I paid HK$850 (roughly Php4700) for:
- Induced labour, NSD
- 7D/6N ako sa post natal ward sa Pamela Youde
- 1 night si baby sa post natal ward ko
- 5D/4N si baby sa Special Care Baby Unit due to hypoglycemia

The HK govt subsidised about HK$41000 (roughly Php229K). $50 na admin fee and $100 per day ako and $50 per day si baby.

We went the public route with private OB during check ups para yung matitipid namin pang education nalang ng anak namin.

mga sissies na nanganak na... ask ko lang.. how much yung quote sa inyo kapag high risk pregnancy... or kung may nanganak na tapos high risk ang pregnancy nya.. how much yung bill nyo???

^sis bakit ka daw high risk? I was considered high risk dahil sa hypertension. OB suggested I prepare 100k. Sumobra dun yung bill ko not because of my hypertension but because I delivered prematurely. Baby needed to be incubated. Sa Paranaque Doctors ako sis.

i was quoted 60k for normal delivery and 100k for cs s capitol medical center pero no complications... so kapag high risk magkano kaya??? i am diabetic and was diagnosed with cushings syndrome and pcos... i dont know kung ibig sabihin nun eh high risk agad... that's why i am asking sa mga sis na nanganak na...

^sana may magcomment dito na nakaranas na sa capitol medical. but I suggest letting someone else take charge of the atms/credit cards tapos wag mo na isipin sis. baka dumagdag pa sa stress mo. basta alam mo din maximum withdrawal/day ng atm mo ok na yun!

paid 60k sa VRP mandaluyong last november, NSD w/ epid (discounted narin ng philhealth). ward lang kami but i'm happy with their service, i felt secured with my doctors, i have a very low tolerance sa pain kasi kaya inalalayan talaga nila ako. planning to give birth at VRP again for my 2nd baby.

 I gave birth last December sa Pines City Doctors Hospital sa Baguio City. Previous CS ako supposedly sa Salve Regina Ako manganganak my OB quoted 30k for normal and 80k for CS affiliated din sya ng Chinese Gen at Medical City. gusto ko sana magVBAC kaso na CS pa din ako sa Baguio bale 50k ang bill ko lhat lhat since me philhealth ako bale 31k na lang binayaran ko private na po yun. Meron nga sa Pembo na lying in libre lang pag me philhealth ka. So far ok nman lahat.

Ust hospital, big private room, 4days
24 hrs nasa nursery si baby kasi under observation (nakakain ng meconium), the rest of our stay is roomed in na ang baby.
Lahat na yun kasama ang pf ng ob, pedia, anesthesiologist, hearing test, newborn screening, initial infant vaccines ni baby, pati takeout meds ko good for 1 week.
It's kinda pricey, but the service is ok, considering ang ayos pa ng pagkakatahi ng cs wound ko at alaga talaga kami ni baby hanggang sa paglabas namin
I think cheaper ng mga 20k pag small private room at sa ward. at mas mababa rin syempre kung NSD.
My OB is dr. Dee.

mrsR dr. Osilla ang OB, april3 pa ang edd ko so wala pa ko hospital fee. Madocs ka rin ba? Sino OB mo? Nagtanong kami dun ng maternity package las Sat 30k normal delivery, 60k -CS basta walang cmplication. Pero wala pa kaming details kung OK ang package kas automatic na ward yung room eh kung marami in a room ayaw din kas ni hubby.

Hello sis. same tayo ng OB. well tinanong ko si doc sabi nya prepare 50K. lahat yun and private room na. kung gusto kong mas mura 40 yata pero sa semi or ward yata ialalagay. so ok na ko sa 50k pero private naman.

Paano makatipid? Magpa member sa philhealth. At least 3 months na hulog laking tulong sa hospital bills lalo na if CS you can get almost 20k deduction.

And if your from Taguig, take advantage of the 40% discount from this hospital. Again malaking tulong lalo na if your on a budget.

Review for TPDH

Kung ako masusunod ayoko talaga manganak sa hospital. Gusto ko sa lying in.  Bakit? Takot ako sa hospital. Never pa ko na hospitalize. Takot ako sa injection. Takot ako sa emergency room na iba't ibang pasyente na may iba't ibang sakit ang laman. Sa dami ng nanganganak sa hospital takot ako na baka mapalitan ng ibang baby ang anak ko.

But when my OB from a lying in told me na malaki ang chance ko ma-CS (I have a 5cm myoma na malapit sa ulo ni baby though di naman nakaharang sa birth canal) better schedule daw a CS than try normal delivery tapos ending CS din tapos doble gastos pa.

Ayan goodbye to the lying in of my dreams and hello hospital. The only hospital accredited ng OB ko is Paranaque Doctors. He quoted 60k for package tapos ward room. But then since may complication due to myoma baka di ko makuha yung package. Though di naman pwede operahan yung myoma ko kasi madugo daw. I asked how much we need to prepare. Sabi nya prepare more than 60k. Ayan na. Mas lalo ako na stress. The fact na manganganak na nga ako sa hospital then surprise pa kung magkano abutin ng bill nag back out na ko. I told him sa public hospital na lang kami para makatipid. Super limited ang funds namin at di na ko nag inarte.

I asked around and researched pano and saan makakamura and ayon nga TPDH was the answer. Sa totoo lang ayoko din sa hospital na to kahit walking distance from us. We had a bad experience here when my father had a stroke bago-bago pa lang tong hospital and I swore never to come back.

But a friend whose sister and aunt gave birth here thru CS and a neighbor na well-off still chose this hospital to give birth to (CS din cya). All gave positive review so ayun medyo napalagay loob ko.

Well it has been a long time and madami na rin changes like for example may private sector na sila and this I chose.

Super thankful to Dra Paraguya cos she believe kaya ko mag normal and I did. I highly recommend her and this hospital lalo na if you're on a budget. Basta  di ka maselan.
They don't have private rooms, semi-private meron and 5 patients in each room.

Pros:
- malinis ang labor and delivery room.
- mababait ang nurses and doctors
- malakas ang aircon sa room
- clean bathroom with strong water

Cons:
- wala private rooms
- wala water heater sa bathroom
- di ko bet ang food na sini-serve. Buti na lang marami bilihan sa labas
- wala newborn screening. We have to go to another hospital pa. Sayang kasi covered sana ng philhealth.

Overall, I am happy with my chosen hospital. No regrets and super laki ng na save namin ni hubby. The amt we paid parang same price na rin with lying in.

Sa lying in na pinag anakan ko assured ako na maganda ang service pati mga materials and amenities kasi yung sister ko sa 2 niya anak lying in siya. Registered ang midwife pati mga staff.

Good to see na may nagpapacheck sa UST. UST din ako sis,qoute ng OB ko is 70k-80k NSD, CS daw is 100k. Nakapagtanong ka na ba ng package ng OB mo sis? ob ko si Dra. Dizon
