Mura ba ang price ng mga kate spade bag sa citygate outlet as compared sa rustan's?

We usually buy HKD locally here in Manila, I think the rates are better. When I went in Dec the exchange rate was 5.4pesos = 1HK$. Now it's 5.7 according to my mom. She will wait for it to go down before she buys our HKD for our trip.

You will lose out more if you purchase USD and then change to HKD, take into account most money changers charge a percentage or fee for the exchange.

Hi mga sis, I want to ask your comments on our itinerary:

Day 1
12nn - 4pm - Disneyland
4pm - 11pm - The peak

Day 2
10am - 7pm - Ocean Park
08pm - 11pm - Victoria Harbor, Avenue of Stars

Just want to know kung reasonable po ba yung time allocation ko sa mga spots. Tama ba na combination and Disneyland & the peak or Ocean park & the peak na lang. Reasonable naman po ba yung combination ng spots in terms of distance? Want to know your comments, kasi first time po namin sa HK eh ifever. Thanks=)

^^ 4 hours isn't enough for Disneyland sis. Lalo na it's your first time. 730-8 ish yung fireworks, worth it yun IMO

Day1 - super-bitin and hindi sulit ang 4 hours sa Disneyland. At least 8-9hrs, IMO. Kasi me pila/lakadlakad pa. Tsaka fireworks pa sa gabi (7:30 or 8pm yata)

Day2 - pwedeng The Peak sa umaga until brunch/lunch. Then Ocean Park na. Maganda din yung Symbio light and fountain show sa OP, 7pm yata yun. After OP, pag kaya pa ng powers nyo, you can walk around Avenue of Stars pa naman.

Ok [textspeak!] ba duffle bag as hand carry? Kasi plan ko naman I check in to pag uwi from hk para sa mga pasalubong. Or mas safe na magdala na lang ako Ng shoulder bag tapos itupi ko yung duffle bag sa loob?

Hindi kasi ako confident sa measurements nung duffle bag ko, although konti lang talaga ilalagay ko dun going to hk. Kung di naman puno yung duffle bag, Hindi pa rin ba pwede as hand carry? Tia

sino po sa inyo ang nakapag-try na ng locker sa airport? we will be bringing 2 luggages. Yung size nya na pang 15-20 kilo capacity. tapos isang handcarry. kasya po ba sa isang locker yun? ang rate ng locker is HKD 10 per hour. plan sana namin na don iwan pagdating namin para makapunta sa ngong ping bago mag-check in. sa airport namin napili na iwan yung luggage instead na sa ngong ping o citygate.

pa-feedback naman po kung kasya sya. para less travel time kami  versus sa original IT namin.  (airport-check in hostel-ngong ping).  salamat!

ako, may nike akong duffle bag & lagi kong handcarry yon kasi hinahagis lang sa cargo. nadala na ako dati, nasira ng cebu pac duffle bag ko.

Just got home from a 4 day trip to HK. Here's my rough field report.

Di nasunod itinerary ko. Na-forgo namin and The Peak and Madame Tussaud. Nahumaling kasi sa outlet stores si hubby. lol.

1st Day:
Arrived at 740am sa HKIA. Sinundo kami ni sis-in-law.
Diretso kami Tung Chung para diretso na Ngong Ping pero 10am pa open Cable Car kaya McDo breakfast muna. Hehe
Almost 3hours din kami sa NP dahil sa picture taking lol.
Nag-bus kami pabalik Tung Chung then ikot-ikot sa Citygate Outlets.
Past 3pm na kami nakapag-check-in sa hostel sa Tsim Shat Tsui.
Bagsak lang ng gamit then lakad na ulit.
Kumain kami sa Ah Say Eatery. 120HKD for 3 people may takeout pa. Sulit. Sarap pa.
Then punta sa In-City Outlet Store sa TST din.
Lakad papunta sa Clock Tower then antay na dun ng Symphony of Lights. Overrated yung SOL... BUT do not misinterpret. The harbor is beautiful during the night. Worth seeing, even without SOL. SOL lang di ako impressed.
Then lakad na pabalik ng hostel, after namin hinatid sa MTR si sis-in-law

Day 2
Ocean Park Day
Had a congee breakfast sa isang hole-in-the-wall shop. Sarap. 70HKD for 2 people tapos busog na busog na yan.
Bought OP tickets at CTS for 240 each, tipid ng 40HKD per person
Went to Admiralty thru MTR tapos may exit naman na sa mismong bus terminus for OP.
Swerte namin sa pila, naputol sa amin kaya sa bus namin sa taas ng bus kami front row.
Sa OP, separate lane ang claims ng online and travel services tickets.
Diretso Cable Car kami para makarating sa Summit kung saan most of the thrill rides. Mas nakakalula cable car nito than NP Cable Car.hehe
Hindi na namin sinakyan lahat ng rides. Okay na kami sa 3 thrill rides tapos mas tingin na ng animal exhibits
Left at around 5pm. Kain sa Cade de Coral sa Admiralty then diretso Mongkok as per request ni hubby for shopping (gusto ko sana The Peak eh)
Dito lang ako nakapag-Cotton On.
Naka-uwi sa TST ng mga 11pm na

Day 3
Macau Day
Went to Sheung Wan for ferry to Macau ng 7am
Availed of Cotai Jet tickets kasi may birthday promo sila na 218HKD rountrip tickets each for celebrant and a guest. Almost 100HKD natipid namin
Maalon sa HK medyo nahilo ako pagsakay pero nothing a nap cannot cure. Pero sa mga prone to motion sickness talaga, Bonamine is a must
Sa Macau di na maalon.
Took the Venetian shuttle. medyo nagtagal kami dito. Ang damin sarap picturan. Dito rin kami kumain ng lunch.
We opted to buy Koi Kei stuff na dito kasi alam namin magulo at matao sa ibang branches lalo sa Senado Square
Crossed sa City of Dreams and them shuttle to Sintra Na malapit sa Grand Lisboa na malapit sa Senado Square
Photo ops sa display ng Grand Lisboa then walk to Senado Square na.
Milk tea and cow offals for snacks hehe.
Pakabusog din sa samples ng cookies and jerky papuntang Ruins of St. Paul haha
Photo ops sa Ruins then lakad n pabalik Lisboa then shuttle sa City of dreams Dun na lang window shopping until 6pm kasi 7pm yung ferry namin to HK

After Macau, umuwi na ako sa hostel while my hubby, nag-ikot pa for shopping! Haha
I waited for him mga until 11pm or so.
Had super late dinner at Tsui Wah where I LOVED the King Prawn noodles with XO sauce.

Day 4
9am met up with sis in law for breakfast 35HKD per person lang panalo
Check out na sa hostel
Shopping galore na ako sa Esprit outlet sa In City. Hiyang kasi balakang ko sa pants sizes nila. LOL
Nag-hoard din ako ng Loreal Hair color,which is easily half the price sa HK.
MTR to Tung Chung then claimed my deposit na ng Octopus Card 33 na lang ang naibalik
S1 bus to Airport. 3.5HKD lang
Lunch muna sa Maxim's (di ko kasi nakita na may Tsui Wah huhu) okay di namasarap na rin
Ayun check in na to go home.
