i was still in grade school  nung sumasama ako sa nanay ko mamili ng wholesale na paninda nyang saging at mga kamote para itinda sa maliit n pwesto nya sa palengke. Lumaki rin ito when we started supplying yung canteen sa SM Cubao, until, we shifted to retail ng mga processed foods. Up to now ito pa rin ang business namin. Ok naman ang kita, lalo na pag ber-months. Although napakalaki ng puhunan at di ganun kalaki ang tubo (10% for every kilo), ok pa rin since kaya nya support yung expenses sa bahay, since kasama ko parents ko sa bahay. Yung parents ko, napatayo nila bahay namin dito sa laguna ng dahil sa palengke, naka-invest na rin sila ng mga sasakyan dahil sa palengke, and recently nakapatayo ng kanilang rest house.

 Ang main business naming mag-asawa e yung aming longanisa business. we make at least 40 kilos  per week at sa tindahan lang parents ko ang sinusuplayan namin. Gusto sana namin i-supply rin sa ibang palengke kaso hinde ko alam kung papaano. Since matanda na parents ko, kami ng asawa ko ang katulong nila sa tindahan. Dati may mga helper kami, inalis lang ng tatay ko kasi napakahirap daw pakisamahan ng mga helper ngayon.

Interesting thread! Your stories make me excited to try a new business. I have tried two different businesses before - computer shop & junk shop pero closed na sila ngayon.

I have an online shop and dito ako nag-concentrate. Nakahanap din ako ng regular buyers. I just hope na sana wala akong maging problema sa suppliers para magtuloy-tuloy. I am also managing my family's consultancy business so parang dalawa iyong tinututukan ko.

In my experience sa online selling, very important for me to regularly advertise products / services para malaman ng mga tao ang business mo. It's also a big factor na good quality para magkaroon ng repeat orders and if lucky, irefer pa nila sa iba.

hello ladies,I'm a nurse by profession but am into food business right now, halos kaka start pa lang so hindi ko pa halos masabi if kumikita ba talaga or not pero sana naman it will go a long way , sana naman makakuha ako ng tips on how I to succeed in this field since baguhan pa lang ako.by the way my food business is kinda similar to the  rice in a box stall..take out kiosk lang but we accept orders na rin.looking forward ako na magkaroon ng catering service but for now pag me nalalaman akong event nagbibigay ako ng proposal if pwedeng sa amin na umorder ng food..if anyone naman na magkakaroon ng event within manila area or kahit sa cavite PM me na lang sana if you want to order with us...thanks

Nakakatuwa nman na may thread na ganito. Nakakarelate ako offline man o online ay kumikita pa din. Nabasa ko page 1 at ang 2 di na gaano kasi na excite na ako magpost. Pag offline, online same busines lang ako... time management lang ang inaayos ko everyday para mka goal sa target na dapat papasok sa araw2x. Nag stop kasi ako sa work dahil priority ko na mag business, may time na makaka encounter ka ng ups and downs pero no matter what dapat kumita pa din...business ko RTW at  nag wwhole sale ako ng products ng FIBISCO tapos retail/wholesale ang gingawa ko...tapos sideline ko na yung mga beauty products...

Ako din naghahanap ng iba at malalaki laking source of income especially now na 22 weeks pregnant na. Mas motivated ako ngayon kasi my goal is to stay at home sana para hawak oras ko at tutok kay baby para maalagaan! Sino ba namang mommy ang hindi gusto ito haha


Anyway, my plan is to sell a food supplement product which helped me since TTC ako for years and nawala din ang breast lump ko dito. Sabi ko good idea since I can attest sa effectiveness ng product. Kaso wala pa akong masyadong kakilala sa Manila though I have been living here for more than 3 years na.
