^^ sis, kung sarado pa din Citygate lockers, pwede kayo sa cable car station pa-NgongPing mag-iwan ng luggage. Me hourly lockers din dun. If sira or ginagawa ang lockers, pwede mag-iwan sa storage room nila at hkd50/piece for whole day na yun. Ngong Ping staff ang mag-aassist sa yo. Tried both the locker and the storage room sa NgongPing and wala naman kami naging problem.

We stayed at the USA Hostel sa Mirador Mansion. Napuntahan ni hubby yung Chungking and hindi daw talaga bet. :/

Salamat sa reply sis, malamang sa NP lockers na nga kami magiwan ng gamit. 50HKD/pc ba sa storage nila? May idea ka sa lockers nila sis kung how much? Hassle ba kung check-in muna sa TST then balik sa TungChung para magNgong Ping?

^Hassle sis, IMO. Tung Chung is about 15 minutes away from the airport. Malayo TST mga 40 minutes travel time.

Maganda if you packed light. Kasi naka-back pack lang kami ni hubby noon papuntang HK tapos magagaan na damit dala namin (no jeans!)

^^ sis, forgot na how much yung hourly rate sa NgongPing lockers. But for sure reasonable naman ang rate. Could be similar to the rate in Citygate locker.

Super-layo if mag-TST pa kayo before NP, sayang sa travel time. Me bus na din kasi from airport to Tung Chung kaya convenient na. Twice na namin ginawa na from airport diretso to NP, then tsaka kami nagcheckin sa TST.

Ok thanks mga sis. Will probably avail of the lockers na sa NP. Sana working ang lockers nila. Nakapack na ako, dalawang duffel bag. [textspeak!] isa maliit lang.

Meron kayong idea how much yung stroller rent sa Disneyland?

Where exactly in Central/Hong Kong station are the baggage lockers located? We will arrive in HK early morning - around 8AM and our lodging isn't available til 2PM so we want to stash our luggage and do some shopping in the meantime.

On accommodation, I booked a studio apartment good for 2 within the causeway bay area, came out to 3K pesos a night. Not bad! I booked via airbnb.com. I'll post my reviews after our trip in case anyone is interested.

How do you purchase tickets from CTS for Disneyland? I tried checking out the website but I need to sign up as a member? Can't I just purchase over the counter? My sister also said there's a promo for a pair of free speakers for every 2 DL tickets purchased , she said it's being sold in Times Square, not sure exactly where though.

Our trip will mainly be a food/shopping trip with Disneyland as an exception. We plan to go there after lunch and stay til the evening. Will that be enough time or do we need one entire day?

Re DL, sa amin, enough na yung 12nn onwards dun. Pero depende din kasi sa dami ng tao (haba ng pila) at kung balak nyo ba sakyan madaming rides. Yung iba nagtu-2days pa nga sa DL so depende talaga. Personally, I think enough na ang 12nn (or 1pm) onwards sa DL. Even sa Paris, in one day namin ginawa both ang DL and Walt Disney Studios. Wala rin kasi kami kasamang bata, kami lang ni hubby, hehe..

A quick question lang anong sasakyan na bus from Ngong Ping Station to TST? Or mas OK na magMTR? Thanks ulit!

^^AFAIK, walang bus diretso to TST from NP nor Tung Chung.

MTR is the fastest and most convenient way to get to TST from Tung Chung.

Pasensya na mga sis, kung may makakasagot, lam ko OT, di kasi masyado active yung hand carry thread dito, I dont know where else I could post this:

Pwede po ba 8 inch long MONOPOD sa hand carry? cebu pac international HK flight. Parang ganto itsura niya mga sis http://monopodmanila.blogspot.com/ ang liit liit magbabayad pa ko ng 400 for prepaid check in, baka mas mawala pa on their end.

^alam ko sis bawal kasi yang mga ganyan & umbrella sa hand-carry. pwede ka namang mag-add ng check in baggage online para mas mura pag upon check-in 400 na

sis cinnam, tama si sis rocky as in NOT allowed yan sa hand-carry mas sayang kung iiwan mo lang yan sakanila... usually pag tripod iba ang lagayan nila then minsan una o huling nakukuha ang tripod kaya dapat ihabilin mo sa counter at lagayan mo ng FRAGILE, pag international flight naman sis maingat mga crew... unlike domestic yung tripod namin nabali lang naman yung pihitan

Not to add confusion.. but for my last 2 or 3 flights (one with CebuPac to Korea), me nakita ako nakapaghandcarry ng small tripod. Ako naman personally, nakapaghandcarry na nung parang octopus mini tripod. I think papayagan ang monopod.

^Yup, we always bring our monopod and mini-tripod (the big ones alam ko bawal plus any umbrella) inside our handcarry. Never pa naman kami nagka-problema. We've used both T1 (CX and KLM) and T3 (5J both domestic and international flights).

Just came back from Cebu last week and hindi kami nagkaproblema with our monopod and mini-tripod.

biglang mahal ng ticket sa CTS    320hkd na ang DL tickets! any advise san po kaya iba pang mura... also hows the weather po dyan sa hk? we will be there on weekend?  anong araw po kaya mas less ang tao sa DL saturday or sunday? thanks
