hi!
touched down at NAIA at 10:22PM last night. delayed ang Cebu Pacific sa 7:40PM flight. pero at least safe pa rin ang byahe namin.
we enjoyed HK! init nga lang. hehe. nasa 75 or 85% yata humidity nung andun kami, based sa news.
Day 1: whole day DL
- we arrived at HK airport ng 8am. had breakfast at Maxims. mura lang food dito and nakabusog naman. i only spent HKD100 dito for 4 pax. i even took 2 buns sa bag ko. sa DL ko kinain. hehe.
- we bought octopus cards dun sa airport na rin. may booth sila dun. 3 adult, 1 child card.
- took S1 bus papuntang Tung Chung. 20mins na bus ride. buses are like SG's.
- Sunny Bay to DL. short ride lang.
- sarado pa DL when we arrived pero ang haba na ng pila sa gates. and people were sweating talaga. may field trip pa ng pre-schoolers.
- i bought tix na online, so derecho nako sa customer service. they gave me actual DL tix.
- yung luggage namin. deposit ko sana sa lockers sa loob. rate kasi dun is per locker (HKD60) at hindi per item. pero dapat daw walang wheels. e may trolley kami, so we had no choice kundi mag-deposit dun sa lockers sa tabi ng ticketing na HKD60/item. 2 bags dep namin. we had to transfer yung ibang items from sa bag na ipapasok namin sa DL, sa bag na idep namin. pwede naman daw magpasok ng bag, as long as walang food. water fountain meron sa tabi ng guest relations before you enter DL gates.
- mahabang lakaran papunta sa actual resort. ang init pa naman. pero people were dressed na parang pupunta ng party. some were even in high heels and chiffon dresses.
- inabutan namin yung announcement " that the park is now officially open"... or something to that effect. and people were running towards the castle gates! nakakatuwa!
- una naming try yung Dumbo. aliw lang. super pambata. parang 2 mins lang yata. haha
- then yung Mickeys Philharmagic, Astroblaster (Level 5 ako. hahaha), Golden Mickeys, we took the train ride also. sa 4D, parang di na maganda glasses nila. hindi clear,e. mas malinaw pa yung 3D sa Manila Ocean Park.
- we had lunch sa Star Liner Diner. burgers and fries. HKD60/cheeseburger meal. may kasama na pala syang water bottle. di kasi nakasulat. buy pa tuloy ako ng 2 Coke in cans. e HKD23 din ang isa.
- di na kami nakaikot sa Lion King. super init na. di na kaya ng 2 boys ko. 5:45am kasi flight namin. so puyat din sila. pumapasok na lang kami sa shops to buy souvenirs para malamigan kami.
- we bought DL shirts for the boys; watch, dress, bagtag for our daughter (naiwan sa Pinas,e. hehe). keychains, photoframes, pens
- naghintay na lang kami sa park ng parade at 4pm. after the parade, saka nagdadatingan yung mga tao for the fireworks. as in kadarating lang. nakakasalubong namin sa gates.
- claim luggage then papunta na kami sa hotel. BP iNternational hotel in Austin road. we took the MTR.
- our 2 boys were too tired na. higa na then they ate the cookies that we brought.
- hubby and i washed up then dinner kami sa Cafe de Coral. tapat lang ng hotel.
we took away na lang yung dinner ng 2 boys para kainin nila sa hotel. masarap ang food nila and mura lang. HKD37 for a meal with rice, duck, chicken and tea.
- nilapitan nga ako ng isang waitress nila. elderly na lahat. cashiers and cooks lang ang bata. she asked where i'm from, sabi ko phils. kahit kinakabahan ako. then she said, welcome to hk.
- i ordered yung rice meal na may chicken and duck, pero wala kako drinks. they don't understand much english. very little lang or none at all. pagdating sa hotel, walang duck tsaka drinks. chicken lang.
- nagpapalit ako ng USD to HKD around sa hotel. it was 100USD=760HKD. then next morning, 789 na. asar!
- hotel room was 4 bunk beds. liit ng room. as mostly in HK. pero since 1st time namin, shocked yung son ko. sabi nya, akala ko ba 3-star to? haha! malakas ang aircon kasi ang liit lang ng room. there were 4 bunk beds, a long table with flat screen TV, hair dryer na bolted sa table (haha), one chair, electric pot, tea, coffee, cups, etc. towels are replaced everyday. 4 bath towels, 4 face towels. downside is walang soap, bath gel na maliit na tube. e 4 kaya kami! we looked for soap sa tapat namin na 7-11, circle k and wellcome, pati grocery sa likod ng hotel, walang soap. bat ganun?
- may dispenser sa labas ng hotel room, so drinking water was not a problem.
- wifi was not free. HKD50 for 4 hours.
- we slept at around 10 or 11 PM siguro kasi walang HBO sa TV sa hotel.
