btw, ask ko lang sana kung meron kayong lector/commentator during mass? san pala kayo kumuha? or meron ba official lector si cale? TIA

^we got some of our friends to be commentator and lectors. i gave them a copy of our misalette beforehand para ma-rehearse nila.

^^sis, i think fr. allen does weddings in manila kasi may nakasabay kami 1-2 couples sa rehearsal na sa metro manila church ikakasal.

For me overrated si Father Allen..Super saya ko at excited ko nung malaman ko na accepted ang request namin for him to be the officiating priest for our wedding. Kaya lang hindi ako natuwa sa kanya nung mismong kasal namin. Pati mga guests na um-attend ng mass magkaiba ang comments: sa mga nakausap ko may mga natuwa sa kanya at may mga iba naman na nainis. Ako personally hindi ako natuwa sa kanya, sorry sa mga sisses na nako-commend sa kanya.    Siguro sa case ko lang un, hindi lang kasi ako nagandahan sa interpretation nya sa love story namin and sa ibang mga bagay na sinabi nya. Pero sa mga brides na gusto syang kunin as officiating priest.. go push nyo lang kasi marami namang bride na natuwa sa kanya.

Sis through Caleruega lang din ko siya kinocontact.. Sila sumasagot on his behalf. He sent na rin his certificates and license para sa church requirements

I personally like Fr. Allen. The only thing that I don't like is that his sermon is template-ish. I can say this because I've attended 3 different weddings whom he officiated and his sermon was same. Ang difference lang ay yung pag kwento nya ng love story ng couple kasi every couple naman different ang love story talaga. But eveything else came from his template. But I would understand that if it's your first time to hear him, you would be impressed because his style is really different from what other priests usually do

^ Medyo same comment here re: sa similar template sis, but I still like him kasi totoo naman nagiging solemn at memorable ang wedding dahil sa pagka OC ni Fr. Allen. Plus, yun guests namin were really hooked on him kaya all attention were on the couple.
