Sabi nung iba kung ayaw mo daw ma CS sa public hospital ka manganak minsan kasi sa mga private hospital/lying-in namemera sila kahit kaya ng normal isasuggest na mag CS syempre nga naman mas malaki ang bayad diba. pero pag sa public/goverment hospital e free of charge dipende din kung may sarili kang OB na nagkiclinic sa hospital na mapipili mo. kaya yung ibang kakilala ko sinabihan nila ako na sa private ako pero mag charity ako. hahaha. di ko alam kung masusunod ko sila tignan naten  anyway wala pa naman kaya basa basa lang muna ako.

A dad here. Me and my wife are looking for a hospital/doctor where she can give birth. Our current OB is very accomodating and helpful, we really like her but she is tied to Commonwealth hospital which is very far from us. Medicard partner sana para libre check-up hehe. We're looking at Capitol Medical, Fe Del Mundo, Delgado, or Metro North which is 10 minutes away from us. The problem with Capitol is the doctors are pretty old, nung pumunta kami, the doctor can't even read her chart even with her glasses on. I'm sure she is very good and experienced but my wife is worried baka mahulog nya baby namin or gawin nyang cross-stich ang tiyan ni misis

Kung me number kayo for the said hospitals or doctors to recommend. Sana yung hinde pa masyado me edad at medyo fair ang PF:D

My OB, Dra. Lee at Our Lady of Lourdes in Sta. Mesa is also old. But a lot say she's very agile and trustworthy.
Napaka-at ease ko din sa kanya, but I have to get another OB since I'm giving birth in my hometown Subic.

May 2 akong kakilala na nanganak sa lying in dito samin and wala silang binayaran. Sabi as long as Philhealth member and may contributions, wala na babayaran. Not sure lang if this is applicable sa lahat ng lying ins.

^same here sis! I gave birth to the same hospital but scheduled CS last May 14. I had a different OB though. Total bill for me and baby was approximately 50K. Stayed in a private room for 4 days. Two thumbs up sa service ng hospital. I was surprised that they exceeded my expectations.

Hello sis! May 21 naman ako, 1 week apart lang babies natin Agree, sobrang okay ang services sa OLLH. And hindi ko maiwasang macompare yung attitude ng mga staff/nurses/doctors dun sa isang private hospital kung san ako nagpapa check before. Sobrang babait lahat nila :-)

Sis sa Unihealth Southwoods ang current rate nila for NSD w/ epi is around 35K-45K, CS ia 65K yata. Less philhealth na yan. Maganda at bago ang hospital. Attentive staff. You are at 35w na pala sis, pwede pa ba lumipat? You can see Dra. Amores sa Unihealth, highly recommended sya dun. MWF 3-5pm sched. 3rd floor.

Naloka ako sa bill ko. Sa Rizal Medical Center ako nanganak sa Pasig. May sister ako nurse sya doon at binigay nya name ko s Social Welfare for interview.
Sa OB ward lang ako nag stay hindi na sa private room kasi the next day naman daw papauwiin na ako so tiis muna may kasama sa ward.

Ang bill ko sa normal delivery plus mga procedure and doctor's fee is. 7K. Then after ma interview sa social welfare, then philhealth deductions, my bill goes down to 730 pesos. Yes, ako man nagulat!
Yung pera na nakuha ko sa SSS (binigay in advance ng company ko) eh naitago ko At naibili ng ibang needs ni baby

Hi mga Sis. Sino mga nanganak na sa Taytay doctors dito? Dun kasi  ako manganganak. And may nabalitaan ako na sobra daw ang singil. 35 weeks na ko this week. Gusto ko lang maging handa kami sa possibilities na mataas nga ang fee.

I didn't pay a single cent. It's all covered by my provincial health plan. My private health plan which is paid for by my work paid only $60 because I had a private room.
