Any tips for someone who last dated someone 10 years ago? Ang problem ko is I don't easily warm up to people so medyo tahimik ako. Pero pag naging close na kami nung guy, hanggang friends lang kami palagi. I don't even know where to start looking. Speed dating ba saan meron ngayon? Thanks =)

Try online dating sites. Although ang daming manyak sa mga ganyan, use it as your training grounds to practice conversing with men. Guys will make the first move anyway so it's up to you how receptive you'll be.

^agree. practice lang kasi baka kinalawang na ang flirting skills. then apply sa real life. rinse and repeat.

anyway, mejo relate ako, but before hubby, my last date was 6 years ago. Batang-bata pa ko non, 20 y/o palang. So nung nag-start ulit akong makipagdate (months before I met my hubby now), eh kinakalawang na din ang skills ko and I began to doubt my charms. Baka kako natuyot na and wala ng bisa lol! And guess what I did: I started on craigslist, but bad idea. Puro scammers and maniac nakilala ko pero meron ata 2-3 na matinong kausap. Instead of getting discouraged aba sulong hanap ulit and try again. Siguro nakailang dating sites din ako before I had my fill of "practice" and ready to apply in real life na. True enough for me, mas na-appreciate ko yung face to face conversations kasi I know if mukha bang tao or rapist kausap ko, if totoo bang magka-age kami, etc. So yon. Try mo sis, wala namang mawawala. Just be wary in giving your personal info and details. If you are careful, the worse that can happen to you online is to receive nude pics or some revolting images of their body parts, haha!

but i agree, try mo rin yung online dating sites to scout for men. it's a safer place to start. wag lang makipag eyeball agad.
