Any feedback? or recommendations on what to order?

We had dinner in saboten in myeongdong seoul. I love  the food and ambiance of this resto. We ordered the beef with rice (something like gyudon) and mixed katsu (shrimp, pork and chicken). Everything was yummy and the prices are reasonable.

Saw the prices na sa Our Awesome Planet blog. Looks okay naman, parang Yabu-ish except for some more premium menu items nila, syempre mas pricey

^^Yup nagkalat lang ang Saboten sa Seoul. If I remember correctly, the Sets (inclusive of the cabbage salad na) starts at 12k won, so mga 500 pesos? I hope same range or lower ang price sa pinas. Fave ko yung Chicken katsu before sa Saboten Kr.

^ i think almost the same naman for the sets dapat maaya ko na family ko dito. Haha!

^^yung total bill namin for dinner was 33500krw inclusive of 2 sets and 2 drinks. Not bad na.

Had dinner last night and super enjoy kame... refillable rice, cabbage, pickles and miso soup  =)  I ordered the medium tenderloin set and malaki naman serving nya (though bigger yung sa yabu)

^ nung napadaan kami last weekend, wala naman pila pero madami kumakain. Gusto ko rin this weekend, sana maisingit. puro set ata sila noh, wala nung pwede side order ng katsu lan? Parang may nakita ko ganun sa Yabu menu e.

Sarap yung miso soup. Porkloin Karaage was my favorite.

Nagtry kami kanina ng porkloin + prawn set nila hkd 109 same price ba rito sa pinas? Sana mas mura. Gusto ko i-try if may all prawns sila. Para kasing walang lasa yun porkloin naka-isang slice lang ako.

I prefer this over Yabu. Mas masarap sauce, and the tenderloin was heavenly. Mas mukhang fresh din ang cabbage. Walang pila, but they don't accept reservations so get there early for lunch and dinner.

Sarap ng food nila I tried tenderloin set, medium lang and it was so sulit. Fresh ng cabbage, ok kahit walang dressing. The tonkatsu itself was fried perfectly tapos hindi oily. Malalasahan mo yung crunch Mom ko tenderloin din pero large, and my sibling and dad Loin Set na large kinuha. Mas gusto nila may konting fat. Pero thin layer lang naman kaya mas juicy rin ng konti daw yung order nila super satisfied kasi less than P400/set yung orders namin.

Sa refills, attentive naman staff kahit medyo mabagal. Nag-adjust pa siguro saka dami ring tao e. Mabilis sila mapuno. Kakabukas palang, may waiting na agad so better come early pag peak hours
