Hi sis! Im 14weeks pregnant and I'm planning to give birth in Antipolo Doctors Hospital.
My OB is Dra. Cherelyn Abe. I'm just wondering if ok yung overall experience mo. Bakit hindi agad na room-in si baby? Hubby and I were really excited though medyo matagal pa naman. 😄

^Okay yung overall experience. Yun nga lang di allowed ang hubby during labor and delivery. Under observation pa ata si baby non. I gave birth at around 9pm tapos naroom in siya the next day pa, around 11am.

Pinakamahal na hospital is makati med so dont give birth there! Tapos facilities are old, service is bad pa. Yung ob pa mahilig magCS kahit normal dapat. Mahal tuloy binayad.  Yung hospital dami din nicharge na hindi namin ginamit. Mali pa computation sa bill so kelangan icheck isa isa mahilig yung hospital magdagdag ng hindi naman ginamit

Sabi ni doc bawas na yung philhealth kasi sa binigay nya sakin na rate but wala naman pina fill up sakin na kahit ano.

shoudve gone with dr leonardo almeda. si almeda parating normal delivery, mabait pa sobra. Ayaw lang ni hubby dahil lalaki. Na CS tuloy ako and naovercharge pa

i gave birth at Makati Med last week (thursday).. my total bill was 92K.. naka-package ako for scheduled CS (semi-private room) at 82K rate.. bali yung 10K ay miscellaneous na.. tapos minus pa dun ang philhealth ko na around 11K din.. wala pa ang SSS.. aasikasuhin ko pa..

more inputs pa sana mga sis Bihira yata nanganganak sa UST Hospital, dun ko pa naman gusto manganak kasi okay yung OB ko pero wala pang makuhang inputs kung magkano dun at feedbacks

Mahal kasi doctors fee pa lang plus pedia and anesthesiologist is 120k na

^ yan din dagdag sa worries ko. im thinking of switching to another ob. imagine, at mmc sabi ng ob ko
hindi daw siya nagtitipid sa gamit like yun gauze and sutures. may specific team siya ng anesthesiologist at pedia. and mind you,
she also mentioned na di siya nagpa-package. and when i asked a rough estimate she answered " lalagpas ka ng 100k"
after that, hindi nako nag ff up question kung kasali na ba yun doctors fee dun or kanya lang yan. i felt uncomfortable tuloy sa kanya. sadly.

Even if I have like the money to spend 100 - 200K to deliver my child, di ko pa rin gagawin, since makakapagbayad ka naman sa decent hospital for 50K at most with the same process and almost same service, ipapanginvest ko na lang yan sa education at future ng baby kesa gumastos ng ganon in more or less 3 days.

Hubby wants mmc, pero gusto ko sana sa madocs kasi mas mura daw dun compare sa mmc. Sana may magshare naman nung sa manila doctors.

Some friends of mine gave birth at Manila Doctors Hospital. All of them normal deliveries.  Their OB is I think Dr. Amurao. She has an afternoon clinic there. According to my friends, they are comfortable with her coz she's down-to-earth, di ka daw mahihiyang magtanong kahit tungkol sa sex during pregnancy. Reasonable daw sya sumingil. One friend told me 37k [textspeak!] total bill nya, inclusive of her and Pedia's PF's, her hospital bill and nursery. But she stayed in the ward and the Philhealth benefit already deducted. Normal delivery (3rd baby) under sedation. No anesthesiologist so there was no epidural or painless whatsoever, pinatulog lang daw sya ng OB nya pero wala naman daw sya naramdaman so ok lang kahit di painless kase 3rd baby na nya. And also what's good about her OB is that nagbabantay daw talaga.   

Good luck !! If you need her schedule, i will ask my friends. She holds clinic also in St. clare's Medical Center in Makati.

Thanks! My OB is accredited both in mmc and mdh, im on my 35th week na. Sabi din ni OB mas mura sa mdh mas malayo nga lang ng konti samin unlike yung mmc mga 15 to 20 mins both sa work and ofc.

2. Hospital name - Asian Hospital, Muntinlupa. Stayed Friday am to Sun afternoon. Baby stayed in the huggery.
3. Procedure - NSD + Ligation + Circumcision for baby
4. Doctor's names - Dra. Arlene Tuazon (OB), Dra Apostol (Pedia), Dra Laguna (anes), Dr. Rodolfo Tuazon (pedia surgeon for circumcision)
5. Deduction from SSS or philhealth if applicable - 30k from SSS
6. Reviews, other info pano makatipid?

This is my 3rd NSD in Asian and I have always always been happy with their service. Everyone was attentive and supportive so extremely worth yung binabayad. The room is spacious and they let you bring home all your pillows kasi kasama na yon sa charge ng room.

It's a good idea to include ligation and circumcision na if that's an option since you don't have to pay extra for the the anesthesia for ligation (I used my epi from the NSD, dinagdagan lang and sinedate ako) or the hospital stay. Isang bayaran ng PF nalang din. Plus yung circumcision, nasa huggery naman na din anyway so you're bound to save compared to having the procedures done separately on a different day.
