature. juggling work and a business on top of your family and kids can make a woman go crazy hahaha!

Well ako plan ko rin magbusiness ng food kiosk muna for a start. Ngayon pa lang ako nagsisimulang magplano talaga for the future. Para-paraan lang para kumita habang inaayos ang buhay.    Trabaho tapos sideline.

Pag minsan buy and sell din ako online. Depende lang kung anong available sa'kin at that time and kung ano yung gusto ko ibenta na products. Since 2005/2007 pa ako nagbebenta online. Uso pa yung Multiply noon. Sayang talaga yung website na yun, nagbago kasi sila ayun tuloy wala nagsimula silang magdecline sa kakumpitensya hanggang wala na. Kaya eventually nalipat na sa FB ang mga online stores and then there's Sulit na naging Olx na.

Na-try ko na rin makisali sa mga bazaar dati kahit saling kitkit minsan para tipid. Haha. Dami ko na rin pala experience sa pag-buy and sell kahit papano. I think marami naman na ngayon ang into buying and selling "business". Lahat na pinapasok magkapera lang. Never ko lang talaga nagustuhan ang network marketing or MLM kasi daming pakulo ng iba maging member ka lang.

Anyway, sa ngayon ang binebenta ko e mga townhouse sa Quezon City at Pasig tsaka iba pang items online like wallet or calendar na ako nag-design/layout. Pwede rin naman ako sumideline ng design ng event invite, poster, flyers atbp para sa mga personal use or businesses etc since graphic artist din ako.

^ i love this thread. Nainspire ako lalo to strive hard for my online business. I am into direct selling to earn income in addition to my income from employment. During off-duty hours and online, I sell Human Heart Nature (HHN) products and cloth diapers. at first, user ako ng HHN tapos naisip ko karirin na as a business/sideline kasi naengganyo ako sa advocacy. sayang nga, naisip ko sana dati ko pa to sinimulan. nag eenjoy talaga ako sa pag bi business.

Nung college ako nagbebenta ako noon ng imported goods from clark duty free. Pero sa mga kakilala lang kaya maliit lang tubo.

Masaya dito sa human nature marami ako nakikilala. Working on expanding my team and looking for active people who like direct selling also. Masaya ako na ibenta ang products ko kasi sariling atin ito. Dati kasi Body Shop user ako pero naisip ko, sayang kasi lumalabas ng bansa ang pera natin. Gusto kong business yung makpagpoprovide ng income sa mga kababayan natin.

Gusto ko rin later magventure into other businesses like food.

Yes sis sarap pag may mga kasama kang negosyante at natututo kayo sa isat isa. Yung pag venture ko sa business yung isa sa mga achievement ko, madyo mahina kasi loob ko eh pero interested kasi ko sa selling kaya I started mg Fb Page where I sell shoes and bags locally made pero quality naman. Nag iisip ako ng ibang idadagdag and aral pa kung paano mapaparami likes and benta..

Yes its true marami kalaban lalo dami mura items from china na kalaban ng local products. But ganun talaga, 1-3 years in a business is a crucial year kumbaga testing period. But in the meantime na medyo di pa mabenta I believe that its a good opportunity to study the flow of business and paano mo pa papataasin. There are lots of lesson to learn so engaging in some of seminar and this kind of thread to gain insights is one of the good way.. I remember isa sa mga nainspire ako sa sinabi ni Bo Sanchez in one of his talk is when you start a business you want it to be organic, you need to plant seeds, nurture it   before you enjoy its fruits.

^grabe nga ang china halos lahat meron sila, may idea ba kayo mga sis saan sa china nakakabili ng mga wholesale na mga branded/signature bags? pag nasa vietnam ako may mga items sila na super copy yung original talaga at ganda ng quality pero pag ask mo mga tindera made in china pa rin... sa part ba ng guangzhou? Ako I buy and sell designer bags then we just opened a new business making personalized onesies for babies. Nagpapakilala palang so medjo puro promos and giveaways muna. My husband kasi is into printing talaga passion nya mag layout, magdesign etc and since I just gave birth kaya nagkaton kame interest on printing designs sa mga onesies ang cute kasi! Then now parang Im itching to do baking na din katuwaan lang.

hi Noylabmay, to answer your question sending thru balikbayan box is OK as long as your products are non perishable or has longer shelf life. with our experience it took 3.5 months before it was ready for pickup sa LBC.. it came from LA, Cali.

port congestion daw ang dahilan and i dunno the tshirts have dark yellow spots na parang naluma na sa box..
