sis, yung day 1 mo ok na yan. Dati, we took the ferry from tst to hk side then from there, we took the bus to the lower terminus of the peak. Dun kami sumakay ng tram. Nandun din yung madame tussauds. Ferry ride was about 8 mins. Puwede rin mtr from tst. Then puwede pa kayo magshopping after. Yung sa day 4 you still have the whole day to shop.

I did not find the sales exciting. Actually parang wala nga masyado good deals. Better pa whenever I go usually (Jan or Feb.)

Pero still, HK is the BEST place for me when I want to recharge.

our trip is on Nov. 25-29. I'll post and ask for your opinions once I have our IT na. nag inquire na rin pala
ako sa GC, good thing nabasa ko dito na hindi ok ang chungking mansions, andami ko pa namang ni-shortlist
na hotels dun kasi ang mura ng rates.

@ sis rocky: hehe nag email na sakin yung GC reserved na daw kami for 24 hours. babayaran ko nalang
yung reservation fee.

mga sis na nag-credit card sa HK shopping nila, lalo na yung sa BPI, yung exact amount ba na nicharge
sa binili nyo yun din ang na post sa statement nyo after? I read and a friend who already went to HK
last year told me mas mura daw kung cc ang gamit sa pang shopping, concerned lang ako baka may
foreign fees na dagdag pag na post na sa statement? tia sa magrereply.

Antigone, the feeling's mutual I didn't shop din when I was there 2 weeks ago. Mas marami pa akong nashop dito sa SG. But still nag enjoy pa din ako sa HK! Super enjoy pa din ang pag ikot ikot and night life.

rychel07, depends sa exchange rate on the day of posting ng credit card issuing bank kaya sometimes malaki ang difference (mas mura). Sa bank statement, they will display the exact total price you spent. Iyon lang ang icoconvert nila to Peso.

question pala ulit, how much cash yung pedeng dalhin sa flight na hindi masisita? I'm saving up kasi talaga for this trip
gusto ko ma-maximize yung money ko so I'm thinking na magwithdraw na dito palang sa manila para hindi
nako ma charge ng extra from withdrawing money sa other ATMs sa HK.

^I'm not aware of any limit, when we went I brought 6K HK$ and my sister 5KHK$. We werent asked at all how much we brought in.

You might incur ATM fees if you withdraw - you can purchase HK$ locally in Manila at a good price.

^^Sis, you can't bring amount greater than 10,000 of any currency. Dapat 10k or less, I suggest bring USD para mas malaki yung HKD equivalent nya. I also withdraw using my BPI atm there, minimal lang naman charges. And also use your CC when shopping.
