Mga sis, please help po.  Nawala sa isip ko bayaran yung quarterly ko sa Philhealth!!!! Pwede ko pa ba habulin yun kahit July 2 na tom? Tatanggapin pa ba?? ;-(

Same as the others pag alam mo na no conplications ka naman at kayang kaya mo manganak e go ka for lying in. Mas malaki kase ang tipid sa CGH dapat ako noong una kaso quote ng OB ko ay 30-40k normal ward at 60-70 CS. Kaya sinubukan ko ang lying in okay din naman si dra. at super asikaso pa kaming mag ina at first baby ko din pala ito. hehe lakasan lang talaga ng loob   pero mas makakamura ka kung mag public hospital ka.

6. Review - If dito kayo manganganak make sure hindi lang isa bantay nyo 2 or more kasi ang daming kailangan iprocess. They don't allow even bottles lang meron silang breastfeeding bank where you can buy milk if ever wala ka pang milk and also bring your powerbank specially kung madali kang mabored at sanay ka sa internet like me, bring your powerbank and pocket wifi kasi di ka pwede makapag charge ng phone or laptop sa loob ng room dahil 110 ang sockets nila you need to pay 150php for charging kukuha ka pa ng permit. Kaso kung may times na pinapacharge ako ng mga nurses for free tago nga lang hehe. About naman sa panganganak ko well my ob is the best! Ang smooth ng paglabas ni baby ang to think NSD ako at sabi nga nila pag cs lang daw bilog na bilog yung ulo ng baby pero sakin bilog na bilog sya and talagang ichecheck ka nya every now and then. Alaga talaga specially ako na may asthma.

Yes sis kami din nagulat. pero PF talaga ang nagpalaki, OB charged us 60k for PF, CS yan pero no complications, BTW OB is baguhan pa lang around 35 yrs old. Yes i inquired in sa southern thou they dont have package and hindi maka estimate sabi kasi during payment na talaga malalaman thats why hindi kami tumuloy kasi baka mahal since maganda talaga yung hosp, sabi subsidiary na siya ng makati med. Pero ganun din sis the OB from SHMC said na 50 to 60k lang magiging bill namin for the CS, tapos biglang ganun, BTW hospital charges ha is only 27k, grabe mga doctors dun

Here's mine. My total bill is 35 thousand  all in, in st jude hospital  in dimasalang Manila as scheduled cesarrean section. My doctor is Dra. Anicoche.  Actually sa chinese general hospital ako check up but then i transferred to doctora  around 7th month of my pregnancy also referred by a friend. Luckily to have doctora esp if youre in a tight budget. She' s nice, magaling and very accomodating. The 35 thou bill included na lahat deduction from philhealth, baby's bill, hospital bill and pf of all 3 doctors  however may kasama ka sa room but airconditioned. Clinic of dra. anicoche is in Valuehealth  along monumento circle. You can call her for details and she really answers your inquiries via text. 09239386659. Hope this helps!

Hi mga sis! May na-inquire yung cousin ko sa clinic in maginhawa. Package nung ob sa delgado is around 50 to 60 kung wala philhealth all-in, Pero para sa mga patients nya na medyo hindi kaya, meron daw private lying in na parang 13k lang tapos 20something painless na. Sya din paanak, may pedia din at anesthesia doctor. Mura na ba un?

Nanganak ako July 4, 2015.

I'm a single mom so para makatipid, I did alot of research. Self control not to buy unnecessary things para na rin maka ipon. I have HMO pero no MAT BENEFITS. So nagpapacheck up rin ako sa barangay health center. Unlike my HMO OB, sa barangay health center mas tutok mga midwife sa patient. Saka libre vitamins, anti tetano and bakuna hanggang mag 1 yr old si baby.

I follow 50/20/30 rule. Every payday, 20 and 30% naka list/naka tabi na ang para sa bills, 2 weeks allowance ko, yung share ko sa bahay and yung leisure (buy 1 mat dress/baby's needs or eat mcdo or buy pasalubong foods sa bahay). Madalas 50-70% goes to my savings kasi wala ako bisyo and hindi naman talaga ako mashopping na tao.

Since wala naman kami complication ni baby. I decided sa lying nalang ako. Unfortunately, my OB's lying in is not  PHILHEALTH associated so doon na aki sa gov lying in. Since I also have referral fr the barangay health center.

They will give you a list of med and peripherals to buy for the delivery. Very strict, matataray, mabibigat kamay pero very supportive during delivery ang mga midwife. 3 lang kayo sa room, aircon and malinis.

More or less 3k nagastos namin for meds, peripherals, new born screening and process of cert of live birth. That also includes my food/drinks.

You have to bring 2 person to donate blood however wala ako nun so I used my Philhealth. Sa waiver they will take 1,500 for it (related sa blood donation/bank).

Inshort, wala talaga ako binayaran sa service nila sakin sa lying in. I'm happy coz me and baby have more savings

I gave birth in Australia so for other GT posters thinking of giving birth in a private hospital here...

(we have top level private health insurance with BUPA and they have a corporate health plan... everytime we're admitted to a private hospital, we have to pay $250 but because of the corporate health plan, our organization pays for this per annum)

so "excess" - none ($250 was shouldered by our organization)
pediatrician's fee - $100 ($400 originally but was covered by Medicare)
1st anesthetist's fee - none ($480 was covered entirely by our insurance)
2nd anesthetist's fee - $200 (originally $1217 but was covered by our insurance)
OB's fee - none (her fee was $2470 but it was covered by our insurance)
blood tests - none ($60 was covered again)
CT scan (pelvimetry) - none ($194 again covered)
other hospital tests - none (my insurance statement has the ff charges: $29, $225)
hospital stay (3 days in the hospital then after, I was moved to the maternity wing of a 5* hotel. Stayed here for 2 more days) - none ($5645 was again covered)
because maarte ako, I requested to upgrade our hotel room and was charged $50... surprised it was covered by our insurance din pala

so all up, only $300!

Pero if walang private health insurance, or you're not a PR and you want to give birth privately here, there's the breakdown.

We paid $300ish for our private insurance, monthly. And we had to be a member for at least 12 months (satisfy their waiting period) before we could claim childbirth benefits

antenatal is a different story... we paid $3500 all up for everything (OB checkup, blood tests, ultrasounds, CVS, etc... basta everything). Total expenses for antenatal care was $6000 but the government shouldered $2500.

NOW... if you just wanna give birth in a "public" hospital (which is not the same level as public hospitals in Philippines... just putting it out there...)... everything is FREE!!!! pati antenatal care. Basta lahat.
